Regal who was currently standing with his hands full of terrible wounds and a body full of sweat was standing in front of a spherical artifact. He swung his sword with that wounded and trembling hand, himself bouncing far back from his own attack.
The maids who witnessed it had no idea how long he had been doing this, how many hours had passed and how many times he had done so, only when he fainted could the maids see Regal resting. They never saw the boy rest on his own, every time he finished swinging the sword and bounced he would definitely get back up.
Until they finally saw him stop and thought, Regal saw the ball and then he saw his hand. I don't know what's on Regal's mind, but he ordered something the maids never thought of.
"Take the coal..." Those were the words of an already unconscious person who had practiced from sunrise to sunset. The maids then took out a bag of coal, The Regal who had healed his hand perfectly began to pick up one stone.
He then squeezed the coal with one hand, all the veins in his right hand showing how hard he tried to squeeze the coal without Vis in the slightest.
Until finally the stone was destroyed by itself, Regal looked at the stone and then continued squeezing the stone. No matter how much pain from the wound he had just closed, it was now open and the coal was in.
Regal continued to squeeze even after it was destroyed. An hour, a day, a week, even up to 3 months he continuously healed and practiced swinging his sword and squeezing coal. There was no face of despair in sight, there was only spirit visible on his face during these 3 months.
Until he finally came to fruition.... Regal felt the texture of the coal in his hand, he then let go of his grasp and let the coal that had become dust fall to the ground, but little by little the maids could see the light reflected from the coal. They were initially hesitant but eventually they were convinced that what fell was a diamond...
———
After Regal healed himself and the training ground had been cleaned of scattered coal mixed with small diamonds. Regal then took out his sword and stood before the ball again.
The look in his eyes showed seriousness and dedication, then with one swing Regal made the silence change with the beautiful thumping sound coming from the ball.
Everyone thought that he had succeeded, he had made the ball emit a sweet thump. But slowly they realized that the very hard ball was starting to split in two.
They were all convinced that Regal's sword remained above the surface of the ball, but the swing of the sword accompanied by powerful technique and control allowed him to cut through the extremely hard ball without penetrating it.
Regal's hand was no longer bleeding, his hand was calloused and hard was not bleeding, and the sword held by Regal had been shattered like broken glass.
"Bring me another one..."
A maid carrying a sword again, Regal clasped the sword so hard that they could hear the sound of the wooden handle starting to crack on the inside.
Regal just swung it with one hand followed by his right body which helped swing his sword. After swinging the sword in the air, Regal then looked at the sword again.
The sword became crooked and its shape was no longer worthy to be called a sword, even though Regal did not cut or hit anything.
As everyone fell silent at the one-handed sword swing, there was only one person laughing as they clapped. It was Adrian who had just come from behind the door.
"It's very good Regal. Seeing as you could do that without Vis or Aura's help, it was terrible you know?"
Adrian stood in front of Regal, Regal lowered his head and replied.
"It's all because of you."
Adrian smiled, but he turned his back and left the room.
"The path you chose is still harder than this..."
As the door closed tightly by itself, the room was again quiet by silence.
"What do you see? Bring me a new sword."
The maids finally rushed off to pick up another sword. Meanwhile Regal continued to pay attention to his hands, hands that used to be watered with hot water, hands that crawl looking for insects in the attic to be eaten, hands that always hurt whatever he did...
The hand had never been touched by his family, but it continued to receive more severe injuries than he had ever felt.
———
After he rested in his room, Regal finally realized something.
"The world is cruel..." Whether he is where, his hands will always be injured, whether with whom he will always be injured.
The death shown by Mavis was cruel and excruciatingly painful. But death did not leave any scars on his body. Regal who realized that while lying in bed finally began to drain his Vis.
He remembers the words of Adrian. "Natural elements are always associated with personality and also the trauma of the user."
Regal always get bad treatment until often beaten and berated maki with words that should not be heard let alone thrown to a child.
But in the end he could not get the natural element, even with all the trauma and magic circuits that have existed since he was born he still did not have his own natural element.
Regal finally took out a new, more powerful sword, unbeknownst to the people himself leaping from the palace window. The feeling from her fearlessly dropping herself to the ground from a height really made her feel like a freak, unafraid of danger and death...
What he felt was nothing but emptiness, no purpose in life, no fear even after remembering the things that traumatized him. Everything was empty in Regal's mind even after his head had already nearly touched the ground.
Meanwhile, in the throne room there were two people who were talking, Adrian was sitting while drinking sweet wine from hell, while Mavis knelt before him.
"He did it already?" Adrian said while shaking the glass containing the wine.
"Well, I can feel it. But not with his fear..." Mavis replied with a worried and agitated face, but Adrian seemed calm in this situation.
"Don't worry, he may already not be afraid of death.
But when you see death before your eyes, you will see the flashback of life..."
———
As Regal neared the ground, he began to see all his memories before he died. Everything, from how he was treated with love to doubt and tortured by his new family.
All of that happened faster than the blink of his eyes, until Regal finally saw something he never remembered. When he was abandoned in front of the temple.
At that moment she could see clearly, a woman with platinum-blond hair and beautiful sky-blue eyes was just like her. All the suffering, pain and sorrow from his eyes.
The young Regal tried to hold the woman's hand, although he seemed to endure the pain as if he was injured, she still gave him her index finger to hold by the tiny hand of her child.
I don't know why all the suffering and pain was gone, even though his sadness was still visible behind the tears, but he felt gratitude and happiness in his smile.
Regal who was still holding his mother's finger laughed, while his mother put on a happy face with a grateful smile, but the tears finally fell into Regal's hands.
After that, he never met his parents again...
From Regal's eyes came the same tears that his mother had shed. Those tears fell slower than Regal, making him able to see the tears flying away from him.
And by flowing his Vis all over Regal's body finally trying to save himself, his body released a bright blue flame.
Meanwhile in the throne room, Aldrian finally looked at his glass. "Have you risen?"
Mavis who finally felt relieved finally replied. "Well... The blessing of me has risen."
Regal turned into that bright blue-colored fireball, the fireball then quickly fell to the ground and created an explosion.
But as the smoke and light from the bright blue flames faded, it was not a child with a sword standing in the middle of the blast area.
Rather a demon with an adult body covered in exoskeleton and black wings that gave off a bright blue light. The demon suddenly glowed again, after the light disappeared the demon turned into Regal.
Regal's body fell to the ground, he fainted in front of Adrian's palace for the second time, but this time it was different. Because now...
He smiles...
