(NON) PRETEND HUSBAND
You're Changing

"Beb, you're beating me up, aren't you?" Daren pulls Ann's hand and kisses her.

Ann flinched, she turned to Daren who was looking at her occasionally. "Yes. I'm horrified, kok!"

Daren smiled with relief and gently stroked Ann's hair. He refocused on the steering wheel until the car drove out of the bustle of the city.

"Where are we going to eat?" ann was confused.

"There's a nice place I want to show you. We won't be here long!"

And the word 'no longer' turned out to be an hour and a half later. Ann almost fell asleep amid hunger when the European car pulled over at a restaurant on a hill. There were only forests around, and as they both arrived at night, the glittering lights under the mountain suddenly grabbed Ann's attention until she forgot her drowsiness.

"It's so beautiful" said Ann, still unable to take her eyes off.

Daren smiled with satisfaction when she saw her lover like the place she chose. I thought Ann would like it. Daren did so when he first arrived here for filming purposes.

"See, that's exactly what I said! You must love this place" Daren hugged Ann from behind.

Ann froze, he looked down and noticed Daren's hand coiling around his stomach. So long do not do the physical touch with Daren make Ann back clumsy when had to do it now.

"Daren, if anyone sees how!" ann whispered worried.

"Please, Beb. This restaurant is empty on Sunday. Look, cars rarely park, right!" Daren looked at the parking lot not far from the restaurant.

Ann took a nervous breath, Daren tightened her embrace. Moreover, the cold makes Daren need something warm, especially if not a hug?!

"I'm a laper, we'll eat, yuk!" pinta Ann shifted the mood.

Daren stretches out her arms and flips Ann's body to face her.

"You're changing, baby."

Ann frowning. "How do you change?"

Ann chuckled, she flicked her hands to cover up her grooves.

"Usually you like to be hugged the most, you like physical touch. But it seems like since marriage, you've been moving away."

"I'm not staying away from Daren. I'm just worried that someone's seen us!"

"Who! I don't care about my career anymore, Beb!"

"It's too late, Daren. There's a good name that I have to take care of now" Ann said.

"Whose name is good? The guy's good name, huh?" Daren looked at Ann fixedly.

"My father! And yes, of course the good name is also."

Daren smiled wryly, he grabbed his jacket. "It hasn't been a month since you got married, and you've started to melt into her?"

"Stop, Daren! None of this will happen if you agree to get married in the first place. It's just a victim. He's been kind enough to help me fulfill my ambitions!"

"See, even you're defending him now!"

"I'm not defending him. The truth is so. I'm not sure what my marriage would be like if the man I married wasn't Kian!"

Daren clenched her hand as the name was repeatedly mentioned by Ann. His teeth were full of anger.

"I've told you that your feelings will surely melt away when you stay home. And it turns out that what I said was true!" lirih Daren is heartbroken.

Ann exhaled her breath with puffiness. He was getting tired of this conversation. Daren will always blame him at any time.

"You don't want to eat, I want to go home!"
