The Devil's Settlement (Part IV)

Morning arrived, the sunlight that was still warm illuminated the village and forest. The light shone onto Tsukuyomi's face gently from where she lay. The bonfire they made last night was left with only a charred wood with a little bit of embers on its surface.

Slowly Tsukuyomi opened her eyes. Tsukuyomi is awake. Still half conscious Tsukuyomi woke up. Nearby is Kenji who is still busy caring for and dealing with loot in the village warehouse.

"You didn't wake me up to switch shift?" Ask Tsukuyomi after yawning.

"Oh morning Tsukuyomi. Being too excited about plundering I'm a forgetfulness." Said Kenji who did not even seem sleepy or even exhausted. Since Kenji evolved into a superhuman, his sleep hours have been drastically reduced.

From within the church 5 priests dressed in purple robes and hoods prayed in strange language.
