Ghost Dusk
Chapter 28 - Forgetting is Not an Easy Thing

Sure enough, when he heard Lucas' voice, Anthony opened the door. That's when Julie came out of hiding. He ran to Anthony.

"Sir William" called Julie with a smile.

"I know it." Anthony nodded in disbelief. From Julie's appearance, she could have guessed that Lucas was the girl's man.

"Now I can go, right?" ask Lucas.

"of course. Thank you, Lucas!" answer Julie. Lucas then moved.

"Have you been around all day? It's almost night. You better go home!" furious Anthony. He was about to close the door. It was stopped by Julie.

"I can see ghosts! And Molly's with me now!" julie exclaimed as she held the door closed.

Anthony squinted his eyes. He put on a serious face. Unexpectedly, Anthony broke into laughter. It shows that he does not trust Julie's statement.

"Looks like you have to prove it, Julie." June. He looked at Molly and continued, "Molly, tell Julie the important experience you had with your father!"

Molly nodded. He immediately tells of an unforgettable incident with Anthony.

"Mr William. Molly told me a story that only she and you knew. When Molly was thirteen, you and her made a cake together. He said you emptied three cookies at once. But you told Molly to keep it a secret from your wife" Julie said. Anthony's laughter stopped. The man speaks a thousand languages.

"Molly also told me that you and she had taken things at the mini market without paying." Julie added another story to convince. His words are based on the story Molly gave.

"How did you know? Who the hell are you?" Anthony stunned.

"Because Molly is with me now" Julie responded.

"But-"

"Now can I come in? I'll tell you everything" Julie. Anthony, who begins to believe, finally lets Julie into the house.

Julie was told to sit on the couch. He and Anthony sat facing each other.

"Molly asked for my help to see you. I'm not actually Molly's schoolmate. But I just got to know Molly yesterday." Julie explained at length.

"He wants you to see me?" Anthony still seems to have trouble digesting what Julie said.

"really. He said he couldn't go to the afterlife because you still haven't given up his death" Julie said.

Anthony mute. Eyes dewy. Until finally he could not hold back the tears. Julie then brought the tissue on the table closer to him.

"I don't want Molly to be forgotten. He was also the only one who always accompanied me. Even when he's gone once" sobbed Anthony. He keeps telling stories. She said Molly never had any friends. When the girl managed to have friends, in the end Molly only became bulian material.

Even when he died, hardly anyone came to Molly's funeral. At that point Anthony felt hurt. No relatives and family came. The funeral was so quiet. The one who accompanied Anthony was only the paid funerals.

"So that's why you don't want me to go?! You are so selfish! Why don't you try to open yourself up?! How can you live like that, Dad? We should never have any friends!" Molly scolded Anthony. He didn't care even if his father didn't listen.

Like Anthony, Molly was crying. "Dad... I have no problem being forgotten. I want your life to be happy... So forget me." he said, crouching before Anthony.

Julie and June who were looking, got carried away. Julie shed her tears.

"Julie, tell my dad about what I said earlier" Molly said.

Julie raised her voice immediately. Anthony was crying hysterically. How can a father forget his only daughter? He and Molly are very close.

"Mr William... If you can't let Molly go, then she can't go to the afterlife. And if that happens, then Molly will become an evil spirit. It's not a good thing for him" Julie said. I hope his words calm Anthony.

"Bad spirits?" Anthony began to cry.

Julie nodded. "If you love him, then let him go." - he said.

Anthony closed his eyes. "I need time to do it. And I really don't know how to do that either. Molly is very important to me" he replied.

June looked at Molly. He knows what Anthony means. Forgetting something takes time. Especially if it has to do with someone dear.

"Your father's right, Molly. He needs time" June said.

Molly nodded. He immediately moved away from Anthony's position.

After saying what needed to be said, Julie said goodbye. He promised to visit again later.

Now Julie is walking down the sidewalk with June. Molly stepped in front of them.

"I hope everything goes well for Molly" murmured Julie.

"It looks like Molly's father just needs regular activities to get over Molly quickly" June said.

Julie looked spontaneously. "That's a great idea, June! I can give him a position to work for my company" he said.

June smiled. He turned his expression serious and said, "I saw Shane in my memory!"

"What's? Shane's? In memories?" Julie automatic wonder.
