Chapter 25. Hariadi Offers.

Adelia did not expect at all that her chat this morning with her beloved father-in-law was so heavy. The atmosphere of the morning was so soothing in the house stopover behind the house now feels very contrasted with his mood. Hariadi smiled knot. "As a child, you should have leaned on them. After all, your own father and mother had actually already sensed that something was wrong with your household. They're just waiting for you to talk in person, Del," Hariadi said in a calm manner.

Adelia gripped tightly at the edge of the wooden floor they were sitting on. The sound of old wood creaking was heard. "I'll think about it later, Pa. Thank you for working so far for me" said Adelia.

Hariadi grabbed the daughter-in-law's shoulder and rubbed her arm gently. "Papa just wants to make up for Papa's silence all along, Del."

The sound of someone's hand was heard. Adelia grimaces in pain as she feels the heat on her fragile back that just got a blow from her mother, Aini. Moments after their arrival, Dinda tells her everything, including the money she lent to Adelia for destroying Ratna's plant.
