14. SLIGHTLY SUSPICIOUS

“Again this exciting like.” Cetus Mas Anton arrived in Nduk's living room, showing me both of my suitcases.

Somehow I felt uncomfortable with what my best friend said just now, there was a bad feeling hearing it. “Iya Mas, here first.”

Anton looked back at me and said. “No Deck, now Mas want to go home first.”

“There is important business huh?” I asked to go back to him.

“Not also Deck.” Mas Anton replied in short, without looking at me and just looking at the tea in front of him.

I was silent listening to my best friend's words, the new feeling was talking but it was this familiar. Even Mas Anton agreed on what other people asked when compared to me, his fiancee. But maybe it's a good start so I can stay here comfortably.

“Dek, still not done with – done?” Asked Mas Anton to me, who did not respond to anything after Nduk spoke earlier.

“Worked later only.” I answered without the slightest expression on my face.
