Chapter 43. Intan's Fear.

Intan was silent with a face full of fear. He did not pay attention to Steve's hand holding his vitamins, until Steve took the initiative to take Intan's hand and put the object in the woman's hand.

Intan took a step back. With trembling hands he broke away and tried to avoid Steve who was now looking at his stomach. However, Steve's words afterwards made the woman sculpt.

"It seems like we've been met a lot lately, right? Why is it so Intan? Is the sky leading me to expose your rot or to hold me responsible for what happened to you?"

Intan's entire body was suddenly cold, as if he had just been doused with a bucket full of icy water.

Steve walked up to Intan and looked back at his distended stomach.

Reflex intan stroked his stomach, like he was protecting the baby from the safest of wild animals.

Steve smiled broadly. He slowly approached Intan's ear and whispered, "hopefully, our baby is always healthy in there."

Vishnu could only stare at Adelia's departure from Hariadi's house with a look of shock. He had absolutely no idea that Adelia would take such a bold decision.

Hari had chosen to leave the son outside and lock the door. The man is still visibly emotional with the son's baseless heinous accusations about his and Adelia's relationship.

Meanwhile, Adelia chooses to get into a taxi that happens to stop right in front of her. However, just as the taxi was about to leave a knock on the door was heard.

That was Alex. The man turns out to be following Adelia on purpose because of worrying about her.

"Sir Alex!" adelia exclaimed with a discordant voice and wet eyes.

Without protesting Adelia followed Alex and got into her car.

For the first few minutes no sound was heard in the car, until Alex finally opened the conversation first after seeing Adelia was calmer. "Have you felt better?" ask Alex carefully.

Adelia exhaled her breath and nodded slowly. "I'm sorry, sir, it's a hassle. Sorry also for the incident in the office earlier, I t—"

"Once you go, stop apologizing. How now?" Alex accidentally cuts Adelia's words because she doesn't want to discuss the hug she did to the woman.

I don't know what's on Alex's mind until suddenly without a second thought give a hug to Adelia. He was indeed well aware of the strangeness that his heart felt every time he got close to the woman. However, it did not mean that he could carelessly show it in a public place, even though no one had seen it.

"What about, sir?" asked Adelia who did not understand Alex's direction.

Alex seems misbehaved, because he also does not understand and just talk so that Adelia does not think too much about the problem.

Alex cleared his throat. "I mean, now you want to go home or go somewhere?"

"Why am I going somewhere?" adelia asked with a plain face.

Alex folded his lips while breathing. Why would a person as cold as her be this groggy to the point of mispronouncing, and again, why could Adelia be this stupid as to what she said. Supposedly, as a secretary, he was able to examine the meaning of his words.

"That's it, forget it. Let's just eat. Where do you want to eat?"

Adelia was silent for a moment. "As for you."
