Chapter 4: Science and Magic

"The place we are at right now is the Abyss. It is the deepest layer of the earth where space and time are different from the upper world.

Certainly thanks to my strength. This place was also the outer layer before the first layer of hell.

Adrian explained as Regal was busy reading books with different languages in each paragraph.

"Then why did you build your palace here? I think hell is vast."

I find it difficult to continue my research, so I ask the Celestian Gods to make this place the gate of hell."

Regal stopped reading and asked Adrian.

Adrian laughed and said. "You could say that, but Enochian works like a rune. It can be used as a language to communicate and can also be used as a magic spell.

While Caster used their natural magic and magic to fire through spells. There are 4 elements that are the main elements of magicians, namely Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth.

The magic element you have can sometimes be more than one, but there are only a few people who have more than two elements, and each element has an advanced level."

Regal listened while focusing on controlling the magic within his body.

"Well out of those 4 elements you're not connected to any element. Weird right?

You don't have the magic element it's arguably a misfortune but also a blessing.

But don't worry, not having any basic elements doesn't mean you can't use magic.."

Regal's body was suddenly enveloped by a light blue flame that enveloped him.

Regal finally saw both hands, his hands were calloused with many injuries due to training given by Adrian.

Adrian has trained Regal in inhumane methods, starting with reading and writing various languages to study swordsmanship and Aura to the intricacies.

"All right, I think this is enough... Now what I'm going to teach you is the high level of Aura."

Adrian went to take off his coat and gave it to the waiter, and one of the servants gave Adrian a spear.

"That aura is the augmentation of magic throughout the body with magic energy forming the basic elements of pure Mana, that's how Aura works and some magic spells.

But after some research, I came up with a new way to make Aura more effective. And this way can only be done races with powerful soul energy."

Adrian took a deep breath and began to focus, as he opened his eyes immediately enveloped with a burning purple energy.

He directly swung his spear at one of the wooden puppets there, and with just a single swing the wooden puppet was crushed and devoured by the purple flames coming out of its spear.

"The magic circuit is formed like a vein and pulse, you drain magic energy to channel it either into or out of the body.

But it all comes from your heart, the heart is the organ that produces Mana. And Aura only envelops you with magic and elements that you have.

While the technique I used was Vis, a technique that allowed its users to stream their Mana and Soul to form Aura.

The soul and body are just as important, and with Vis you can make your body stronger than just using Aura whether it is with 4 basic elements or advanced elements."

Adrian who had shown the technique to Regal made Regal ask.

"I see, when I made Aura, I who had no natural elements only used pure Mana. And any natural element I added only added attributes to Aura.

Vis is different... Vis it is when the magic energy in the body merges with the energy that exists within oneself that is the soul."

Adrian smiled and praised Regal.

"Truely, every human being has soul energy, but even if they can use Vis, it will not last 3 breaths.

That's why Vis can only be done by those with magic energy and powerful souls, like Incubus like you."

Regal finally understood with that explanation. He began to reuse Aura, but when he tried to channel soul energy like Aura it was very difficult.
