Another Woman Belongs to My Husband

Another Woman Belongs to My Husband
Chapters 20. The longing?

Until two in the morning Adelia was still struggling with dirty laundry. The woman had just finished the second stack, of the three that were separated by her. Adelia's hand was very painful. However, he must not just stop, because Ratna will definitely be angry.

"Oh my God, Mom!" Aminah and Lastri, two of Ratna's domestic assistants suddenly come to the laundry room to meet Adelia. The two of them were actually worried as soon as they found out that Adelia had been instructed by Ratna to manually wash all her clothes and large cloths. As a result, they agreed to wake up early to help Adelia without the knowledge of the house.

"Well, what are you doing here? You guys aren't sleeping?" ask Adelia to be astonished. He did not care at all about the clothes that had been soaked by the laundry water.

"We want to help Mom get the laundry done. Go, Las!" Aminah.

"Nggeh, Ma'am," Pastri replied with a thick jaw-dropping accent.

"Eh, no need Aminah, Lastri. I can do it myself. Have you guys just slept, later if it is found out the big mother can be bad!" sergeant Adelia gave a warning. However, the two housekeepers refused to listen. As if they understood what the tasks were, they immediately took the dirty clothes and brought them to the sink.

Adelia again forbids, but the two young women insist on doing so to make Adelia inevitably have to give in.

"Thank you, Aminah, Lastri" Adelia said in a trembling voice.

"Together, ma'am," they answered in unison.

Adelia, Aminah, and Lastri compactly stared at the three sunrooms that were already filled with satisfied gazes. Thanks to the help of Aminah and Lastri, Adelia was able to finish the last wash in an hour.

"Thank you once again, Aminah, Lastri" Adelia said sincerely.

"Switch, Mom, now I'm resting? We say goodbye first," said Lastri who was immediately followed by Aminah. The two household assistants then tidied up the three of them's eating marks. On the sidelines of the job, Lastri made three bowls of instant noodles to fill the hungry stomach, and specifically for the employer, Lastri added two chicken eggs so that Adelia could be more powerful.

After Aminah and Lastri left, Adelia went to her own room to change clothes. However, the woman's eyes suddenly met a glance with Vishnu who had just come out of his room.

...**********...

Intan again grumbled when the noisy voices again disturbed his deep sleep. "Mas, can you be quiet, no? I can't sleep!" sukan Intan growled.

Vishnu who is now sitting in bed rubbed his hair in frustration. "Darling, you can make me a cup of warm tea" Vishnu gently pinta.

Intan who was sleeping behind him remained silent. Without turning around, he answered. "Mas don't see, I need a break because I'm pregnant? It's better to do it yourself, it's not hard!"

Vishnu breathed a heavy sigh. Since long ago Intan was difficult to ask for help, even though he knew that Vishnu had a bad habit of waking up in the middle of the night. The only woman who can understand her is Adelia. After anything, he would always wake up to make a cup of warm tea or lemonade water in order to fall back asleep. However, what to say, the woman who was beside him at this moment was not Adelia.

Vishnu was pensive, his mind suddenly fixated on the figure of Adelia. Could it be that she misses the woman, or just simply thinks Adelia is more useful than Intan? I don't know.

...**********...

"Mas, need something?"

Vishnu who had just closed the door of his room was suddenly startled by the voice of the woman who had filled his mind. Who else if not Adelia?

Vishnu turned his eyes to the woman and suddenly put on a strange face, when he realized Adelia's chaotic appearance from head to toe.

Because, almost all of Adelia's clothes are wet and limp. His hair was even falling apart. The only thing dry in Vishnu's eyes was a shabby sweater that he believed did not belong to Adelia.

"Would you make some warm tea or lemonade?" Adelia asked again, as if unaware of the strange gaze that Vishnu showed.

Vishnu paused for a moment and nodded slowly.

A thin smile then rose from Adelia's beautiful face. Although a look of fatigue was etched there, Adelia tried not to show it. "Just wait in the room, let me make it," said Adelia kindly.

The woman then went down to the first floor towards the kitchen. However, Vishnu followed him.

"Mas in the room, let me take you to kamas Mas later," said the woman.

"Why are you wet like this?" Instead of answering the question of the old wife, Vishnu asked back.

Adelia mutts grimacing. "Ah, here, I just finished washing." The answer.

"Washing this clock?" ask Vishnu again.

Adelia nodded. "So I was at my mom's house until night, forgetting that there was dirty laundry. So, to dry tomorrow morning, I wash it immediately" Adelia said. Somehow he prefers to hide the facts, but at most Vishnu will know it too.

Vishnu certainly will not worry about Adelia's condition due to Ratna's treatment of her, he just wants to be curious about what Adelia has done at this hour.

A glass of warm ginger tea is finished. Adelia gave the tea to Vishnu.

"Drink while warm."

Vishnu did not answer. However, his hand immediately grabbed the teacup, before finally blowing and sipping it.

Vishnu's uncomfortable feeling was lost instantly, his heart beat that felt pain now changed with a sense of comfort and calm.

Adelia, who was now sitting right in front of Vishnu, offered some of the ginger candy she had to Vishnu. For a while the two continued to be there without a sound.

Only the occasional look of the man's eyes was on his wife's face.

In her heart, Adelia felt very happy because she could have time alone with Vishnu, even if just accompany her to drink tea.

This is the moment that Adelia is always looking forward to. Without quarrel. A rare moment between the two of them, especially after the presence of Intan in their household.

After nearly fifteen minutes there, ginger tea made by Adelia was finally unceremonious toilet. Adelia deftly re-cleansed the kitchen and dining table before leaving.

"Thank you" said Vishnu at last.

Adelia nodded her head. "Sama-sama, Mas," he replied. When Adelia was about to turn around leaving Vishnu, the woman turned around again.

"Don't forget to apply eucalyptus oil on the soles of Mas's feet, so that Mas can sleep soundly." After saying so, Adelia decided to go to her own room.
