We Defect

After walking for about 15 minutes we arrived at Luke's church. When we entered, Luke was already on one of the pews with his hands praying. Kenji and I sat on 3 benches behind Luke. It's at 4 Luke's.

"Hows it? You found what you were looking for?" Luke asked after he finished praying. But Kenji silently looked at Luke sharply. Kenji breathed out like an exhausted person.

"You're a sneaky, asshole priest. You intend to kill me indirectly through that olympus project huh? You know there's a deadly weapon like an artificial demon in there." Kenji said in a annoyed tone. Luke turned to face Kenji. Kenji then points his revolver at Luke but Luke remains calm.

"What are your plans if we let them out to the surface of the city? What exactly are you planning?" Ask Kenji. I started to get scared feeling the intimidation from Kenji. Luke responsibly clapped his small hands in praise.

"As expected of an otherworldly hero. You are very good at assessing situations. Because you've already taken my cover off. From the beginning we the church has intended to take the holy grail from you. But since you're too dangerous then we're using the middle way through our deal." Luke clearly.

"Make me killed in every "reward" you give me?" guess Kenji disconnected Luke's explanation.

"really. Due to the existence of a legitimate owner of the holy grail, a third party was created in this mythological war. That's you, Kenji. Someone who is supposed to act as a neutral person instead uses it for your own sake. We the church did not remain silent." Said Luke.

"More...." Luke said someone came from behind the door behind the altar. I was so shocked and angry to see it.

"JIHA-!!?" Before I finished my shout, Kenji silenced me with his hand. What is he thinking?!

"I have a prisoner here." Threat Luke. Kenji even still calm to see Jihan whose neck has been taped to the black key blade.

"We're bartering, Kenji. If you give me that holy grail, I'll release your little girl." Threat Luke.

"If I still don't give it up?" Ask Kenji.

"This girl is going to die." Said Luke. Jihan who heard it thrashed with tears on her cheeks. But Kenji's reaction confused me. Kenji laughed even more.

"Then what are you waiting for?! Kill her!!" Kenji yelled with a psychopathic face. I was so surprised by what Kenji said.

"Kenji! What are you!!?-" before I managed to gouge Kenji's throat. Suddenly someone fell from the ceiling and broke the roof of the church. Someone then swooped in and attacked Luke very quickly. The unprepared Luke even dodged the attack despite his cheeks being scratched. The man then kicked the head of one of the church members who held Jihan hostage so that it was thrown far away and hit the Altar very hard to be destroyed. Quickly the man also took Jihan away from Luke.

"Oh, I can't believe there are still 13 Hero Faction members who have human hearts to save the little girl." Luke was quite surprised to see someone trying to attack him earlier.

"Don't misunderstand me. I reacted only because of that damn guy. Have you forgotten me anyway, priest?" Hisao. Luke grinned as he glanced at Hisao.

"Yes, your face is the same as the one I made the tumbar to hold the soul of Vlad Dracula." What?!! Wait up?! So the ritual that Hisao was referring to back then was the slave summoning ritual? And his father was pulverized into a container of the spirit of Vlad legend?

Hisao turned his hands and feet into monsters and charged towards Luke very quickly. But Luke easily fends him off with the sword he hid under his cloak. They are also locked.

"Who cares too?" I didn't expect. If Luke can move that fast and agile. Hisao was easily made with only a few moves. Kenji, unwilling to lose the chance to kill Luke, pulls the trigger. Unexpected. Luke even fends off Kenji's bullets while facing Hisao.

Hisao who knew that he was within range of Kenji's scribe immediately brought Jihan to us.

"Sister, I'm scared!" Jihan hugged me very hard. Obviously he was very scared.

"If you want to shoot at least wait for me to get out of your range." Oceh Hisao's.

"Too long." Kenji said he shot Luke with the rest of the bullets. But Luke easily brushes off and fends off all the bullets Kenji shoots. Though the bullet can penetrate the defense of the canned man we fought earlier.

"You have a good sword." Kenji said recharge the revolver. Luke takes the opportunity to attack Kenji. Luke threw his 3 black keys at us. Hisao then protected us by capturing all the black keys Luke threw. Hisao then lunged at Luke again.

The battle between sword users with bare hands was extremely unbalanced. Hisao has more attacks than Luke. Hisao then went back to our place.

"Something's weird." Kenji.

"Yes, the movement is too good if it's a human benchmark." Typal Hisao was out of breath.

"Why? Don't you want to kill me?" Luke said to put up the horses. Without hesitation, Kenji lunges and attacks Luke. This time Kenji started using a katana given by Miss Miyuki. I wanted to help but was blocked with Luke's crocs.

"Good sword, Kenji. Let's see how good you are at using it." Luke said confidently. With ease, Luke breaks Kenji's defenses and kicks him into a church entrance. In the seconds Kenji's body is thrown, Hisao takes Kenji's revolver from its sheath. With no hesitation, Hisao fired Kenji's revolver at Luke.

And amazingly, Luke managed to slash all the bullets spewed out by the revolver. Not even his sword was destroyed in the slightest. Hisao ran to pick up one of the pews and threw it at Luke. Luke easily slashed the bench like cutting the paper into pieces. When Luke looked around he did not find Hisao.

"You see where, priest!!!" Hisao said right up in the air and was swooping towards Luke. Luke takes the position of the horses. Hisao had already concentrated all of his Manna into his right hand to hit Luke.

"You want to attack me directly. That can be." Said Luke.

"Don't be so confident!!" Jerky Hisao.

"It's for my mom and dad!!" Snapped Hisao once more.

Manna's tremendous energy explosion occurred due to Hisao's fist punch with Luke's saber that made the entire room crumble and fall apart.
