(NON) PRETEND HUSBAND

(NON) PRETEND HUSBAND
Your world

The man in his thirties who was stopping next to the British citycar opened his helmet glass with a sultry. He was on his way to the TV station where he worked. Today it's shif part of the night, so he has to standby there until tomorrow morning. But not yet to where he worked, his body was already sweating due to the hot road by the engine of the vehicle that was jammed.

Kiandro Bagaskara's. That's the name on the black uniform he was wearing. This year he was 30 years old and still living alone in a small rented house far from where he worked.

Nearly thirty minutes later. Kian, as he is commonly called, arrived at the National Tivi Station which is quite popular. He parked his motorbike in a special employee parking lot behind the building and rushed to hang his backpack. A little running, Kian entered the main building and took the elevator to the department room where he was taking shelter.

Camera Department.

He pushed the main door of the room towards his department office. Some friends who one shif with him this time have standby in their respective cubicles waiting for orders and wish lists from the producer.

By the time Kian arrived, a piece of wish list paper was already on his desk. He draped his backpack behind the chair and pulled the sheet. Increasingly read it carefully, he will be tasked with taking videos of a new reality show on the Television Station where he works. Not a live event, so Kian must immediately give the recording to the editor. He quickly tidied up his desk for a while and stood up to go to the cam store room.

"Mas Kian, you're shooting a new show?"

I looked up at the origin of the voice. His division one friend named Risa had already stood up and prepared to follow his steps.

"Yes, Ris." Kian smiled and stepped back as Risa was already walking beside him.

"Kalo ngshoot taping tuh yummy event not pursued time, can explore as we like. Aah, when did I get to ngeshoot the taping!" sulkan Risa was not excited.

"You want a tuker with me?"

"Maybe?"

More silent for a moment, he had never exchanged the tasks of the event before.

"I guess I can't!" risa is lethargic.

"Later I try to ask the same Mr. Hendri, maybe we can tukeran!" promise Kian.

Risa's smile was bright. "Thank you, I'm Kian!" said sparkling.

He nodded and opened the tightly shut door of the Cam Store.

"Good night you two!" greet a woman who guards the Cam Store room.

"Good night, Sister Ninis!" sapa Kian's.

"Often you guys are one shif together. Careful cinlok, loh!" goda Mbak Ninis with a flirtatious smile.

With a small laugh, he took the camera he needed and checked the equipment.

Risa who stood not far away just glanced at her senior with a keki. Indeed, for a long time he liked Kian, only the man was insensitive and preferred to keep his distance. Risa is so anxious to see it herself!

"I pull it off, yeah!" He took his camera and prepared to leave.

"Mas Kian, wait! I'm done telling you, huh!?"

He nodded and smiled. He pulled the door handle and walked out of the Cam store.

"Hmmm, Lisa! You have to try harder for Mr. Naklukin. Ice it," mrs Ninis teased.

Risa smiled and watched Kian who was walking quickly towards the elevator. He sighed softly.

"Yes, Mother. I suspect that I don't like girls!"

"Hush. It's not like that, though!" bela Mbak Ninis does not accept.

Risa checked the completeness of her camera while exhaling her heavy breath. At least he has no rivals, so his attempt to conquer Kian feels easier.

In a different place.

"Camera one, stand by!" the Director commands from the headphones that Kian wears on his head.

Kian began to focus and carry out command, directing the camera at the object that was ready at the stage.

A few hours later, in the Green Area where the crew rested after carrying out their respective duties, Kian sat alone staring out the window of the building made of glass. He had already sent a message to Risa since arriving in the Green Area. Maybe the girl is still not finished with her work at Studio 5 where the live event is held.

Kiandro Bagaskara's. He lived in this big city. Since her grandmother's departure two years ago, she has become increasingly lonely. An only child who is not clear where his father and mother are. At the age of five, Kian's parents divorced and left him at his grandmother's house. Living in a big hard city makes Kian a tough figure. But since Grandma Sofia died, she felt her life was no longer meaningful. No one wants to be in this world anymore.

"Mas Kian!"

Kian jerking. His breath held for a while, his daydreams caved in instantly.

"Dream what the hell, until I didn't realize I was standing here from earlier!" Risa chuckled while pulling the chair beside Kian.

"Have you done your show?" tanya Kian shifted the topic.

Risa nodded a few times. He had brought a glass of coffee that he had taken at the vending machine.

"Tomorrow Mas Kian's off, right?"

Kian nodded still with his distinctive smile.

"Temenin me somewhere, yuk!"

"Where?"

"There, man! So, tomorrow there's no show?"

"Nothing is."

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 2, yeah! Did you wake up at that hour?"

Kian nodded. Although he lives alone, he is used to getting up early and cleaning. Living a kara inevitably requires Kian to do everything alone, including cooking and washing. Even though he went in the night.

"Mas are eating?"

"It was fitting to leave," said Kian briefly.

"It's already 1 o'clock, loh! Are you not a laper anymore?"

Shaking his head, he threw his gaze out the window. The sparkling scenery of the city that appease the heart makes Kian very fond of it.

"Tomorrow I'd like to take Mas to know my parents."

Gobbling, he turned to Risa quickly.

"Look, my parents are dead! They won't ask the same macem!" bright Risa chuckled.

"Died?"

Risa nodded. "Yes. My mom was covid positive two years ago. And died at about the same time."

Kian looked at Risa inside, so this girl in front of him was also an orphan like her?

"Tomorrow I'll pick him up at exactly 2pm, yeah! Don't have lunch, let me bring you some from home."

"Okay, Ris!"
