Kenji 3 Months Ago (Part II)

Kenji was completely cornered with the 3 undead-headed sword tentacles. Every shot fired by Kenji always ends up being slashed by their tentacles.

They were getting closer to Kenji even though it was a slow walk.

"It's the same as throwing a bullet." Kenji said recharge the revolver. Kenji jumped and sailed back to perch on the tree. Kenji tried to aim again. This time Kenji's target is their crown piece.

Kenji shot 2 times in the direction of their crown and apparently managed to hit it even though it did not fall directly. Kenji shot him until the bullet ran out. Just when the bullet ran out, the zombie also fell. 2 More left.

When Kenji tries to reload, the two zombies very nimblely climb the trees around him using their tentacles like spider legs.

One of the tentacles from the zombie tried to slash at Kenji. With a reflex Kenji bit his revolver and then pulled the katana he kept from the sheath and slashed the tentacles into pieces. the other zombie is behind Kenji and tries to attack Kenji from behind using his two tentacles.

Kenji immediately used his Double Acceleration skill that allowed him to move to 2 times the maximum speed of a normal human to jump on a plane to avoid it.

The attack of the 2 tentacles only hit the branch of Kenji's footing tree earlier. Kenji who was still in the air shot the two tentacles upside down and hit them.2 The tentacles were destroyed.

"So yes." Kenji muttered landing on the body of the zombie that attacked him from the front. Kenji took the opportunity to thrust his katana into the zombie's neck and it managed to knock it down.

Kenji and the zombie corpse fell to the ground. Right after landing on the ground Kenji threw a flash bang towards the zombies that were behind him. A blinding explosion of light ensued. The other zombie also fell from a tree. Kenji tries to get close to the zombie to make sure.

"Their weakness is too bright a light. They also can not protect their crowns when the position is defensive. And when they attacked, their defense became very chaotic." Kenji muttered kicking the zombie corpse.

"Don't be cannibals. Very different from the one in the wheat library. In the book it is not explained that their heads can be turned into tentacles-causing as before." Kenji.

"Explorers don't get enough time to create an inseklopedia for them." Said Hazard.

"If they're here, they're usually in nests, too. Means there's a former-human settlement in this area." Said Hazard.

"All right then. Let's go over there." Kenji said sheathing the katana and refilling the revolver.

"For what? Find dead?" Ask Hazard.

"You said they used to be ex-human. They must have kept some books and journals in their homes when they were human. At least they keep some information that might be useful and that's worth trying." Kenji answered while examining the five cannibal corpses.

According to Kenji there was nothing to be taken from the items they brought. But Kenji finds a necklace with a strange symbol.

"Callong? What is this symbol?" Ask Kenji with a murmur.

"Stop it. You better take this one. It might be useful." Hazard gave me advice. Kenji put the necklace in his pants pocket and started walking on his way.

After walking for 10 minutes. Kenji heard the sound of water rushing. Kenji approached the sound center. Maybe there's a river around here and that guess is true. There is a river wide enough and quite heavy water.

"You better take the river. Usually a settlement is built near a river." Said Hazard.

Soon Kenji saw a settlement in the form of a village near the river. But near the river Kenji also found some cannibals fishing and put nets in the river. There are 1 cannibal on each side of the river.

Kenji immediately looked for bushes to hide and sneaked closer to them.

"What are you planning?" Ask Hazard.

"Piercing them from behind." Answer Kenji pulled the handle of the katana.

Cannibals that are on the opposite side go. After being seen far enough and that's when Kenji in action. Kenji quickly cut off the cannibal's head from behind and thrust his katana into the cut throat like sheathing his sword.

That Kenji did in order to prevent the tentacles coming out of the base of his neck. The cannibal's body was lying down and Kenji immediately hid his body into the bushes.

"Good night." Kenji said to the cannibal corpse then began to carefully walk to one side of the fortress from the settlement.

"Higher than I saw from far away. It's also too high to jump over" Kenji said, tracing his waist.

Kenji put down his giant bag and began to groan the contents of his bag. Kenji took out some kind of rope from his bag.

Kenji then collects some scattered pieces of steel and arranges them to form a grapple hook. Kenji tied the base of the grapple hook with his mooring rope.

After being fastened, Kenji twirled his grapple hook like a cowboy and threw it at the lip of the fort and managed to get caught. Kenji tries to pull the rope to make sure that the grapple hook is stuck firmly. Once it felt strong enough Kenji started climbing it and it was very difficult to use one hand.

Kenji arrived at the wooden fortress. Above are some cannibals carrying cross bow. Kenji kills the closest one in the same way as before. Kenji then checks around and it turns out to be quite safe. Kenji had time to roll back the rope and save his grapple hook into his backpack.

Kenji tried to look inside the fort. There was a small village inside. Although they are cannibals but their lives and activities are also almost the same as humans if there is no threat.

"Whoi, Kenji. Take a look down near the old church." Kenji. Kenji immediately glanced over there.

Near the church there is a cross where on the cross there is a corpse like that of the Wheat exploration team that usually supports other world heroes. And under his cross there were many bodies that had uniforms similar to those crucified. If total there is likely to be about 1 battalion.

From the church door came a strangely dressed man wearing a purple coat with the same emblem on his back as the symbol on the necklace that Kenji was carrying and was followed and watched a lot cannibals are there. They were cheering with strange language.
