Chapter 62 - Metaphor of Death

Julie getting ready. Before going to see Madam Sharon, she and June have to wait for Shane first.

"Julie, is there anything you want to say before the binding ritual is performed?" ask June.

Julie was silent for a moment. He immediately thought about his feelings. But at the end of Julie, she nodded. "Nothing" he answered.

"You've been feeling very different lately" June commented.

"Different? Whatchu mean? I'm staying the same as always" responded Julie.

"I mean your attitude towards me. I don't know why? But you kind of kept your distance" June said. He actually wants to provoke Julie's honesty.

Julie was silent again. He looked at June. "Why do you think so. There's nothing to worry about" he stuttered.

"I'm certainly worried. I'm afraid you're hiding your problems from me" June said.

Julie's phone suddenly rang. The guy who called was Axton. His sister asked him about Shane. Remembering the family of the glasses man is being hit by problems. Julie and June's conversation had to stall due to a phone call.

"Shane should be undergoing an investigation at the police station right now" Julie said.

"Did Shane know all this time about the business he's running?" ask Axton to investigate.

"Of course not! Shane was not involved. He was the one who revealed the facts about the Davison family's dirty business. I even helped her."

"So you helped your husband to fall poor? Is that what you mean?" Axton chuckles after saying so.

"Axton! Shane still has me. He will not fall poor! He's a great guy" Julie said.

"You seem to love Shane very much. From then on you didn't stop praising him" Shane commented in a teasing tone.

"What the fuck!" Julie hastily turned off the phone. He turned his head towards June who had heard him talk since.

"I'm just so grateful for what Shane did. Isn't he too nice?" said Julie. It flashed through his mind to save Shane from the binding ritual. But on the other hand, he does not want to make June disappointed. The handsome ghost never stopped hoping.

Julie is in a dilemma. He continued to seek solutions to the uneasiness he felt.

Shortly after, Shane arrived. Julie immediately took him away. He'll take Shane to perform the binding ritual.

Julie pretends to take Shane to dinner. He chose not to say his true intentions because he felt unbearable.

As he was leaving, Shane found his car tyre flat. Strangely the same thing also happened to Julie's car tires. They had to go in a taxi.

Julie mentioned the address of Madam Sharon's residence. He tells the driver without Shane's knowledge. June was sitting in the chair next to the driver.

"Honestly, you guys actually look good. It'll look better if you take off your glasses" chirped the cab driver. He glanced at June. Turns out the taxi driver on duty is in Molly's control. The female ghost helps June make plans.

Shane and Julie respond to Molly with a smile. Julie certainly does not think that the driver is now possessed by Molly.

While June who was sitting next to, reprimanded with a look in the eyes. He told Molly to focus on driving and be quiet.

Molly was silent. He stopped the car at his destination.

"Sorry, Sir. You seem to have the wrong address. I-i-"

"This is right, Julie! Let's go!" June cuts off Julie's words. Then get out first.

"What did you say, Miss?" Molly pretended to respond to Julie's complaint.

"No! It's nothing" Julie said. He and Shane got out of the cab.

Now Julie was eager to ask June. But it can't be because Shane is with him.

June walked first. Julie followed. Shane walks after Julie.

June takes Julie and Shane into a five-star hotel. Before boarding the elevator, June does not forget to whisper the floor that Julie must go to.

"The top floor!" june whispered, which disappeared. Julie had already opened her mouth because she wanted to talk.

"Where are you taking me?" ask Shane. He and Julie were in the elevator.

"Look at it later," Julie replied hesitatingly.

Arriving at the top floor. A waiter named Rachel was waiting.

Again, unbeknownst to Julie, Molly controls Rachel's body.

"Welcome. From here you follow me. I'll show you the place" said Molly. Walk first.

Julie's getting confused. June also has no sight of her existence. However, she and Shane follow Rachel.

It turns out that Rachel took Julie and Shane to the rooftop balcony. There are a lot of candles in different colors.

Along with that, June raises herself.

"How, Julie? Shane's? You like?" ask June.

Julie and Shane are shocked. They're reflexively exchanging views. June spoke as if Julie and Shane had seen her. But that's the fact that it happened.

June approaches Julie and Shane. He smiles.

"What are you doing?" unexpectedly, Julie and Shane ask the same question.

June's smile widened. He grabs Julie and Shane's hand. Then connect the two hands.

"Do you know why there are so many candles here?" said June. Julie and Shane stared at him.

"Because all these candles can explain how life should go. When a candle is finished, it goes out. The candle can't go back to how it was" June explained. He used candles as a metaphor for man's relationship with death. The point is June does not argue that every human being will die. When that happens, nothing else can be fixed. Including returning to life again.

"That's how death should go" June continued.
