Chapter 43: The Greater Basilisk

When he was surrounded in all directions, Regal smiled and told everyone. "I saw nothing but a bunch of dead bodies..."

They released their arrows and magic towards Regal, but Regal quickly jumped up, when he was above the sky, Legal landed in the row where most of the witches were. As soon as he landed, he slaughtered the witches, the witches in the other ranks tried to help by releasing the fireballs,but it was again reflected by Regal and the fireball was blown away to damage the formation belonging to Ze'ev.

Regal who fought then saw the Basilisk again gathered his fire breath back. Regal who was aware of it immediately made his way and ran among the crowd of people who were his own enemies. As soon as Regal ran, the Basilisk spouted its flames even when he had to burn his own friends. And when the breath of fire was exhausted, Regal fought by killing the Ze'ev soldiers one by one.

Their line began to crack, Regal then fired on several projectiles but he managed to fend it all off, until finally the Basilisk tried to spout the fire again, Regal did not move from where he stood,he leisurely raised his palm and deflected the flames with the Aegis Shield. The fire burned the soldiers behind Regal until they were charred.

When only a few soldiers were left, Regal smiled because he had an idea. He leapt up into the sky while throwing the Phantom Blade magic sword. However that was not his main goal, Regal made two swords and landed on top of the Basilisk's head.

Without fear he stuck his two swords in the lizard's right eye, he then made a chain made of Phantom Blade that tied the hands and also the sword hilt that struck the lizard. When the lizard tries to rebel, he moves randomly and kills Ze'ev's soldiers with his incision.

Not stopping there, Regal stuck the other sword in the left eye of the lizard, it was like he was driving an animal with the chain as a bridle. The basilisk grew even more raging and started shooting out its fire breath randomly. And with the help of the big lizard, Regal managed to annihilate Ze'ev's army until no longer left.

Regal who saw that there was no one else he could kill, finally made a giant hand that gripped the lizard's neck. The basilisk was locked and he could do nothing more, Regal who saw the Basilisk was not moving anymore, finally began to gather his magic power in Balmung.

He leaped up into the sky and landed in front of the lizard that was already being held back by the hands that came from hell. He raised both his hands and let Balmung shine brighter. Then with both hands Regal swung his sword from the top down.

A blade of light appeared and passed through the lizard, for a while nothing happened, but suddenly space-time was split along with every strand of space and time,making the world in front of him look like it was split into two parts. The world quickly returned to normal, but when the slash closed, it suddenly exploded and evaporated from atom to atom,his shout and the light from the explosion sounded so loud that his body finally evaporated completely to vaporize his body into ashes.

Regal stood up and looked at the sky after him, the ashes of the Basilisk began to fall, and when he looked ahead he could see that the clouds that had been in the trajectory of his attack had now disappeared completely. He smiled and he returned Balmung to his storage room.

"Yes my... I need to recharge..."

After a battle that consumed a lot of energy Regal took a few days off with many women who came to his room every night...

But it was unexpected by Maryam and Dartania, that the three alliances surrendered unconditionally, they paid the compensation in the form of gold coins,and there is also an agreement on the consequences in the event of future military aggression.

Actually, when he returned from hell, Regal felt that he had become more like a Devil. Not knowing why his hair had changed color, but certainly not because of the trauma caused by his torment in hell.

Regal opened it and he saw an artifact from Aegae, the Heart of Guardians. The two artifacts from Aegae were given to the King to serve as twin rings, and at his request the Aegis Shield ring became faster than the Heart of Guardians in order to be used in battle.

"It looks good..." After Regal went to the treasure room and took some goods and some of the spoils, Regal finally decided to leave, but when he came out of the palace, Regal found Asghar standing in front of him.

"You missed the party? All this happened because of you you know?" Regal smiled and replied. "I've got more important parties to celebrate..." Regal swung Balmung in the air without slashing anything.

However, the place that was cut down by Regal suddenly split into two, making a space distortion that looks like space magic named*Gate** which can create a portal from one place to another.

"Don't forget to send you your wedding invitation, Prince." Asghar and Regal smiled at each other, Regal finally entered the portal, and after he entered it the distortion returned to normal and the portal disappeared. Leaving Asghar alone...

A similar distortion was formed in a forest. Regal got out of there and the distortion closed back. Regal then took a breath while looking at the sky.

He didn't see the beautiful stars, he didn't pray to any God in Celestia, he was just pensive what if his parents were still alive and watching this all.

"Well, I think it's useless to think about that."

Regal finally walked, this is not a forest, this is a forest close to Belterre, and Regal's purpose here is of course for his marriage...
