Banker 69 (Part IV)

Why did things become like this? I even got confused myself due to the shock. Perseus was shot right in front of me. His blood had splashed into my face. Is this the dark side of mythological warfare. Forced to fight and kill each other just to kill a creature called OVERLORD.....Why not just work together to defeat him?

Kenji took Jihan with him who seemed to have stayed to shoot Perseus in the head. But looking at Jihan who seemed to be fine made me a little calmer. Kenji then told Jihan to come to me. Jihan came to me without asking and hugged me. Kenji passed me without caring about me. I turned towards Kenji who was walking towards the plane. We followed him from behind.

What makes Kenji like this? What happened to him before he met me? I firmly believe that the effect of the demonic flesh he ate was not the cause of his cruel and cold nature. There must be something I don't know about him. Something that closed his heart. After all, he was still the one who saved me. I had no right to protest against him and I decided to follow him wherever he went.

"Aren't you okay?" Said Jihan looking at me anxiously. I hold her hand tightly.

"No, it's okay. Did you sleep well earlier." I try to shift the topic. But I asked her for her sleep. Which human could still sleep amidst the noise from the fight earlier. But Jihan nodded.

"so yeah. It's good." I said looking at him with a smile.

"Why does my sister look like this? As far as I was concerned, I was wearing regular clothes." Jihan asked to look at me from the end of my hair to the end of my footwear. I'm still using a form of Perseus that I haven't deactivated. I also returned to my form.

"Ah, I forgot to take off that shape." I said. Jihan instead looked so happy when my appearance turned out to be able to change in the blink of an eye.

We also entered the cockpit. Smoke was still billowing in all directions but not as thick as earlier. Smoke from the Kenji grenade explosion. Although the structure of the cockpit was soft like flesh but nothing was destroyed in the slightest. Even the computer glass screens inside are not cracked in the slightest. Kenji headed for the biggest computer panel at the end. Kenji starts the computer with the help of Hazard.

"Don't touch anything here. This place is about 1 century old. There must have been some people before us who found this place and set up a trap. Don't let your guard down." Said Kenji whose eyes were still focused on the panel screen that finally came to life. We also did it without asking much questions.

I watched as Jihan was busy picking up something in Kenji's backpack next to her. I wanted to prevent it. I'm afraid Kenji is angry that Jihan ransacked his backpack. But before I made my move, Jihan found and pulled out what she was looking for in Kenji's backpack. A toy. A small bear-shaped statue that seems to be made of the same material as Kenji's revolver. Since when did he make it? I was no stranger when I saw him. The shape and color are the same as the zombie bear we fought earlier.

I waved my hand for Jihan to come closer. Jihan came closer to me.

"It's so beautiful." My compliments see the miniature bear.

"of course. When we stopped long enough down the aisle, Dad made it for me." Said Jihan. Like a spear to my heart. I was so surprised. As far as I was concerned, Jihan was so frightened when she saw him in the blink of an eye, Jihan thought of Kenji as her father just for making Jihan a miniature bear.

"What kind of magic did you plant on Jihan, Kenji!?" I'm reflexively snapping at Kenji. Not angry.

"What a magic, try. I just made him a toy. Jihan looks so fond of bears. That's why I made him a miniature bear." Said Kenji who was still focused on looking at the illuminated panel.

I just remembered. So that's why we stopped for 2 hours in the hallway. Kenji made this miniature bear very carefully. But I'm still pretty surprised that Kenji has an art soul as a cold-blooded. It is very detailed and even the same as the original. Suddenly my smile appeared.

Is this Kenji's good nature that was left before? Turns out he's pretty good. He was even willing to stop for a long time and set aside his goal just to make toys for small children.

In my dream I met Perseus who was next to him Tsukuyomi.

"You're finally starting to fill up, too." Tsukuyomi said with a smile. What does he mean by filled? Can he peek inside me when I.......

Why am I ashamed when I think about it?!

"I haven't been caught with Kenji yet!" I jerked reflexively. My face looks red

apples now. Tsukuyomi laughed.

"Why are you laughing?!" I said with shame.

"You'll understand later. Your face is red." Tsukuyomi pointed at my face that was definitely flushed red like a person who was overheating. Tsukuyomi really likes to make other people upset with him, suitable to be a provocateur.

I accidentally saw Perseus. I am so sorry for his death.

"Sorry." I finally said. Perseus was surprised to hear this and laughed. But just a little laugh. I knew he had no intention of mocking me.

"I am a man who has died once. Why are you even apologizing? Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for being killed by the guy who shot me." Perseus. Lah? Killed why even become happiness in itself? Not if the person who is given life for the second time should regret it.

"The mythological wars in this world have been going on for so long and shed so much blood and life. I finally stopped raising my spear. And I also didn't expect you to be the holy grail that the Faction 13 heroes had been looking for." Perseus.

"Wait first. You're from the 13-hero Faction?" My toot.

"We're from the Hero Faction 13. Holy Grail, may I ask for something?" Tsukuyomi Pinta. His face looked so solemn now but also with pleading.

"Will you end this mythological war?" Ask.

"My goal is to help Kenji as his holy grail. I can't promise you. If Kenji wants to stop this war then I will help him. But if it doesn't or doesn't even matter then I can't do it." I clearly. Instead of being angry, Tsukuyomi and Perseus smiled after hearing my explanation.

"It's okay. I hope that man can take good care of you until the end." - Tsukuyomi.

I finally woke up from that dream.
