Chapter 49. Celebrating the new life.

It took Adelia two days to bring back the joy on her face after weeping over the bitter life she had once lived. Now Adelia is determined to live a new life more happily, despite having to bear the title of widow.

"Beautiful!" adelia murmured as she opened the window of her room that was directly facing the sea. After checking and tidying his suitcase, he cleaned himself.

The phone rang shortly after the woman changed clothes.

"Have you arrived?" alex said without further ado as Adelia picked up her phone.

"Already sir, just now. What's up, sir? Did something happen at the office?" ask Adelia worriedly.

"Nothing!" answer Alex briefly.

"Then?" ask Adelia again.

Alex did not answer. "Open the door to your room!"

Hearing Alex's words, Adelia suddenly frowned. "I mean Father?" the woman asked not to understand.

"Open up and get out!" tell Alex to disconnect the phone.

Adelia who was confused by the strange words of the superior, finally chose to obey. He walked to the door and opened it. After standing in the doorway and turning to the left, his eyes caught the figure of Alex standing right in the inn room next to him.

"Why did you come here? Stalking me yes!" tuding Adelia with bulging eyes.

Alex jerks. "Don't be so reckless! I also need a vacation and I just happen to want to come here when you ask for a leave of absence!"

Adelia without bothering to relax the look on her face walked up to Alex. "Mother can't lie! You're stalking me, right?"

Gaining a look of intimidation from the woman, Alex finally relented. Continuing to maintain his cold countenance, the man said, "i'm just afraid, you're desperate and chose bvnuh dirri. Therefore, in order to prevent something bad from happening to you, I better keep an eye on you."

"Why would I do such a thing, sir! I feel so free and happy. You know, I've told you that this holiday I take in addition to calming down, also to celebrate my new status."

"What about work in the office? So how's Mr Steve?" ask Adelia.

Alex raised his head. "You don't have to think about the problem. Just enjoy this vacation without asking too many questions about the office."

"How can I calm down without thinking about it if you yourself are here!"

Alex, who was just about to put his food back in his mouth, put down his spoon instead. "Everything is safe to control. I asked someone else to replace me temporarily. Pleased!"
