The Devil's Settlement (Part VI)

Kenji and Tsukuyomi approached the stone gate at the foot of the high-altitude hill in front of them. It turned out that the stone gate was much wider and taller than they had expected.

"Big as well." Muttered Kenji looking in detail at the giant stone gate.

"Either this was made by man or the nation of the devil. But putting that aside they still amaze me." Tsukuyomi said with a waistline.

Kenji took a good look at the symbols on the surface of the stone gate. Kenji tries to push her but doesn't want to open up.

Kenji then looked at each side of the gate.

"It's kind of like in the movies." Kenji.

Kenji then takes out a grenade and activates it by pulling his pin. Kenji then threw it at the gate. Tsukuyomi who was still busy looking beside the gate was surprised by the sound of the grenade explosion Kenji threw just now.

"Can you give me a warning if you want to throw a grenade?!!" Snap Tsukuyomi. Because Tsukuyomi uses Mai's body as her container, reminding her of Mai's behavior if Miyuki is being colonized.

Suddenly the ground shook like an earthquake. Kenji who already knew what was going to happen pulled out his revolver.

"Wrought?!" Tsukuyomi looked a little panicked. From within the forest to the right of the gate many birds flew away.

"No. Something more classic than that." Said Kenji who suddenly one giant monster hand was trying to squash him. Kenji reflexively bites his revolver and uses his only right hand to pull the collar of Tsukuyomi's clothes and jumps away to keep his distance.

From two sides the stone gates began to collapse. It turns out that behind the rocks on 2 sides of the gate there are 2 giant monsters that came out of the ruins.

The monster has a height if standing about 7 meters up horned like a buffalo, one-eyed, wearing a protective iron that protects the forearms and shin, has a lizard-like tail and spiked. It seems to belong to the category of type 6 demons.

"The monster?! From behind the ruins?!" Tsukuyomi surprised.

"Slightly amazed, multiply the action!" Kenji shouted at the monster on the right side but Kenji shot as if bounced because there was some kind of barrier around the monster. The barrier appeared right after the monster crossed both hands to the chest.

The monster then roars loudly and attacks Kenji and Tsukuyomi with a flick of its tail that tries to sweep them both away. Kenji and Tsukuyomi avoid him. The monster from the left side also helps attack by firing a concentration of manna from his eyes and then shooting it like a laser at Kenji and Tsukuyomi.

Tsukuyomi moves forward and fends off the manna laser and bounces it into the lake using his holy sword. Kenji tries to shoot the monster on the left side but the monster on the right side moves and dispels any Kenji bullets using his hands. Kenji's shot hit his hand protection.

The monster on the right side began to advance by pulling the trees on the right side of the gate and then he used it as a bat. Just before the slash from the monster Tsukuyomi cut the end of the hilt so that the blow from the monster did not hit them.

The monster then looked. Knowing he was already too far away from the gate, the monster jumped back. The monster on the left side shoots another laser manna at Kenji and Tsukuyomi again.

Tsukuyomi and Kenji are getting hit hard until they retreat to avoid the laser manna and just hit the empty land.

"Their combination is compact. But at a certain distance they won't attack us. Like at this distance." Tsukuyomi said by scratching the Kenji front land with the intention of giving a sign.

"Right-side monsters are experts in melee-medium combat and possess some sort of defensive magic. For a left-sided monster to have the ability to manipulate manna and shoot it through his eyes from afar in the form of a laser." Tsukuyomi.

Kenji then put down his stacking backpack and pulled the katana from the sheath.

"Our chance is only once. Follow me!" Cried Kenji who quickly ran away leaving Tsukuyomi behind.

"What?!" Sergeh Tsukuyomi while running after Kenji.

"What's woi's plan?!" Ask Tsukuyomi to be confused.

Kenji intends to fight the monster on the left side first. The monster on the left side tries to shoot at Kenji and Tsukuyomi with his laser eyes but all misses because it turns out Kenji runs very fast, can even exceed Tsukuyomi. Is it because of the effect of taking off her backpack that she has become so fast?, Tsukuyomi thought with a gasp.

The monster on the right side started to approach the two of them.

"Don't be lured! stay focused on the left!" Kenji Seru. Tsukuyomi believes and obeys Kenji's words. The right-sided monster tries to knock its tail towards them again but Kenji and Tsukuyomi manage to evade it.

They reached the foot of the monster on the left side. The monster was confused where the location of the 2 prey was because their movements were both very nimble and agile.

"Climp this monster!" Kenji went down the tail of the monster and started climbing through its back.

Once it's put on the monster's shoulders, that's where Kenji's crafty plan begins. Kenji shot his Revolver into the sky to invite the attention of the monster that was on the right side of the gate to turn towards Kenji.

The left-sided monster begins to realize that he has been climbed and begins to thrash to knock Kenji and Tsukuyomi out of his body. His laser eyes were activated so that it shot out in all directions. Kenji quickly took action by thrusting his katana into the back neck of the monster.

The monster became more and more in thrashing and firing lasers from its eyes.

"Put your sword against his neck as well!" Kenji Seru.

Tsukuyomi had a little trouble doing so because she was hanging from the thorns on the monster's back with one hand. But with a practical gesture, Tsukuyomi slashed one of the thorns on the monster's back and looked at it and hit the monster's neck right next to Kenji's katana.

Kenji also controls the monster with his katana stuck on the monster's neck as a bridle. Kenji thrust his katana deeper so that the monster shot lasers from his eyes in all directions.

The monster on the right side tried to calm his friend down but was in pain and controlled from behind, the left-sided monster accidentally shot its eye laser into the eyes of the monster on the right side and made the monster on the right side collapse and die.

Kenji also foothold on his katana and on the thorn that Tsukuyomi plugs in the monster's neck and then jumps and salto and activates Double Acceleration to jump over the monster's head.

With the entire world moving slowly, Kenji managed to fire a single bullet right at the left side monster's eyeball before his eyes spewed out lasers.

Kenji landed safely and disabled Double Acceleration. The left-sided monster collapses right behind Kenji and dies.
