A glass of warm lemon tea, a plate of traditional fried rice and a beef-eye egg, Kian smiled in satisfaction. He turned on the tivi and put his foot on the table. The very aroma Kian longed for instantly filled his senses. The amygdala in her brain responds by rolling back the memory when Grandma Sofia often cooks this fried rice every breakfast before leaving for school.
Tting.
Kian gasp. He stopped lifting his spoon and turned his head quickly towards the elevator. The elevator doors were open, but no one came out. He frowned confusedly. He lowered his leg and put the fried rice plate back on the table. With wide steps, Kian walked to the elevator.
"Ann?" hiss Kian was confused as he saw Ann sitting in the elevator hugging her knees with her head down.
Ann looked up as she felt a large tall figure standing in front of the elevator door. Tears welling up in her eyes made Ann blur. Ann's body collapsed in a matter of seconds. It was all dark for a moment.
Kian who realized something bad was happening to the woman suddenly ran over and held Ann's head which almost hit the elevator wall. Without waiting for long, Kian carried the tiny body in his carry and took it to the living room. Ann's body was so thin, Kian could only feel the bones as he carried them.
Carefully, Kian put Ann to bed on the sofa chair. He pulled the couch cushion and slipped it under Ann's head slowly. The fragrant aroma of Ann's hair suddenly came out and made Kian bristle for a moment. Sweet and exciting vanilla fragrance. Eyes that are closed with pliable eyelashes, thin red lips that tease.
Plaque!
Kian smacked his own cheek to regain his consciousness. No, he can't falter!
"Ann!" call Kian softly while patting the woman's cheek slowly to wake her up.
When Ann did not respond, Kian ran to the room to get eucalyptus oil and cotton. He began to panic and did not care about the hunger he had been feeling. What happened to Ann so she could go back home in this state of shock?
Go back to the couch and sit down next to Ann. With great care, Kian brought the cotton he had spiked the eucalyptus oil into Ann's nose. Several times Kian put the cotton near Ann's nose and then slowly the woman's head began to move.
Ann smelled a very pungent scent and she hated to cross her nose. A flash of flash of light barged in greeting her retinas as Ann opened her eyes.
When her consciousness returned, Ann saw Kian sitting next to the sofa looking at her worriedly. A smile of relief rose from the man's face as soon as Ann opened her eyes.
"Why you?" kian asked as Ann raised her left hand and massaged her forehead which still felt a little dizzy.
"It's okay!" sahut Ann ketus's.
He shuffled up slowly, and the reflexes helped hold Ann's weight until she could sit on the couch.
Kian finally sat down next to Ann and watched her worry. "We're going to the hospital, huh?"
Ann turned her head Quickly, Kian's extremely shady gaze probing every centimeter of her body. It was as if the man was worried about her.
"No need. I'm fine," Ann refused and threw away her face.
Her gaze stopped at the table, a plate of fried rice and an egg of beef eyes made Ann swallow her saliva.
More and more who realize Ann is fixated on watching her fried rice with ***** then bend down and take the plate.
"Come, Aaaaa ...." He opened his mouth wide to set an example.
Ann was stunned to not believe what Kian had just done, but somehow she complied as the man fed her a spoonful of fried rice.
The savory and delicious taste spoiled Ann's tongue as she chewed on the simple fried rice. Ann quickly swallowed it and prepared to take another bribe from Kian.
Unknowingly a smile fell on Kian's face when he saw Ann so greedily eating his fried rice, until finally the plate was clean because all the contents landed smoothly on the stomach of his tiny wife.
Kian also put the plate on the table and took a glass filled with lemon tea and handed it to Ann.
"Thank you" said Ann Lirih, receiving the glass from Kian's hand.
Occasionally while sipping lemon tea, Ann glanced at Kian who was still at home staring at her earlier. Not even a hint of trembling even though Ann was looking back at her expressionlessly.
"Have you improved?" ask Kian at last.
Ann nodded, she did not dare to look at him anymore because Kian's gaze must still be on him. Though obviously a few hours earlier that gaze was full of hatred towards Ann.
"'I'm sorry, I yelled at you this morning."
Ann did not reply, but Kian's voice sounded very sincere.
"Next time it won't happen again. Sorry," pinta Kian regretted. He's never been out of control like that before.
"You still want to go?" tanya Ann ventured to look at Kian who was sitting sideways next to her.
"Go? Where to?" I asked back confused.
Ann rolled her eyeballs and exhaled quickly. He pulled something from his bag on the table. Air-flight ticket.
I only found out after Ann gave her the ticket. He shook his head and returned the ticket to Ann.
"No. You just go. While I'll hide in my old rented as long as you—"
"Let's go!" Ann stared fixedly at Kian. "Two!"
