Chapter 40. Bickering.

"Thank you, Adel" Alex said, glancing at Adelia meaningfully.

"Together, sir," Adelia replied as she nodded her head. Just as the woman was about to leave the two men behind, Alex called her back.

"Adel, prepare some files that I asked for at that time" Alex said.

"Good, sir." Adelia left the place.

The atmosphere was suddenly silent for a moment. Vishnu looked dumbstruck, leaving behind some maps that he should have read carefully.

"What's the matter, Mr. Vishnu?" alex asked as soon as he found the tense face of Vishnu. Secretly the man smiled sinisterly.

He was very happy to see the look on Vishnu's face when he met Adelia who has now changed completely. What else when Adelia behaves as if she does not recognize Vishnu.

"Sir, who was that woman, how do you know her and when did she work here?" ask Vishnu who has realized from his surprise.

"Ahh, he's my secretary's replacement on leave. Why why?" ask Alex again.

Vishnu. Inwardly, he guessed, did Alex really not know anything about Adelia at all, or was the man just pretending?

"I like to recognize him" murmured Vishnu in a very small voice. Either Alex can hear it or not.

On the other hand, Adelia is seen exhaling with relief, while hiding in the toilet room. Although it looked gallant and full of confidence, still in his heart appeared various kinds of fear.

Adelia even tried not to look at Vishnu's face longer, so that his heart did not waver.

After repeatedly convincing herself that she was okay, Adelia came out of the toilet to prepare the file that Alex meant. However, when the woman came out of there, the figure of the man who had scared her suddenly appeared.

Adelia was surprised instead of playing when in front of her eyes, Vishnu was standing with a sharp gaze. The man immediately pulled Adelia's hands roughly towards the deserted office hallway.

Adelia whimpers in pain while continuing to try to escape Vishnu. However, his strength was not comparable to that of the man.

"What are you doing here?" sentak Vishnu hard.

"What do you mean. I don't recognize you!" adelia answered loudly. The woman knew very well, if her acting was not effective on Vishnu. However, he remained reluctant to admit his identity to the brengseekkk man.

"Del, don't joke! I know, you're Adelia, my wife! What are you doing here and how can you work in this place?" Vishnu tried to urge Adelia to talk.

"I really don't understand!" kilah Adelia's.

Vishnu looked angry. She roughly pulled Adelia's hand to look at their wedding ring. However, the ring turns out to be nonexistent, but on Adelia's finger leaves a mark.

"You're gonna make our ring?" ask Vishnu.

"Dell!" vishnu Benthic.

"What happened to the ring? Do you want to take it? Go ahead, I'll send him home soon."

Hearing Adelia's confession, making the look of Vishnu's face change for a moment. Adelia no longer called her 'mas'.

"You really are Adelia. I don't want only the ring to come back, Del. Now we go home, so you can straighten things out."

Adelia frowned. "Remove everything? Whatchu mean?"

"Yes. Everything you did to Intan back then. I don't want to hear from just one side."

Hearing Vishnu's words, Adelia laughed cynically. "Then, what will change? Are you gonna believe what I'm saying?"

"Del ...."

"Oh, do you want, I apologize to Intan, just like your mother wanted?" Adelia's eyes squeaked cynically as she cut Vishnu's words. "I'm sorry, I'll never do it, because he's the one who should be prostrating at my feet for making up a lie!"

With her head held high, Adelia stepped away, leaving Vishnu stunned by her disappearance.

The man did not expect at all, that in the period of not up to three months, Adelia had turned into a person who was quite strong.

Nah! Adelia has always had a firmness and fortitude, only now she looks more courageous in showing it.

Vishnu leaned limply against the wall while clenching his hand. While Adelia continued walking while occasionally wiping away her tears that had been dripping.

Upon arriving in front of Alex's room, a hand suddenly pulls Adelia's hand.

"Hey, a—" Adelia was unable to continue her words, when suddenly the hand pulled and held her body tightly.

"Cry, Del, cry" said Alex.

Adelia was silent. He desperately wants to escape Alex's confinement. However, this time he really needed someone to lean on. As a result, Adelia spilled her tears in Alex's arms.
