(NON) PRETEND HUSBAND
A Little Story About Me

Not up to an hour drive, they arrived at Jungmun Beach. Ann wore sunglasses and a beach hat to avoid sun exposure. Ann doesn't like heat, she hates UV light. Although the heat is not so stinging, but as much as possible Ann avoids it.

Kian chose to take off his pants and only memgenakan boxer pants. He didn't bring a change of clothes. Playing on the beach is not afdol if not wet.

"Hey, Kian. Wait!" ann shouted as Kian had already walked far ahead of her.

Lukas and Gilang followed their master by running. Moreover, the road to the declining beach made the two men more excited.

Turqois blue sea water visible from a distance. I can't wait to play the waves soon. It has been decades since the last time I played on the beach.

"Kian!!"

He looked back and noticed Ann walking quickly towards him. Luke and Gilang followed quite far.

"Come, spit!" kian shouted impatiently as he waved his hand.

Ann snorted between her breaths rising and falling. Instead of waiting, it just goes faster.

The clean stretch of beach sand makes Ann finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Several tourists seemed to meet the beach near the gate. Ann squinted her eyes looking for Kian among the pile of humans.

"Ann!!" Waving his hands in the distance.

Ann found the man who is now her husband was far enough away at the end of the beach. But the atmosphere there was quiet not as crowded near the gate.

"Yes, yeah, yeah, all right beach boy! Enjoy your time having fun!" sumpul Ann while going down to the sand to approach Kian.

After struggling against the weight of walking on the sand, Ann finally arrived at the place where Kian was enjoying the scenery. Lukas and Gilang were lying quite far away from the two of them. Ann chuckles to see Luke, who is no longer young, looks exhausted and lays himself in the sand.

"Look, Ann. The sea and sky seemed to be fused together!" He pointed to the middle of the sea.

Ann sat down next to him and followed Kian's line of sight. Is correct. All this time he never realized it.

"Like there is no difference between the high and the low," continued Kian lirih.

The words made Ann stunned. The high and the low?

"Are you insinuating me?"

Laughing and shaking quickly. "Do you feel shunned?"

Ann grunts. "Of course not!"

"Yes already. Why are you asking?"

Ann threw away her face, the beach breeze made her hat blow several times and loose. Finally Ann took off the hat because she was tired of holding it by the hand.

"But there is something even more beautiful. There's a place where you can see the mountains, the sea and the sky converge."

Kian nodded. "I used to live in that place with Grandma Sofia. Through childhood to my teens there."

"Aren't you from childhood already living in Jakarta?"

"I moved to Jakarta after graduating Junior High. Then work while at school. My childhood place is not far from Jakarta, on a very beautiful little island."

Ann is disturbed to hear Kian tell her about his past.

"I've been living together since I was a kid, Ann. It was only Grandma Sofia that I had back then. We went through a lot of likes and sorrows together, maybe even more suffering, anyway!" bright Kian while chuckling, his gaze was still straight ahead watching the waves coming and going.

"Where are your parents?"

"Go. Divorced and left me alone."

"So your parents are still alive? Why don't you invite them when we get married?"

"For what?"

"Yaaa, to see his son's party, lah!"

He smiled wryly. Party, huh? A hoax party that would end a year later.

"I don't know where they live. They are alive or they are gone. My parents were just Grandma Sofia, and now your Papa is growing" Kian explained.

Ann breathed in sadly. This time it was open about her identity.

"How did your parents suddenly come? Don't you miss them?"

Sighing in pain, his longing for his parents had changed into hate.

"No. Ordinary aja. There's no way they're gonna come after me, except to blackmail me, anyway!"

Ann was shocked to hear Kian's words.  "Do you have any other siblings besides Grandma Sofia?"

Kian shakes. He never knew who his father and mother were.

"Sofia's grandmother never told you?"

"Sofia's grandmother wasn't my biological grandmother, Ann."
