CUTS
Singletons...

The next morning, Anugrah who was still at home alone in the room was surprised by the arrival of Doni. “Log, Doc.” Anugrah.

Doni is the only friend who can enter the Anugrah's room because only Doni is a close friend of Anugrah. The rest were just ordinary friends but for Tiara, the girl also never entered the Anugrah's room even though they were dating. Cut always reminds him not to cross the line.

Anugrah is still faithfully hugging bolsters, “I've heard from Tiara about last night. Honestly, I can't say anything, A. There is no solution to differences of belief unless one of you is willing to give up. That's also impossible, right?”

“Don, in vain all this time we put high hopes and dreams to get married. I didn't expect that Tiara wouldn't follow me. She said dear to me in fact she did not want to follow my beliefs.”

“Why are you being so selfish, A? That belief cannot move. This concerns our relationship with God and our belief in Him. Why don't you turn the other way around? Why don't you follow Tiara?”

Doni's question was like a knife that pierced his heart many times. It was true, he was too selfish to expect Tiara to follow his beliefs.

“Our status is the same, Don. Singles!!!” Anugrah tried to comfort himself but still he felt very pain.

“Maybe this could be a lesson for me and for you too. Before undergoing more serious it is better to ask first his religion. If it is different it means having to ask additional questions, whether or not you are willing to move. If you are willing to mean continue if not yes say goodbye.”  Doni.

“Ya already then, I want to go to Tiara's house first. What nitip do you have for him?” ask Doni.

“You don't make me sadder, Don. Where can I nitip-nitip kayak first. We have broken up!!!”

“Yes already, I stay first. Stay sane yeah!” jest Doni and get out of Anugrah's room.

As Doni was about to enter his car, Cut rushed over to the boy's friend.

“Yes, Aunt. Why?” doni asked frantically when he saw the mother of his friend running up to him.

Cut took a deep breath last, “Nak Doni knows the Tiara family?” tanyakanya.

“Iya, Tan. But not so close. Because his parents were rarely home. Why, Tan?”

“Do Tiara have a brother or sister?” Doni seemed to think, “Ada Tan, Tiara has an older sister named Anindita. But rarely at home, if not wrong, her brother again went to college while working at Jogja.”

“You have the picture?”

“Nothing, Tan. Maybe on Tiara's social media accounts there are. Hold on, Doni open up. If you may know, why is Aunt curious about sister Tiara? Didn't Aunt meet last night?”

Cut looked at Doni, “Tante didn't see another daughter there. Tiara is just like her parents. There's nothing else.

“Oh this is there but less clear, Tan.” Doni showed photos of Tiara's social media accounts as they celebrated Christmas.

Cut watched the photo carefully, “Less clear huh?” Grumpy Cut disappointed. He was very curious about the son of Shinta and Fais. “How low is it, Don? You know not?”

“That Doni don't know, Tan. Aunty no longer wants to betroth Kak Dita with Kak Is right?” taste Doni.

Cut laughed a little then shook his head slowly, “Tiara just failed Anugrah let alone her brother.”

After feeling enough, Cut ended the conversation. He also did not want to make his two sons suspicious to see his gelagat with Doni.

Not only did Anugrah grieve and confine himself in the room, Tiara also did the same. From last night she kept crying until she fell asleep on her own. Until morning, he who used to wake up early to work again cried when he woke up. Even he just went to the bathroom to shit and then returned to lying down while crying.

He stared at the mobile phone hoping that Anugrah would contact him but until this moment Anugrah did not send a message to him. All this time he was used to the attention of the Grace now all that was lost in the blink of an eye.

Tok.dok…

“Non, this is Den Doni.”

“All in, Bik!” tiara shouted still hugging her bolster with her puffy eyes.

“You two are the same. There A was also hugging the bolster. Here too you hugged the bolster. I'm surprised by you guys, why not just give up and get married.” Say Doni while putting a tray filled with chicken porridge for the two of them. Doni deliberately approached Bibik in the kitchen before entering Tiara's room. After hearing from Bibik if Tiara has not eaten a bit from last night, Doni took the initiative to ask Bibik to buy chicken porridge for them.

“Eat, it's still warm! I'm also hungry because you guys make me like a private doctor who has to examine his patients one by one. Come eat, you have to work after the holidays. Remember, it's not free!” said Doni pointing towards his porridge.

Lazily Tiara woke up and took the pulp, “Have a friend but the calculation is for mercy.” Cibir Tiara then put the porridge in his mouth.

Hunger cannot lie even when the heart is sick and disappointed. Hunger has its own path until the rain storms, even hunger still exists no matter how bad the condition of the owner of the stomach.

“What are your plans today?” ask Doni after finishing his meal. He was happy to see the porridge in Tiara's bowl only a little left.

“I'm going to sleep all day.”

“Eit..don't be. We leave once a year. Let's use it out! The only loss if the leave is spent on sleep-sleeping is unclear. Let alone cry over something you can turn into laughter but you don't want.” Doni pulled Tiara's hand which was about to break down again.

Bibik smilingly received a tray with the contents of his bowl only a little left. “Tiara again shower, Bik. Doni just wait here huh?” pinta Doni then pulled the chair in the dining room.

“Den, if I may Bibik know. Den Doni what is his religion?”

Uhukk…

Doni choked on his own drink. He looked at the aunt who was comfortable with the question. “Bibik want to know what you want to know so much?” god Doni to neutralize the uncomfortable feelings of the aunt.

“Sorry, Den because it is not polite to ask questions about religion Den Doni.”

Doni just laughs, “I'm like Tiara, Bik. Did he not tell? We spent Christmas together at work.”

“Yes know that Den Anugrah is also. Celebrating Christmas both, know-know-knows even other.” Doni understands the feelings of the aunt because it is in fact they are so. There is no difference that Anugrah shows when he and Tiara observe their feast day. So also with those who celebrate the feast of Anugrah. Everything they had done so far in the name of tolerance had finally failed to bring Tiara and Anugrah together. A sense of tolerance is not able to make both of them towards marriage.

Doni really is a good entertainer for Tiara. They spend time on vacation watching and touring the entertainment center just to look around. Several times they also singah in cafes that have just opened and viral through social media. Tiara who uses a little photocromic glasses can forget her sadness.

The same goes for the Anugrah. Iskandar, who knew that his sister was still lying in the room when the sun had begun to rise high, finally decided to wake the sister with a little coercion.

“Kak, where exactly are you going?” ask Anugrah who was sitting in front of the bike.

“I want to find my best friend when in pesantren first. Here's the address, come on! later be hunted.”

“Why not just take the car, anyway?”

“Do not, we ride the motor aja.”

The two of them rushed out of the house after saying goodbye. They used sunglasses and helmets to protect their heads and avoid police raids. There was a sense of relief that emanated on Anugrah's face while piggybacking on the older brother. He was able to take his mind off Tiara a little by enjoying his first trip with his older brother. They stopped in front of a house that was listed as at the address.

“Assalamualaikum,” greet Iskandar once down from his motor.

“Walaikumsalam,” says a negligent-clothed mother poking behind the door.

“Who to look for?” ask the mother back.

“What is this true Dika home?” ask Iskandar back.

“Oh that's a bitch? He doesn't live here anymore. He has long moved to Jakarta. Pitting the fate he said. Who're you?”

“I'm his first pesantren friend, Buk. Sorry, Mom is ready Dika?”

“I. This house I took care of after his father went to jail.”

Anugrah and Iskandar were shocked, Dika's father was famous for being angry and liked to hit him first. But they didn't expect Dika's father to go to jail.

“Sorry, Buk if you may know what case yes?” this time it was a curious one.

“Raise people's homes. Dika can not stand because the people here also ridicule him, especially his work here is unclear. Sometimes he likes to play with market thugs so the residents follow him. Finally he went to Jakarta to make fate. I don't know what his fate is there now?”

“Mother has no hp or address?”

“There, briefly!”

The mother gave Dika's hp number, “Her address does not exist because she lives not necessarily.” Iskandar gave two pieces of money a hundred thousand for the mother and then to both the exit.the mother who had been sitting now smiled widely at them after receiving the money sheet.

“Besok-tomorrow come again yes!” his yell.

After a nearly twenty-minute walk, Anugrah stopped her bike next to a young coconut ice vendor. The two brothers came down. They sat in one of the young head sellers stalls staring at the street. A lot of car and motorcycle traffic, that's what Anugrah saw until a car passed slowly with glass that was able to penetrate into to clearly see the figure that was in it.

“What's your next plan?”
