Evening day arrived. The wedding ceremony between Vishnu and Intan held simply was finally completed. All the invited guests who came had completely left the Kencana Family mansion. Now only the family Adelia and Intan only consists of om and tantenya.
Right in the living room, Ratna looks so attentive to Intan. Whether intentionally or not, in as if he did not care for the Adelia family who also joined there.
"Well, if you need anything, don't hesitate to tell Mama, honey?" ratna said as she stroked the distended stomach of her second daughter-in-law.
"Yes, Ma. Thank you" said the woman shyly. Every now and then he glanced towards Adelia who was currently more silent.
Ratna smiled. Not to forget he also asked Vishnu to pay more attention to the condition of the young wife who was two-bodied. The woman even arranged for Vishnu to accompany Intan to sleep more than Adelia.
"Okay Ma, I'll pay attention to Intan." The man then looked at the second wife with warmth. Their hands even intertwined as if they did not care about Adelia's existence.
However, Intan apparently felt bad. He looked at the old wife with a guilty face. "Just like Ma, Mas. I don't want Mas Vishnu or this family to treat us unfairly. Because, in any case I'm a new person here, so it's not worth getting this much attention."
Ratna frowned. "Oh, how kind of you, dear. No, it's fair, son, because you're pregnant. Adelia must understand. Yeah, right, Adelia?" asked the woman while looking at Adelia with lips smiling meaningfully.
Adelia knew very well that smile was just a fake smile that Ratna addressed in front of her family.
"Wives who are pregnant or not, still a husband must treat them fairly. After all, if it were to be examined deeper, it was the wounded heart that should require more attention!" Dinda who could not stand the Ratna show finally opened her voice. The woman even stared cynically at Intan.
Finding such a gaze, Intan bowed in fear.
Dinda grieves. The experience of living in a country of people for a few years ago, makes Dinda understand how to see the bad side of others. And Intan clearly hides many vices that might be revealed one by one. Now-now Intan may look very innocent and kind, but just look at it for some time to come.
Long story short, the young lady of the household destroyer that person had a match with Ratna. Adelia was so poor that she was caught between them.
Ratna who heard the sharp words from Dinda also made her almost black, if not respect the existence of the family Intan.
Aini wanted to reprimand Dinda, because she did not want to return to the dispute like the other day. However, Ratna re-opened her voice.
"What do you know about this, Dinda? Intan that brings life in his stomach so it is only natural that Vishnu pay more attention to Intan. You won't be able to understand about marriage like this if you don't experience the same thing" Ratna said fiercely.
"Oh, I'm sorry Ms. Ratna, my husband is not a breengsekk man who goes straight for another woman just to fulfill his family ego. He's a loyal man who's always willing to support and cover up my flaws! Look now! Thanks to her patience, we now have a very beautiful and smart daughter!"
Everyone in the room was silent. Dinda's reply really hit them all.
"She!"
"Mom!"
Aini and Adelia kontan compact reprimanding Dinda who began to cross the line. Aini immediately apologized to Ratna who was about to stand up from the sofa. Luckily Vishnu immediately restrained his mother from doing things that could make the Intan family think badly.
In order to avoid the same dispute, Doni also invited his wife to go home with their mother.
After the family's departure, Ratna began babbling. He didn't seem to care about the Intan family's opinion. "The villagers have no ethics! How dare he talk like that to a distinguished family like us. They should be grateful that their youngest daughter managed to raise the family by marrying Vishnu!" Ratna's face was already very reddened from holding back anger.
Intan secretly exchanged glances with Mona and Attan while smiling cynically.
"Mbak Ratna, it's Mbak, don't be too emotional. Naturally they were angry .. We understand them very well." Mona suddenly inched toward Ratna to calm her down.
"Thank you, Jeng. You guys are really a good family. If only fate had brought Intan and Vishnu together first," Ratna said.
"Don't do it, don't be sorry. Adelia is a good daughter-in-law."
"I don't need to be okay, Jeng, but also healthy like Intan" replied Ratna. Intan immediately calmed Ratna down and hugged her arm.
Meanwhile, Vishnu asked for permission to come out to Adelia.
Outside the house, Dinda and Aini almost had a heated argument. Especially when you know Vishnu will not come out to meet those who want to go home.
"Look at Mom's rich daughter-in-law, her in-laws came home and didn't show up at all!" exclaim Dinda upset. However, a few moments later Vishnu arrived there.
"Still have your face to meet us. I thought, you're gonna keep standing in your mom's armpit and not see us!"
"Mbak, please," said Adelia Lirih. To be honest, he was tired of all this.
Vishnu deliberately ignored the words of his brother-in-law, he preferred to kiss Aini's hand and apologize. "I'm sorry, ma'am, sorry" said Vishnu.
Aini smiled thinly. "It's okay, son, it's okay. It's just that I ask, please treat Adelia the way you two should first huh? I've left Adelia intact, so please don't hurt your daughter more than this Vishnu." There was a clear vibration heard from Aini's voice.
"Yes, Mom. I will try" Vishnu promised. He turned to Doni and Dinda. However, Dinda brushed off Vishnu's hand.
Adelia could only sigh in resignation. After the woman shook hands with all her family, they left the residence using an old antelope parked in the corner of the yard. It was the only car the Adelia family had in the past.
After their death, Adelia held Vishnu's hand. The two of them had not really met and communicated.
"After not Mas? Thank goodness Ijab went well. Unlike me who had to repeat twice, now Mas smoothly say the ijab once." Adelia smiled sincerely. However, the sincerity was even reciprocated by Vishnu with a rude jolt.
"You should have more control over your family, especially your brother's mouth. Just be ashamed!"
Adelia was surprised not to be dumbass. He was about to let out his voice again, but Vishnu had already hunted away from the place.
Adelia's hand suddenly felt numb. Where was the promise that was just made before her mother? In less than a minute, Vishnu had denied it.
Adelia quickly blinked her eyes to avoid the tears that were preparing to come down.
