Chapter 29. The unanimous determination of Adelia.

"Mrs Diamond and the baby are okay. However, he had to be treated for a few days here in order for us to monitor."

Hearing Doctor Kusuma's explanation, both Vishnu and Ratna exhaled a sigh of relief.

"Is my granddaughter really okay, doc?" ask Ratna again.

Doctor Kusuma smiled. "Yes, it's okay, ma'am. Thank goodness he was brought here immediately, so the things we fear need not happen."

"Thank you, Doc, thank you!" said Vishnu, before then the doctor resigned.

Vishnu then sat in front of Intan who seemed to be asleep. The man gently stroked the wife's distended stomach and kissed her hand.

"You scared me" he said softly.

"It's all because of Adelia!" chirps Ratna cynical. "What do you want, that woman? If she's jealous that Intan is pregnant with your child, she should be able to put more effort into dong!" hard continued.

Vishnu was silent, reluctant to respond to his mother's babble. All the man had in mind was now the safety of his baby and Intan himself. However, Ratna continued to babble by bringing up the little mistakes Adelia had made.

"That's it, tomorrow Mama will take care of your divorce! If this continues, it is not impossible that Mama's grandchildren will be back in danger!"

Hearing Ratna's last words, Vishnu turned his eyes to her mother. "Ma, this is my household, so let me decide anything!" his jolt.

Adelia shook her head. "I want to start a new life without the frills of Mas Vishnu." Adelia then looked at the father's face with a pushy look. "Pa, I'm sorry for not being able to be a good daughter-in-law. I'm not willing to let Papa go to be in-laws for others, but I also can't be treated like this. Thanks for everything, Pa?"

The tears rolled back down Adelia's cheeks.

Hariadi smiled gently, even though his eyes looked wet. "Whether or not your bond with Vishnu changes nothing. To Papa, you are the only child Papa never had."

Adelia's cry broke again. The two hugged each other to express their affection.

"Mom, can Aminah come?" Aminah who had been standing in the doorway of the room suddenly made a sound. The woman's eyes also looked wet.

Adelia let go of her father's embrace and walked over to Aminah. "Don't Aminah, your life is more secure here. Pray for me, will you?"

A man dressed in all black welcomed Adelia's arrival and asked her to get into the car immediately.
