CUTS
Massacres...

Violence of the apparatus does not only occur in the city of Banda. In some other places, similar actions are even more severe. Anger over the loss of many soldiers kidnapped by the rebels made the public victims of their impeachment.

A crossroads near the factory in North Aceh saw the shooting of a number of people by soldiers. Initially, there was news that there were TNI members who disappeared and claimed to infiltrate the 1 Muharam event held by residents in one of the villages. There are residents who see so that further strengthen the claim.

Military forces responded to the loss of the member by launching a search operation involving various units including Brimob. Police arrested about 20 people and carried out the violence. After the incident, the TNI promised not to repeat the incident. However, a few days after that one truck of soldiers re-entered the village but was driven out by the local community.

Villagers who did not accept the protests marched to the army headquarters to demand the promise given by the commander the day before. Right at noon, protesters stopped at the A junction near the army headquarters. Five people were chosen by the citizens to dialogue with the commander and as the dialogue continued, the number of soldiers besieging the citizens who were at the A intersection grew.

Residents threw stones at their headquarters and set fire to two motorcycles. After that two army trucks from behind and started shooting at the crowd of protesters. After the incident, several bags containing bodies given stone ballast were found at the bottom of the river by residents.

The incident at the A intersection is almost the same as the one in the next district. Where, the bodies of the people they tortured and killed were tied with wire and given stone ballast and then thrown into the river Kundo. This massacre was an act of revenge for army troops for the sweep by an unknown number of people and led to the killing of several members of the army. The bodies of the soldiers were also thrown into the Kundo River.

The mood of grief is still felt in the market environment. One day after the incident, the market was still empty of buyers. People are still afraid to leave the house. Several suspected fish sellers and shopkeepers were arrested yesterday. Abu rested for a while at the coffee shop near the hospital. Mak Cek Siti, Umi, Mae and Rendra are accompanying Cut inside.

After yesterday's incident, Abu is increasingly afraid to leave Mae and Rendra at the shophouse. Cut's own condition was increasingly uncertain after the incident. Last night, Cut even screamed in his sleep to the surprise of the entire shophouse.

Only a sigh can be done as a form of complaint over his life. The events written on the front page of the local newspaper further added to the burden of his mind.

The public is always a victim whenever both sides are in conflict. Those who seek only a bite of rice for life are required to accept the burden of fear every day. The sadness of the shop owners who were burned by the authorities was still clearly imagined in Abu's eyes.

Why is it that people who do not understand politics are always the target of an outpouring of anger by the authorities and rebel forces? Here is a question that never found the answer.

“Asslamualaikum, Abu.” the voice of a man came to greet quite startling Abu who was still looking at the front page of the newspaper. Upon seeing his faint face as it was covered by a peci as well as a beard, the streaks of anger from Abu's face became increasingly visible.

“Walaikumsalam.” Answer Ash flat.

“How are you, Abu? How is Cut?”

“As you can see. What you did first now we bear it.”

“Pardon my mistake first, Abu. I came to be responsible. I want to marry Cut and take her with me. I'll accept whatever Cut's circumstances. Please bless us, Abu.”

“You are so thick-faced. After you kidnapped her still dare you meet me for blessing? As long as I live, there is no blessing for you. Go then! Never show your face in front of me or my child!” ash's voice began to rise until it caused the attention of the stall visitors.

“If I can't marry her then don't expect her to marry another man. Only I can marry her. What happened to his fiancee as well as the man in the grocery store was an example. They will die if they dare to come into contact with Cut.”

After nearly an hour at the stall, Abu decided to return to the hospital. Hearing directly the explanation of the doctor is what is awaited by family members.

“How, Doctor?” tanya Mak Cek Siti's.

“Looks like we should be more patient, sir, Buk. What happened yesterday was beyond a doubt. His mentality was not ready to accept let alone see clearly. My advice, Cut better not stay there anymore. Yesterday's events will always appear if he sees the same place.”

“Then Cut will stay with me from now on. Brother and brother also come. It's not safe to stay in the shophouse. The distance of home and market is not far.” Answer Mak Kek Siti.

Abu and Umi said nothing. On the one hand, Cut's healing is the main thing today. But there was something else that Abu feared if they lived there.

After hearing the doctor's explanation, they immediately returned and this time headed for Mak Cek Siti's house.

“How, Bang?” ask Mr. Amir who just came home from the store.

“From now on Brother and family will stay at our house, Dad. The doctor suggested that Cut not see the scene yesterday.”

“Alhamdulillah. Our house becomes crowded and we are not too afraid again if night.” said Mr. Cek Amir happy.

During the recent emergency, Mr. Cek Amir was a little scared when night fell. Coupled with the incident Ridwan, he was increasingly afraid of going everywhere. Open the store only when it is bright and many people in the market. The fear of Mr. Cek Amir is well reasoned. The burning of shophouses and the arrest of several young men in the market area really imprinted on the memory of the crowd.

“Luckily Ridwan did not enter work. Otherwise I don't know what happened to that kid.” Abu Saying.

“Alhamdulillah, Bang. I was no longer able to stand up at that time. Seeing them hit also the screams of the fish traders who were hit was very painful. If it wasn't for making a living, I'd be better off at home. I am also not calm if I see school children.”

“Abang read the newspaper today? In other areas it turns out to be worse than our area. I don't think, how can they do that? Can they live quietly after killing people? Do the screams of these people not haunt them? I hate them more and more. What their parents did not teach kindness so easily they tortured and killed such a person. Their parents must be proud in Java because their son is a soldier. If they see this incident are they still proud of their children?” Mr. Cek Amir evaporated his emotions.
