Chapters 37. Alex's Attitude.

Adelia had just finished cleaning her desk from a pile of files. Today he asked Alex for permission to go home early, as his father, mother, brother and nephew would come to the house.

This was their first visit after Adelia moved in and settled there. The woman had deliberately asked them to wait long enough so as not to sniff out Vishnu's suspicions that sometimes still like to come to the house or tell someone to watch over them, before finally Arwan and Dinda hit Vishnu's men blatantly.

"Sir, I'll excuse you. All the reports I've been working on and have been sent to your email, and I've also called the cleaning service to come to your house later in the afternoon" said Adelia from Alex's doorstep.

Alex nodded his head and then closed his laptop. He also tidied up his desk from some stuff and started to stand up from the sofa.

"Where are you going?" adelia asked as she found Alex moving from her desk to the exit where she was standing.

"Come on!" alex exclaimed as he walked past Adelia who was even dumbstruck on the spot.

Realizing that the boss is leaving, Adelia rushes after him. "Sir, I have to go home! Yesterday, right, I told you Mr. .. and today you're not scheduled to go out." While speaking, Adelia checked back on Alex's schedule on her tablet. Fear if he misread the schedule. But that didn't happen. The schedule of the man was all right.

"Sir! Where are you going?" With a slight raise of her voice, Adelia called out to Alex who was now stopping in front of the elevator.

"Ck, you want to go home, right? Yes, come on, I'm taking you!" exclaim Alex irritated. The man who really likes the calmness, lately looks always upset because of the noise of Adelia who always babbles about this and that, especially office affairs.

Yes, when compared with the previous secretary, Adelia is indeed a woman who is very perfectionist in working and managing her schedule. I don't know, maybe because he wants to give the impression of either as a new employee or indeed that is the war. However, for some reason behind the rant, Alex felt comfort.

"Sir, I don't need to be delivered. I can go home by myself!" adelia said as soon as she heard Alex's answer.

Alex, however, seemed reluctant to listen. It was evident from finding the man pretending to play his phone.

As the elevator opened, the man quickly picked up Adelia's bag and got into the elevator.

"Sir, my bag!" Adelia tried to grab her bag while getting into the elevator. They had a heated argument about Alex's offer to take him home.

"You didn't want to use my credit card to shop for your family, and now you're also refusing to come home together!" said Alex.

Adelia exhaled her breath. The woman did not not not understand the attitude and gestures that Alex showed her, because, however, she was a woman who had been in a relationship with a man.

That is why there are times when Adelia shows her uncomfortable attitude to Alex, so that the man can keep his distance. But it turns out it's not that easy. The more Adelia moves away, the closer Alex gets, but the man knows that Adelia is not a single woman.

Even their closeness had made employees suspicious.

"Sir, I beg you" said Adelia. "Please, don't do this. Office people can think things out, sir!" hatch later.

"Who dares to think of you, let me fire you later!" threaten Alex cold, which even makes Adelia squeak her temple strong.

Adelia and her family's first meeting after nearly two months apart was heartwarming. What's more, Adelia's departure was beset by quite heavy conflict. Naturally it would be if now Aini cried bitterly while tightly hugging the skinny body of the youngest princess.

"Adel misses, Mom," said Adelia Lirih who also cried.

Aini nodded her head while muttering softly. After being satisfied to hug the princess, the woman watched Adelia's body carefully.

"You're I'm thinking, son," said Aini worriedly.

"But I'm much healthier, ma'am," Adelia replied with a faint smile.

Aini nodded back. His eyes then turned to a tall man with a cross-sectional face who was standing not far from them.

"Who's that guy, son?" ask Aini.

As if realizing that she had almost forgotten Alex, Adelia introduced the man to her entire family.

"Secondly, sir, Ma, Ma'am, Mas, this is Mr. Alex, my boss at the office. He just happened to be going out and volunteering to come and pick her up" Adelia said in a cautious tone so that her entire family would not misunderstand.

Alex approached them. He humbly bowed his body while introducing himself.

"Greetings to Mr. Alex, hopefully my daughter won't trouble you." Arwan welcomed Alex's hand in a friendly manner.

Alex smiled faintly. "I am the one who troubles Adel more, Mr. .. and please, there is no need to call me that. It's just Alex," he said.

"All right, Alex boy," said Arwan.

"So much better" Alex said. The atmosphere suddenly melted with Alex involved in the conversation.

However, Dinda quietly whispered softly in Adelia's ear to be careful, because after all she was a married woman.

"Only a fool doesn't realize your boss's interest in you, Del."

"I know, Ma'am."
