The First Mission of the Church

"I apologize for my slave acting disrespectfully towards you. I'm so sorry." Luke even bowed when apologizing. But somehow I was so annoyed at him because it was as if the attack was on purpose. Since Kenji has a super fast regeneration rate then I don't need to act any further.

"Enough the bases, pastor. I didn't come here to hear your apology. What do you want from us? And how did you know about us?" Kenji is without further ado. Luke even finished bowing still smiling after hearing Kenji's blunt words.

"Alright, but at least can we talk about it in a more comfortable place. Please." Luke drove us to a special room to receive guests. At first I was reluctant to obey her words but because Kenji was just plain ordinary then I was forced to follow him.

We sat in a room that looked like a living room. There is an oval-shaped table made of wood with floral motifs, and 2 red sofas facing between the tables. A black hood brought us 4 cups of tea with 1 medium-sized teapot and a cube-shaped container of sugar.

I had suspected that the tea served was poisonous but when Kenji and Jihan did not react to it, I drank it without fear of poisoning.

"Go to the point. I want you on the side of the Church. Of course there'll be a pay." Luke Pinta.

"Is it because I'm the rightful owner of the holy grail?" Ask Kenji without further ado.

"If it wasn't for that what else, a hero with an Avenger class?" Reply Luke.

"Do you know how far?" Kenji's tone of voice was as clear as threatening.

"Seeing from the way you fight, cooperate, and survive is also one of the reasons I want you. Especially when you fight Chariot earlier, during this mythological war there has been no human who can defeat the slave alone. While the troops of the Church Party are always reduced due to expeditions out of the fort. I don't want to lose any more members." Luke clearly. I don't know why this conversation is freaking me out a little. Where does he know about us.

"If you ask us to be part of the Church's organization, then I refuse. But..." Kenji's words were cut off.

"I want to help as long as I get paid." Kenji. Luke was a little surprised to hear that. I was so shocked to hear it.

"What do you want for pay?" Luke asked after sipping his tea.

"I only give 2 conditions. I just want to go back to my home world. That'sthat's all. So I want all the information you have in exchange for me helping you." Answer Kenji. Luke immediately smiled kindly even though he was always friendly.

"Terms both, don't touch them both. Because after all I'm the only one involved in this contract." Kenji.

"You are an interesting person. Unlike the other heroes who obey any order from the kingdom. Alright then, I accept both conditions." Said Luke.

"So what do you want me to do?" Ask Kenji directly to the point. Luke then takes out a map and thrusts it into Kenji.

"A small murder. You can see the details on that map." Kenji then opens the map and reads briefly. From the look on Kenji's face, there doesn't seem to be the slightest problem.

"All right, I'll take it." Kenji then put the papers back into his map and put them in his bag. We walked out of the church through the front door.

"I hope our contract can last a long time, Mr. Kenji." Luke bowed in greeting Kenji farewell. Kenji then just waved his hand and immediately put on his hood.

We also walked in the city crowd looking for a place to live first. Starting at night, we finally found an inn around the market area and mall. Looks like we won't have any trouble blending in a crowded place.

"I want to rent 1 room. How much?" Ask Kenji. The innkeeper was terrified at how big Kenji was.

"One day last night 7 pieces of green circuit." Replied the innkeeper with an eighth of fear. Kenji then gave the money a fitting.7 pieces of green circuit.

"This is sir, the key." the innkeeper gave us the room key.

We immediately searched for the room number corresponding to the hanger number contained in the key. We went in and put our things in the room. Kenji then opened the hood.

I was immediately sprawled on a very soft mattress in the room. Of course, I haven't slept in a bed since I left the Butum and started following Kenji.

Kenji stared out the window. Staring at the city crowds whose lights are still flickering. I also looked out the window. I saw the panels on the faces of the heroes on the big panels there.

"They're your friends, huh? Do you miss them?" My toot.

"I never thought they were my friends. After all, none of them were worried about me when it happened about 2 months ago." Kenji.

"Ah.I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked you that." I forgot that Kenji became like this because of one of them.

"But I miss one of them a little." Timpal Kenji soon. I remembered what Mr. Franko said. Kenji has a family relationship with one of the other heroes.

"Miss Miyuki huh?" I said slowly to make sure. Kenji just kept quiet. But since I've been with Kenji for a long time, I know his every behavior. Obviously silence means yes.

"The more you sleep. It's too late now." Kenji said away from the window and closed the curtain. I obeyed his orders because I was getting sleepy. But Kenji instead opened his backpack and seemed to start working on something.

"You're not sleeping?" I asked to start hugging Jihan who from the beginning entered the room was asleep when climbing this mattress.

"I'm not sleepy. sleep." Reply in brief.

This time the target was a big fish. Raizen Brook, one of the families of one of the members of the 13 Hero faction who is responsible for the development of weapons in the western area of Wheat. A troublesome man. By killing and retrieving all the data from it could increase the power for the Church Party. Unlike the Church Party which is a secret organization, the Hero Faction 13 is an organization that favors the kingdom. It seems that in this mythological war there will be two opposing camps.
