Chapter 10: Incubus Blood

After Regal was treated in the medical ward. Regal is called up by Adrian and Mavis about Regal's problem.

"Good morning. Did you enjoy the view outside?" Adrian asked with a smiling face.

"Well, everything is beautiful. For the first time, I felt freedom..." Regal said with a smile on his face.

Adrian and Mavis look at each other, Adrian nods his head, Mavis finally approaches Regal.

"May I see your magic circuit?" Mavis asks Regal's hand, Regal without fear of giving it to Mavis and finally himself checked.

Mavis holding the hand was over time amazed by the boy's magic circuit.

"He was already developing, which was originally only partially open to make him able to eat the dream, now it has opened completely."

Mavis said as she sensed Regal's magic circuit, but it wasn't there yet.

Regal answered casually.

"I channeled my Vis into the Incubus blood I had. At first I hated the blood of my Incubus descendants, but saw a smile from him... I don't think this blood is a curse, but a blessing.

I don't know what the technique is, but for now I call it Foul Legacy..."

"Botten inheritance huh? A suitable name for a man who hates the blood of his descendants." Adrian said with a smile.

Adrian finally stood up from his throne and approached Regal.

Regal stood in the middle of the training room, himself starting to collect Vis throughout his body, then focusing that Vis to activate the skill of Foul Legacy that made him change.

Adrian and Mavis finally see the change of the Foul Legacy, Regal's body grows 2 times its usual size with the blazing Vis.

Regal who could not maintain Foul Legacy finally returned to his human form.

"7 minutes 43 seconds. I think that's good enough for now." Adrian interrupted Mavis' words. "That's more than enough... For now rest, son, your body must be burdened."

Regal stood up with the help of his sword as a pedestal, he then nodded and left the training room. Mavis who saw Regal leave the room then thought of something strange.

"When his Incubus blood rose, and the Foul Legacy consumed a lot of his Mana and soul. Doesn't he need to recharge?"

"Take it easy, the maids have been the main meal for the last 2 years. He'll be fine..."

"More than ready..." Regal wears Foul Legacy while putting up his horses. The two of them looked at each other, even though they looked into each other's eyes they were both empty like an endless void.

Mavis then advanced with her sword, Regal resisted Mavis' powerful attack, making her hand feel like it was about to break. However their swords bounced off each other and gave them some distance.

Regal and Mavis advance together, as Mavis attempts to execute a vertical attack that can break Regal's hand and sword. It would have been a defeat for Regal, but at the same time he turned his grip and made his body and sword avoid Mavis' fatal attack.

While Mavis was still dropping her sword down, Regal held her sword properly and pointed the tip of the sword down Mavis' throat.

He was already dead when the sword missed, Cavis the right hand of Regal lost against Regal who was holding an ordinary training sword. But that is not what causes Mavis to lose to Regal...

"Those who inherit the blood of the devil will get some of its properties, but I can't believe you've raised those eyes."

Mavis sees Regal return to his human form, everything returning to normal except for one thing. Those eyes... Bright sky blue eyes that reflect light like a pure diamond. Those eyes were one of the properties of the Incubus blood flowing in their bodies.

Eyes that reflect light are like diamonds and eyes that can see anything and even destiny. And at this moment he looked at those eyes again like he was looking at a lost jewel...
