Chapter 24: The Warrior of the Woods

After Regal kills Molon, he sees Dakath and Kyle fighting. They both had their own advantages and disadvantages, Kyle with his strength and Dakath with his agility.

As Kyle tried to attack with all his might, Dakath could avoid everything easily and could even counterattack using the rapier he was wearing. Seeing that Regal immediately knew what magic was used by Dakath. The fight was over with Dakath as the winner, Kyle had the power to swing his axe until the arena floor was broken. Regal believes that if it wasn't for Dakath's technique then Kyle would have won easily.

After the game, Regal prepared after an hour's rest. He entered the arena full of cheers from the audience, both are famous Warriors, no one can choose who will win in this match, they both won with little effort, he said,making their original strength is very mysterious.

The bell was rung after the two of them shook hands, no commotion had occurred and they ended up putting up their respective horses. Regal made his first move with the Abyss Step, Dakath saw that and he retreated to avoid Regal's attack. When the horizontal slash missed, Dakath immediately rushed into a stab.

Regal immediately dodged and kicked Dakath's stomach until he vomited blood. His sword fell at Regal's feet, but Regal kicked him in front of Dakath. "Wake up...!" Regal pointed at Dakath while putting up the horses. Dakath then activated the technique he used to Kyle, his eyes glowing like they were casting magic into those eyes.

When Regal attacks, Dakath can easily fend off and evade Regal's attacks which are very fast and powerful, even faster and stronger than Kyle,however, the man was able to dodge and counterattack which left Regal injured.

Until finally Regal was about to do Avenger, he swung his sword very strongly from top to bottom when Dakath was at his strike distance, but Dakath was able to dodge the vertical attack perfectly,as Dakath was about to counterattack, the attack was faster than Regal's speed raising his sword.

From Dakath's eyes, he could see the future, the future where this attack would slash Regal's shoulder into two, but when his sword almost touched Regal, it was almost right,suddenly, Regal disappears without a trace. The shocked Dakath was currently pierced in the abdomen by Regal who appeared from behind.

Regal then kicked Dakath out of his sword. Dakath who was currently thrown far away until almost out of the arena began to heal himself, Regal looked towards the sword Dakath who was currently at his feet.

"How can...?" Dakath could not believe what had just happened, the future he saw did not happen and turned into a different result.

Regal approached but did not hit his opponent, he allowed Dakath to heal himself. Regal then did a horizontal slash, Dakath dodged it and went behind Regal to retrieve his sword.

Dakath quickly and ferociously targeted Regal, he did a lot of slashes and punches but all of them were avoided easily by Regal. "Clairvoyance is a high-level magic, right? Magic that can make you read the future, but it doesn't mean anything to me..." Regal then clasped Dakath's hand. Regal clasped hard until he let go of his sword and fell to the ground.

"You gotta stop dropping it." The Dakath that Regal humiliated ended up losing his emotions. He hit Regal with his left hand, making Regal release his arm. Dakath then took his sword and charged back towards Regal.

The two of them exchanged attacks, Dakath saw Regal's body leaning more to the right, finally he decided to attack Regal's back, making him sacrifice his sword to the side of the clumsy defense,make Dakath can launch a blow with his left hand.

Dakath who saw Regal just landing finally made momentum by performing a rotating slash, he dared to twist his sword and body to build momentum as Regal's head was still shaken. However, when Dakath's sword was about to hit Regal, the boy held Dakath's right wrist and stabbed Dakath with his sword.

He could not use the sword in his right hand because it was locked, currently Regal locked the movement of Dakath with a sword that pierced the Elf's stomach. Regal then took out the sword in Dakath's right hand and released it, Dakath is currently kneeling down with a limp body, he can't even say the word surrender as Regal does the horses fencing with his own sword. But this time Regal did not commit murder, just kill weak creatures, he had no advantage...

Paramedics came to the arena to cure Dakath who was currently nearly drained of blood with a hollow stomach. Meanwhile Regal walked back to the dressing room. There he saw Gram full of blood and he cleaned it. He cleared the sword until finally someone entered the dressing room.

"You didn't kill him, why?" Regal recognizes from a sinister voice that echoes in the esophagus before it comes out. "Hello Chief..." It was the Orc Chief of the northern tribe that was Kurdan. Regal then put down the sword after it was cleared and replied.

"Orcs are the strongest Warrior race, that's what people talk about. That reputation makes you write unofficial rules, those who lose a duel risk honor are more worthy of death than life to bear shame.

I believe what I did to your men was a kindness, considering that he humiliated himself and lost. Unlike the Elves of course, they were extremely arrogant with their magic. Of course it's good, but it makes the Elves in the Belriver country prefer to be Caster. And if I kill a talented Warrior of the Elf race, I don't think they'll test the killer's historical knowledge like you do now."

The problem was that an Orc from the north defected and sold information to the south. "Kurdan said that with a gloomy face. Regal asked Kurtan.

Regal can feel the worry of Kurdan, he asks Kurdan. "When will the seal be broken?" Kurtan looked towards Regal and replied. "A month from now..."
