Chapter 18 - Expressing Feelings

The awaited twilight finally arrived. June immediately changed. He went straight to Julie. Make sure the girl's situation.

"You're okay, aren't you? I'm really worried about you, Julie." June said.

Julie looked at June's face so closely. The leafan is back. Really, he was tired of holding back feelings. How hard Julie got away, June just kept going. Even when such handsome ghosts do not exist.

Tears were pouring down Julie's face. It's really frustrating. Not only because of the terrible incident on the plane, or the state of Shane who has not recovered. But also because of his feelings for June.

June sat down on the bench next to Julie. She was silent as she looked at Julie who was still busy crying out loud.

"What feelings do you feel for me make you tormented? If so, then I would really choose to avoid you forever. I don't want to ruin your precious life, Julie. I'm sorry.." said June.

"Then go from now on... Don't ever show up in front of me again" Julie said. He still buried his face behind the palm.

"alright... Good bye, Julie. I hope you find your happiness" June said. He really left Julie.

This time June left. Even though the twilight is not over. Julie opened her eyes. He circulated his gaze while cleaning his face from the tears.

Julie doesn't know what to be relieved of. She will live her life without June.

"Julie!" axton's voice is heard.

Julie then looked. He saw not only Axton coming. But also Zac and Sasha. Julie's family was overreacting. They were worried about Julie.

After making sure Julie is okay, Zac and Sasha go home first. Both of them let Axton to look after Julie. Given that the girl had to stay because she had to accompany Shane.

Julie had refused to be accompanied, but her family insisted. Axton even canceled an important work-related meeting. The man did it for the sake of his brother.

"He's your secretary?" ask Axton. He and Julie are in the room where Shane is being treated.

"Yes." Yeah." Julie answered briefly. He looks moody.

'Not her. But June.' Julie answered from the heart. He certainly can't tell the truth.

While in the hospital, Julie sees a lot of ghosts. But as usual, he always knew how to pretend not to see. Julie is used to it and gets through it well. Moreover, his heart was so upset.

Shortly after, Paul Davison arrived. The man who is none other than Shane's real father. Because he is also Shane became the target of criminals.

"Mane!" Paul went straight to Shane. He asks about Shane's situation to Julie and Axton.

"Operation Shane is going well. I'm sure she'll be conscious soon" Julie said.

"Thank you for looking after Shane. If you have urgent business, you can just leave. I'm sure you must be exhausted, too" Paul suggested.

"Yes, Mr. Davison. Julie and I were going to leave if someone came for Shane" Axton said, with a nod. "And if Shane wakes up, please thank us" he continued. He leaves the hospital with Julie.

Due to an unexpected incident, Julie's important business meeting in Los Angeles is canceled. He also returned to California.

Ever since expressing her feelings and telling June to leave, Julie grew grim. He is quieter and rarely smiles. Axton and his parents were worried. They even thought about taking Julie to a psychiatrist. But they still did not dare to talk about it to Julie. Because Axton and Sasha knew that Julie would be angry if she had to hear about a psychiatrist.

Day by day passed. Shane resigns from Julie's company. He even only told me by email and official letter. Now Julie is looking for a new secretary to replace Shane.

Julie went into the office to get the bag. He stared at the window and saw that twilight had just arrived.

June was indeed the only figure that lately made her laugh and smile. Julie now wants that feeling back. He no longer cares about the fact that June is a ghost.

Without a second thought, Julie left the company. He comes to places where he sees June often.

"June!" call Julie in a loud voice. Some people who passed by even looked towards him.

"June! Looking you! Please appear! Forgive me the other day" exclaimed Julie. He was already unconcerned with the astonished gazes of the people around.

Unbeknownst to Julie, June observes from afar. Ghosts do it secretly every day. Even when Julie kicked him out. From afar, June can hear Julie calling her name. He wanted to ascertain in advance whether what he heard was real or not.

Julie ran while looking around. Wish he could see June.

'Don't tell me he's in Los Angeles? Can't ghosts come back that easy?' julie wondered. That's when June appeared from behind.

"You're really looking for me?" ask June.

Julie turned her body to face June. He smiled and said, "I miss you! I don't care what you are. I just want to be happy!"

June smiled broadly at it. She hugged Julie. The same thing the girl did. But June's body just pierced through Julie's body. As a result, Julie almost fell. The two forget that they cannot touch each other.
