Chapter 39. Surprising meeting.

Adelia was stunned when she read once again the piece of name on a white piece of paper from a cooperation proposal that had just arrived.

The fur of his neck was suddenly bristling, even though what appeared before him at this time was only a name.

Mixed feelings make Adelia almost squeeze the paper, if not immediately given the professionalism of the work she upholds. In one breath Adelia stood up from her seat and started walking towards Alex's room which was only a few steps away.

"Lake in!" tell Alex to hear Adelia's voice.

Adelia with heavy steps approached Alex and placed the map on the man's table.

"This is sir, the proposal that you asked for earlier," Adelia said in a barely audible voice.

"Ok, thank you," Alex replied without taking his eyes off the laptop. He seemed busy doing something there.

Hearing Alex's words, Adelia did not leave immediately. The woman just silently stared as she continued to stare at the map tabpa voice

Realizing the presence of Adelia who was still there, Alex finally took his eyes off the laptop. "What's up, Del?" ask Alex.

Adelia paused for a moment, trying to organize every word that would slip from her mouth. "Sorry, sir, I was just wondering, are you going to enter into a contract with that company?" ask Adelia.

"Of course, that's right, your father-in-law's company" Alex replied. As you know, Alex and Hariadi know each other. They also had a collaboration at a branch office run by Hariadi here. However, it seems like he wants to develop the contract.

A second after Alex said that, the man looked shocked. She forgets that the head office is managed by Vishnu, Adelia's husband.

Although Hariadi or Adelia did not talk about personal things, but Alex knew enough and could guess that something was wrong with Adelia. For how can a wife leave home and settle in this place alone, with the help of her father-in-law.

"Ahh, I understand what you are worried about" Alex said with an unkind look.

"I mean Father?"

"I'd better reject this proposal. What say?" Instead of answering, Alex throws Adelia a question.

Adelia of course was caught hearing it. How deep does Alex know that?

After all, how could Alex easily refuse such a multibillion-dollar cooperation contract just because of an Adelia?

"Don't, Sir!" about Adelia firmly.

"Loh, why? I don't want anything uncomfortable to happen to you and to myself."

Adelia frowned when she heard Alex's ambiguous words. However, he chose to be quiet and not question it further.

Alex was silent looking at Adelia, until finally a sigh came out of her mouth. "Alright, schedule a meeting with them in two days."

Adelia's heartbeat rumbled for a moment. As much as possible, he tried to be professional as a secretary. "Okay, sir, I'll get everything ready" the woman replied.

Two days later.

"Welcome to my company, Mr. Vishnu." Alex humbly welcomes the arrival of Vishnu in one of the VIP meeting rooms that Adelia has prepared.

Alex also deliberately asks Adelia not to appear first to meet Vishnu.

"Thank you for your response to the proposal I submitted, Mr. Alex." Vishnu shook Alex's friendly hand. The man sat directly across from Alex and began to mince words for a moment, before finally talking about their cooperation contract.

Vishnu who wants to develop his business in the automotive sector asked Alex for help to hold parts for his company. Not only that, Vishnu also intends to build a large factory under the auspices of Alex's company.

Hearing Vishnu's explanation, Alex nodded his head several times.

This guy is ambitious! Inner Alex. He also showed some maps to Vishnu.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard. A woman entered the room carrying a tray of tea and a few snacks.

"Your drink, sir." The woman bowed right in front of Vishnu who was busy reading

Upon hearing a familiar voice, Vishnu raised his head.

How surprised the man's face, when he found a woman who was very familiar to him appeared there. The woman he had been looking for, and the woman he had longed for secretly.

Adelia turned her gaze towards Vishnu and nodded politely, as if not recognizing him.

"Ahh, Mr. Vishnu, this is my secretary, Adelia," Alex said later. "Del, it's Mr. Vishnu who will cooperate with our office." The man then turned to Adelia.

Hearing the name Adelia called, Vishnu's face suddenly pale.

What the hell is going on? Why is Adelia here? And, why did the woman not seem surprised by his presence? Is she really Adelia, the wife who left the house a few weeks ago?

"Sir, please drink it" Adelia said with a smile.

Vishnu's heart suddenly rumbled. That smile was a smile that Adelia would never forget. The woman was really his wife.
