Daniel and Dexter

This morning, Daniel drove Selena back to work. Even though, the relationship between the two is not good enough as usual, but Daniel still helps Selena as much as possible, including the business of leaving and going to the office, Daniel is always on standby to take and pick up Selena.

"Later home in the afternoon like normal hours, right?" Daniel asked as Selena got out of the car.

"Yes, 5pm as usual. Why Dan? I can also go home by myself, you don't have to drop me off and pick me up every day." Reply Selena while looking at Daniel a little.

"Can I ask for help?" Ask Daniel.

"Yes, I can..."

"You can tell Dexter that after work, I want to talk to him. And, for that you can go home alone tonight?" Dexter asked even if he had doubts about his decision today. Really, he didn't calm down letting Selena come home from work on a city bus, but he had something important to discuss with Dexter.

"OK fine... I'll tell Mr. Dexter later. It doesn't matter if I go home by myself. Don't worry, 'cause I can go home by myself, Dan." Say it while giving a smile.

After that, Selena rushed into her company office and she met the Princess, while waiting for the elevator.

"Hi Put, how are you?" Greet Selena with her friendliness.

"Hi, you're here. Well dong certainly. Lunch with yuk, in the cafeteria. I want it with you." Take the Princess to Selena.

"Yes can... It's noon."

The two then separated, Putri worked in the Financial Division on the 5th floor, while Selena became Dexter's secretary on the 7th floor.

Upon arrival at her desk, Selena made sure of what was reported today. While waiting for Dexter, because of the message that Daniel gave earlier.

Not long after, Dexter finally arrived in his room. Selena immediately stood up and greeted Dexter.

"For Mr. Dexter..." Sapa Selena's.

"Yes, Morning..." Dexter.

"Sir, I'm sorry I got a message from Daniel for you. Later that afternoon after work, Daniel wants to talk to you if you can?" Said Selena with a sigh, however Dexter is the superior so it is natural if Selena paled.

"Okay, just tell Daniel to meet me at that old cafe. At 5 after work hours, I'll be there."

"Good Sir. I'll tell Daniel."

"Oh, yes. Are you with Selena?" Ask Dexter to make sure.

"No Sir. Daniel said he wanted to have a serious conversation with Mr. Dexter."

Hearing Selena's words, Dexter also seemed a little suspicious. Usually Daniel and Selena are like two people who cannot be separated. But this time Daniel wanted to see him alone.

"OK on good." Dexter went into his room.

At exactly 5pm Daniel waited for Dexter's arrival at the promised place. Daniel was a punctual man, better to wait, than he was waiting.

After waiting for about 10 minutes, Dexter finally arrived. The man immediately took his place in front of Daniel.

"Hi Daniel, how are you? Tumben you want to talk to me. Not as usual, right?" Say hello to Dexter while smiling at Daniel.

"I'm good Mr. Dexter. Thank you for coming here. Sorry to bother."

"Don't be too formal, we've agreed to be friends." Dexter reminds Daniel not to have to talk to him formally.

"Ah, yes. Sorry, it's because I'm used to Selena always speaking formally with you." Daniel smiled, and even at a time like this, he was still thinking about Selena.

"So how? What do you want to say?" Dexter asked as he frowned, from this morning Dexter only felt that there was something strange between Daniel and Selena.

Daniel took a slow breath. "It's actually like this." Pause for a moment. "Do you believe that an angel can descend into the human world?" Daniel asked for his talk.

Dexter seemed to smile, he remembered that a few years ago, Selena also asked the same question.

"Why indeed? Isn't everything under this sky possible." Answer Dexter. "After all, if that's what's meant, isn't it going to happen?"

"Then, what if a human fell in love with an angel?" Daniel asked Dexter.

Dexter rubbed his face slowly. "It is also possible, because man was created with free will to choose and determine. While other creations cannot do so, because other creations are created without free will."

Daniel looked at the man before him, why was Dexter's reaction so ordinary. Dexter knew something he didn't know.

"If man is in contact with angels, are there consequences?" Ask Daniel slowly.

"If only limited to following the rules that have been determined by the Above, there will certainly be no consequences, but if you violate the provisions there are certainly consequences. Why Dan? Are you related to an angel?" Dexter asks who appears to be investigating and looking for the truth in Daniel's face.

"Hmm, actually... Look, I connected with a girl by accident, I did come to look after the girl. But one time the girl said she liked me. I immediately rejected it. I don't want that girl to misinterpret my kindness. But the more I came, the more sad the girl felt, the more sad I was. If the girl is sick, I am the one who is sicker. However, if the girl is happy, I am also very happy to see a smile on her face. I don't know what this feeling is. However, there must be a deep abyss. No, it's even very deep for me and the girl. Dexter tries to understand what Daniel is saying. In his mind, Dexter suspects that the girl Daniel is telling him is Selena, but he won't say it blatantly.

"Why don't you try to stand next to the girl not as her guard, but as the man the girl loves?"

"If only I could, I just wouldn't let anyone down. Moreover, the safety of the girl would definitely be at stake. So, I did refuse him to make sure that he would be fine. That's how I look after her." Daniel answered with a face full of despair.
