Chapter 52 - Shane's Decree

Due to heartache, Shane did not return home. He was intentionally alone to think. Shane was trying to make the right choice.

June, meanwhile, continues to be on Shane's side. He made sure of the man's condition. He intends to wait until Shane has made a unanimous choice.

One day is gone. Julie wondered why Shane wouldn't show up. He then contacted the man.

Some of Julie's calls went unanswered by Shane. Of course it was not ordinary for him. Shane likes Julie a lot. The woman can only wait.

"Is he mad at me? Did June do something without my knowledge?" julie wondered. She felt June and Shane were hiding something from her. Julie will make sure when she meets them later.

Shane's actually still in the office. He looked towards the window. He thinks hard. Use logic or the heart.

"Alright, June. I'll make a choice" Shane murmured as he picked up the phone. She recorded herself in video mode.

"I wanted to tell you before that I still have a hard time believing. But when I think about all the strange things that have happened to me, I believe everything is indeed your work. I'm sure you're the one who bought the diamond ring for Julie, right?" Shane. Like I was talking to June.

Coinciding with that, dusk arrived. June's form changed immediately. The man looked ruffled around his waist while staring at Shane.

"You stupid or innocent, Shane? Really, you don't have to do that to communicate with me" June said.

Shane obviously couldn't hear. He keeps recording himself with his cell phone.

"I've been thinking for a day all night. I didn't even go home because of this." Shane suddenly showed a sad face. However it did not last long, he immediately carved a smile on his face.

"What's your decision, Shane?" ask June curiously. He sat down next to Shane. Listen carefully.

"I decided I would agree to be a victim. That's my decision." Shane said it while forcing himself to keep a smile.

June looked at Shane's nano. Shane's decision made him feel troubled. Is that Shane's love for Julie?

"I did it because it was Julie's choice. He was reckless to set me up just because he wanted to get you back." Shane said. "I'm willing to give up if my defeat can make Julie happy" he continued, slowly bowed. Then stop recording.

Shane is trying hard. His eyes returned to tears. Being ready to be a victim is not easy. That could be a scary thing.

"You've always been the one who can make Julie happy. I wonder why I keep showing up between the two of you." shirih Shane who finally sobbed. He covered his face with his two palms.

After hearing Shane's decision, June leaves. But he didn't see Julie, but Molly.

"really? She's willing to fall for your love and Julie's?" Molly is shocked by Shane's choice.

"Unexpected, right? Though I was prepared that Shane refused," said June.

"I'm sure if Shane refuses, you'll be more determined to make it fall. Didn't we?" guess Molly.

"You're right." June nodded.

Molly smiled as she shook her head. "The good can sometimes relieve a person's evil intentions," he said.

"You're right." The second time June nodded.

Molly looked lazily. "What's your plan now? Wouldn't it be that if Shane agreed to become a victim everything would improve?" tanyakanya.

"I knew. I was just thinking of a way to convince Julie that we could do the binding ritual right away" June explained.

"Hm... I think you should talk to Shane first. Because he's the one who's gonna be the victim, right? Maybe Shane wants to do something before he really leaves this world" Molly said.

June stuck. When Shane hears about to leave, again a feeling of guilt haunts him. Somehow he felt he could not let the man sacrifice.

June took a long breath. "It seems that now I need time to think. See you, Molly!" he said it just disappeared.

On the other hand, Julie sat with a tinge of bored face on the sofa. He stood up when the door was open. The person he was later to attend. He is none other than Shane.

"Mane!" exclaim Julie. "Where have you been? Why didn't you answer my phone?" tanyanya.

"I have an urgent job. Sorry, it makes you anxious" said Shane in a bowed state. He reluctantly looks at Julie because of her disappointment.

"really? You should've told me," responded Julie.

Shane smiled thinly. "I want to take a break, right away" he said as he just went to the room.

Julie stunned. He felt Shane's attitude changed. The man felt colder than before.
