Arriving home after almost a week in hospital certainly makes Kian very happy. But on the other hand, there is a concern in his heart, he will no longer be able to enjoy the moment of closeness with Ann like yesterday at the Hospital. Ann looked after her all day, feeding and even joking without any more restrictions between the two. I will miss that moment very much.
"Then it's lunch time! Come sit here!" Ann had prepared a lunch for Kian and was sitting on the sofa, preparing to feed the man who still could not use his right hand.
Kian who was watching the view of the city from the window of the living room suddenly turned his head quickly, for some reason his heart flowered to see Ann treat him with special these days. With a definite step, Kian walked up to Ann and sat quietly beside her.
"Yes ..." Ann opened her mouth as she prepared to spoon the rice into Kian's mouth.
Withholding a smile, Kian complies and lets Ann do her daily routine. She was like a baby to be kept for 24 hours and was dependent on Ann.
"Tomorrow I've started working, Kian. But I'll be home when it's time for lunch. Do I need to bring Bik Sri to move here too, huh?"
Kian shakes fast. He doesn't want anyone else in the house but him and Ann.
"But you still have to be monitored."
He swallowed the food he chewed and gulped a little water on the table. "I'm cured, Ann. Don't bother yourself by going home at lunchtime. I can do it myself."
"Cannot. How do you want to eat? Your right hand can't move! At least if there is Bik Sri, for example I can not go home later he can replace me nyuapin you."
Kian was shocked to hear the statement of his wife, anything was fed Bik Sri! He's a leak!
"I'll learn to eat with my left hand, Ann. It's okay. Don't worry about me so much."
Ann's face turned sad. Actually bringing Bik Sri here is not only for the benefit of Kian, but there is also the interest of Ann. He was afraid if too often together with Kian then his feelings will be more attached to this man. Ann doesn't want to, and that can't happen!
"Ann?"
"Hmm?"
Kian pointed at the rice that was still left on the plate and coded Ann to return to feed it.
"Oh, sorry!" Ann refocused on completing her task without saying anything more. His heart started to spread every time it came close to Kian like this.
Ann shook her head weakly, she couldn't possibly tell Kian the truth. Caring for Kian was part of her responsibility, but the more days Ann felt increasingly afraid of falling for the charm of this man who was staring at her with this feeling. Kian's warm and gentle treatment slowly began to tear down Ann's defensive walls.
"You don't have to take care of me, Ann. Our contract is so clear that we both can't do this." He looked down in sorrow, his heart hurt every time he remembered their agreement.
Looking at Kian's saddened expression, Ann turned her gaze to the window. It's true, but why does his conscience do the opposite. Since the accident, Ann has been increasingly afraid of losing this man.
"How would Daren react if he knew you were treating me like this?" great-granddaughter Kian lirih, as if he wanted to resuscitate Ann if in the heart of his wife there is still another man who mastered his feelings and love.
"Then what should I do, Kian? Is treating you well forbidden? I'm just doing what a wife should do. You would have done the same if this accident had happened to me, right?!" cecar Ann gaiety. Tipping down Daren made his guilt piqued.
Kian no longer reply, discussing the contract always makes him and Ann argue. The last time even their fight was very great, Kian did not want to repeat the mistake again. He just wants Ann to be firm on her own feelings, if the attention is on Kian then forget Daren or vice versa.
"To be honest your treatment like this makes me Ge-er, Ann. I was afraid that I would drown in my own feelings" Kian said in the end. He can't lie anymore.
"That's why I want Bik Sri to stay here! I'm scared too, Kian!" as Ann was annoyed, a drop of tears suddenly dripped from her beautiful eyes. "I'm upset with my own feelings! The longer you've been with me the more scared I get. We shouldn't be like this. You should just refuse when Papa forced you to marry me!!"
Kian. So Ann also felt the same fear as her? When those feelings of love begin to grow, why should they still be afraid? Is a man like Kian really inappropriate for a woman like Ann? Does he have to be like Daren in order to be with her? He breathed in frustration. He no longer had the taste to continue his lunch.
"And now Papa is forcing us to have children if I want my name to be the only heir! You think I'm not stressed thinking about that?! I'm scared!" ann growled while moving the plate on her lap to the table.
"Sorry, Ann."
"You think that by apologizing, everything will change? Nope! You ruined my life by accepting this marriage. And now I have to endure to not fall for you until such an indeterminate time, it's heavy!!" Ann's tears poured down her smooth cheeks.
He raised his left hand and wiped the tears with an injured heart. "Then do you want me, Ann?"
Ann shook her head in annoyance, it was too late to do anything. They are both trapped in this marriage! Cannot move back or forward.
"Can't you learn to love me, Ann?" Gets Ann's clenched hand. "Is it that hard to try to accept me as your husband?
