Ghost Dusk
Chapter 32 - Starting the Plan

...༻◈༺...

Feeling like he told her everything, Axton told Julie to go to sleep. He promises to help Julie uncover the truth that is still unknown.

Julie curled up in bed. He was thinking about June.

"I wish I could remember everything more, June.." murmured Julie. June herself always accompanied him around.

Julie tried to sleep. But it can't. The connection of the Davison family is also not separated from his mind.

Julie couldn't sleep all night. He got out of bed when time showed at six in the morning.

"Hi, June. If only you could change shape at sunrise, too" Julie said. He passed through the form of June which was still in a state of orange smoke.

Julie immediately cleaned herself into the bathroom. After that, he called Axton. Julie asked her sister for help to go to the police station.

Axton was hesitant. Because he's been to the police station several times and the results are nil.

Because Julie forced it, Axton finally willing to accompany Julie to leave. Both have arrived at the police station. Julie reveals that she was with June during the accident.

"Sorry, Miss. We've closed the case you mentioned. And we've guaranteed that the accident that happened to June Stevens was an accident." That was the answer from a policeman named Bruce.

"You're wrong! I was with June at the time! I'm the bride-to-be!" Julie insists.

"Sorry, Miss. We've got a lot of problems to deal with." Bruce just walked away. He appeared to be dealing with another whistleblower.

"But-"

"Julie..." Axton. He doesn't want Julie to make a fuss. The man immediately took her out of the police station. Then buy me a glass of warm chocolate.

"I didn't think it would be difficult." Julie put on a blank look. The warm chocolate Axton gave him didn't catch.

"That's why I'm increasingly convinced that the Davison family is involved" Axton responded. "Maybe it's best to forget about it. Anyway, everything has passed. You-"

"No! I have to find out, Ax! How to." Julie stand. He rushed into Axton's car. That way Axton knows that he wants to leave quickly.

Axton takes Julie back to the office. Her car just pulled up in front of Julie's company.

"You want to go to Greece with me and Agnes? I-i-"

"No. Thank you." Thank you." Julie answered firmly. He rushed down from his car.

Now Julie is trying to focus on work. From earlier, June's form continued to lead to sheets of paper piled up on the table.

"What's the matter, June?" ask Julie while frowning.

Once examined, it turns out that since June pointed towards a sheet of paper that shows Shane's life history. Considering Shane used to work as a secretary, it's no wonder Julie had the dossier.

Julie shook her head strongly. He almost forgot that June could not interact with him while in the form of orange smoke.

"Tell me when dusk comes" Julie said. Talk to June.

A few hours late. Dusk has finally arrived. Julie has just left the company. She accidentally waits for June in the park to speak freely. The place is far from the crowd.

"Julie! I have an amazing idea so we can find evidence sooner. I'm sure you'll be surprised!" june exclaimed immediately as her form changed.

"Tell me what it is!" Julie's eyelids are widened.

"There's a secret you don't know about Shane!" said June.

"How did you know? Is your memory back?" ask Julie.

"No. That's not. Coincidentally when I went to Shane's apartment, I saw him have a picture of you. I'm sure Shane's secretly harboring feelings for you."

"My photocopy?"

"Yes, photos. Said Shane got your picture because of the accident. I don't even understand what that means."

"Had to be nervous near me. But what does Shane's feeling have to do with our problems?"

"You can approach him to find out the Davison family's motive."

Julie's pupils were enlarged. He feels that June's idea is pretty good. Despite that, Julie's countenance immediately turned flat. He couldn't bear to play with Shane's feelings.

"Don't that mean we're just using Shane?" said Julie.

"Indeed right. But do you have a better idea?" june replied, raising two hands in the air.

Julie shook weakly. He had not thought of anything else now. Julie thinks for a moment. At the end, he finally decided he would try out June's idea.

"I'll call Shane." Julie took the phone from the bag. He called Shane immediately.

"Hello, Shane!" greet Julie.

"Ju-julie?" Shane stuttered. Looks like he didn't expect to get a call from Julie.

"Are you busy tonight? I want to pay for dinner that we didn't have to do."

"Eat dinner?"

"Yes, can you?" Julie answered while looking at June. Awaiting Shane's decision.

"Of course, Julie. I'm willing! I mean I'm gonna have dinner with you." Shane sounded so enthusiastic. Julie then nodded. Giving the code to June that Shane agrees. The handsome ghost smiled.
