Underground 2 and a Half Years Ago (Part IV)

Where did the Guardians come from?! I didn't even feel their presence coming though and while the access to enter this room was only from the front door. I tried to run to get close to Kenji but Theresa pulled me using her magic chain.

"Let go of me, little witch!" I said trying to scorn and thrash.

"Calm down, Your Majesty. Let's see how your rightful owner fights. Whether he still deserves it or not to keep you." Theresa pulled me back to where I started. I would not want to have to obey him if not Theresa could have immediately killed me in the last place I stood on my feet.

Kenji turned his head towards each of the Guardians. Although the way he looked at her looked like a lazy person but I could feel her very high concentration in weighing up the decision to start moving.

The tattooed and masked man starts by throwing his knife at Kenji's feet, with Kenji's reflex jumping into the air 4 meters high to avoid the knife.

Just as Kenji was in the air there was already a sickle-haired white-haired woman quickly moving beside Kenji and ready to slash him. It turned out that the knife throw was just a bluff so that Kenji was in the air so it was almost impossible to avoid all kinds of attacks.

"Because of you!" The white-haired woman said confidently that her attack would hit Kenji. But I know how to fight Kenji. He will use whatever is around him as a weapon and open opportunities.

Kenji quickly pointed his gun at the white-haired woman and shot her in the head several times. the white-haired woman who was ready to slash her scythe horizontally by being forced to change the swing pattern of her weapon into a position to protect her face using the flattened blade of her sickle so that Kenji's shot hit the blade only.

Before landing on the ground, Kenji takes action by making the white-haired woman a foothold to stay away and keep her distance. Kenji is out and keeps his distance.

"Pour him with bullets!" I heard the orders from the tattooed man. The giant robot guardians, cat warriors, and the tattooed man simultaneously shot at Kenji mercilessly.

Kenji quickly made another shield from his left hand to protect himself. Their shooting grew longer and harder. Around the floor of Kenji's footing there are already a lot of bullets scattered and also traces of holes from missed bullets.

Just as the tattooed man and the cat were refilling their weapon magazine, Kenji peeked out from behind his shield and fired at their guns so that their weapons slipped out of their hands. The giant robot Guardians immediately launched 1 rocket towards Kenji and caused a sizable explosion. Thick billowing black smoke covered Kenji. I don't know if Kenji survived or not but I'm very worried about him. Even Jihan's expression was also in line with her worries.

"Did it work?" Ask the Guardian giant robot.

Has not yet received a response. From inside the black smoke from the explosion, out 3 cobra heads which if measured may be the diameter of the body as large as a well-limiting circle. Every head tried to bite and peg every Guardians.

"WAAAAAAGGGGH!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM ME, SCALES HEAD!!!!!" with great fear and surprise the cat soldier in a tight uniform jumped up and down while carrying his weapon to avoid the cobra snake benchmark. When I saw his silly behavior in avoiding the snake benchmark I almost laughed.

The white-haired woman immediately helped her cat friend. The white-haired woman very agilely climbed the body of the cobra and ran on it. The woman walked down the body of the snake to the head of the snake.

Women very easily cut off the head of the cobra using a giant scythe with a spinning motion like a top and then freefall from a height of 5 meters. The woman quickly hugged her cat companion and rolled away so as to avoid the head of the fallen cobra.

"Yes feel that! You deserve it, scaly eel!!!" Said the cat soldier by pointing his middle finger at the corpse of the cobra's head.

"Can you thank me first?" Asked the white-haired woman in a sarcastic tone.

"What about?" And plainly the cat asked back. The white-haired woman also gave a stern look towards the self-knowing cat.

"Friends!!!!!! Aaaagggh!!!! Help!!!!" Said the giant robot guardian whose body was wrapped around the body of the cobra snake.

One of his hands was still free, his hand then turned into a gatling gun and started shooting at the body of the cobra that was wrapped around him but had no effect. The entire bullet was made of rubber and plastic. The longer the cobra is wrapped around it, the harder it is to cause some damage to the robot.

Because it didn't work either, the Guardian robot pulled out a sword blade that if I saw the sparkle it must be very sharp. The robot then slashed the sword blade very hard into the body of the cobra that wrapped around it so that it could escape from the winding but the opposite happened. The blade of his sword was even broken in two because of the hardness of the snake scales.

"Hold on!" Said the tattooed man who very agilely climbed the body of the snake then ran down his body. The tattooed man finally reached his head. The man precisely shot the cobra in the eye, causing it to ache and release its twists. The tattooed man immediately came down by jumping and roaring back.

The robot guardian also fell and managed to be free from the winding of the snake.

"V, are you okay?" Ask the tattooed man to ask the robot guardian who has fallen on the floor.

"Well, that's obviously alive. But my system goes into freeze mode, man. I can't move anymore" V said.

"One lost, 3 more in the process." Said Kenji who finally appeared from the smoke from the explosion earlier.

Kenji then turned his head towards V with his flat face.

"That's the payoff for the rocket you fired earlier. You're lucky because it's just a suicide simulation." Kenji.

Kenji pulled the cobra back into his left hand.

The tattooed man unceremoniously shot Kenji with his gun. But his bullets bounced all in the empty air. From behind Kenji appeared a purple-colored magic circle.

"Medan magic defense huh?" Said the muscular man trying to be sure.

"Amit him! Attack him from both sides!" The white-haired woman said. The white-haired woman ran to Kenji's left side while the cat and the tattooed man ran to the right. They tried to flank Kenji and attack him from close range.

When already in the melee, the tattooed man and the white-haired woman slashed horizontally towards Kenji's neck with their respective sharp weapons.

With a split second suddenly the tattooed man, the cat soldier, and the white-haired woman were sprawled on the floor simultaneously. What the hell is going on?

"Hooo's... Great can also perform such maneuvering movements." Theresa said while clapping her small hands.

"what happened?" My toot.

"In the last few seconds Kenji shot Euphyllia in the leg and lowered his head to avoid the slash and swept Cole's leg to make him fall and shot Cole and Laser in the head just before their bodies hit the ground. it happened likely in less than 2 seconds." Theresa.

"Shooting at the head?! That means...!" I said in a panic that Kenji accidentally killed them both.

"Just calm down, it's because..." Said Theresa.

"Rubber bullet. You really want to see me seriously in a fight huh? The outcome?" Kenji asked to pull out the magazine from his gun and throw the gun on the floor.

"Well, you're sorry, I mean you're accepted as one of the Guardians. Welcome to the Underground." Said Theresa stretching out her hands as if she was welcoming.
