Meaning of Friendship

A friend is like a star, though not always visible, but he is always there for us.

Daniel, Dexter, and Selena appear to be familiarizing themselves with the cold drink they had previously ordered.

For a long time, Dexter tried to familiarize himself with others. For almost 7 years, he lived alone without wanting to know the problems of others, and now something strange he felt, yes close to others. Though Dexter's goal is not purely to befriend Daniel, Dexter wants to prove that his suspicions are correct so he can take steps.

"Sir Dexter, is it true you don't have any friends or friends?" Selena asked while drinking her Caramel Macchiato.

"No. There aren't. My time is up for work every day so I don't have time to be friends." Dexter answered with his eyes sweeping out the window. He realized how in a very long time he had only spent in solitude, busying himself with endless work while reminiscing about the figure of the woman he loved so much.

"Then, why now suddenly want to be friends with Daniel and me? Doesn't that feel weird." Said Selena wanting to know more about the intentions of a Dexter.

"I feel like you're both good people. I don't know, I just wanted to be friends with you guys. Didn't I ever say there's no special reason to be friends with someone." Dexter answered Selena.

"It takes time to judge someone well or not sir. Even for a long time. Often the good of the moment before our eyes, not necessarily for the time to come remains good." Sahut Selena while stirring her drink.

"What do you think Daniel, do you think we need a reason to be friends with someone?" Ask Dexter to Daniel.

Daniel who was just a listener, we started smiling and trying to answer Dexter's question.

"I believe for everything there is a reason Sir. So sometimes you need a reason why you want to be friends with us."

"Oh, so you two are compact huh?"

"Compaks? Compact why sir?" Selena asked Dexter with her eyes.

"Yes compact if you need a reason before making friends with the two of you. Hem?"

"If I were, I wouldn't want to be your friend. Our relationship is only superior and subordinate, sir. I will reject the friendship with my father. But you can be friends with Daniel, that's if Daniel agrees."

Daniel seemed to smile looking at Selena who remained tight with her stance to maintain the professional relationship of a superior and secretary.

"If I could be friends with Mr. Dexter. No problem for me." Daniel answered with a slight nod of his head.

"Okay, now we're friends, aren't we Daniel?"

"Yes sir, we're friends."

"But as a friend, you can just call me Dexter. Let Selena call me Father, for I am Father. Ahhaha..." Dexter laughed wanting to scoff at Selena a little.

"As for Mr. Aja. After all, Father is my boss so I still have to respect you." Selena's mouth is a little tart.

"Because Daniel was a good man, he always helped me." Said Selena softly while slightly stealing a glance towards Daniel who was sitting beside her.

"So I'm not a good person huh Selena?" Dexter asked with a look at Selena.

"Ah not so sir. Dad is good too. But my boss's father. So different context dong sir."

"You're too stiff, Selena. Didn't I say we are friends outside the office, if in the office we are working professionals, superiors and secretaries. After all, there are also many fellow staff who make friends. Some people have more relationships than friends." Dexter said at length with a facial expression that looks irritated with Selena.

"Already Mr. Dexter, just leave Selena. He's gonna need some time, sir. It's not good to impose our will on others, sir." Said Daniel who tried to mediate Dexter and Selena who seemed to find no meeting point. One wants to be friends, while Selena reluctantly befriends Dexter.

"Thank you, Dan." Selena thanked Daniel. For Selena, no one can understand her as well as Daniel. Therefore, slowly Selena put feelings for Daniel with his wise and kind nature of course.

"Eat the cake Selena. Don't just drink on, your stomach can be bloated." Daniel reminds Selena to eat the chocolate Mille Crepes cake he ordered.

"Ah, yes. I forgot about this cake." Selena took a small fork, cut it slightly and fed the small piece to her mouth. The cake is really good. Soft chocolate.

Daniel smiled amusedly at Selena who was eating the cake. The expression of a child getting a cake, that's what Selena's expression is. How adorable.

"There's a little chocolate on the corner of your lips, Selena." Daniel gave a tissue to Selena.

"Ah, really? Thanks And." Selena received the tissue and began to wipe every corner of her lips. "Why are you so considerate, Dan. Your attention to every little thing is what makes me put my heart on you." Selena muttered in her heart, and suddenly she was sad to remember how she felt unrequited.

Dexter, who was sitting in front of the two, observed the attitude of the two of them. Selena behaved like never before, even seemed embarrassed. Fixed, Dexter felt that the girl must have kept that feeling for Daniel. But, no matter how this was Dexter's goal approached them, he wanted to get an answer to every single thing that plagued his mind. So that in the future Dexter will not be rash when taking steps.

"Hem, so I'm being diced?" Dexter spoke while observing the unusual behavior of his secretary.

"What the hell is Mr. Dexter, I don't cuekin anyone here ya." Sahut Selena with a sullen tone.

"Hem, you're funny Selena." Dexter laughed and saw Selena.

"Aish, what the hell. Not funny either." Grouse Selena.

"I think Mr. Dexter and Selena are not suitable to be friends, because since then you cheque continuously like children who fight over candy." Daniel suddenly let out his voice and laughed. What a ridiculous sight to see two people working together, but never seem to get along.

"And...." Selena hit Daniel's arm sitting next to her.

"If you never get along, why work together and even become Mr. Dexter's secretary? Isn't that weird, funny at the same time?" Daniel asked while laughing at Selena.

"If the work is different, Dan. Must be professional, the task is also completed according to the deadline given. So, yeah it doesn't matter." Selena answered while looking at Dexter.
