Chapter 21 - Strange Memory

Madam Sharon tells Julie that she must bind to a body that matches June's. The owner of the body is none other than Shane.

"What kind of binding do you mean?" ask June. Need further explanation.

"Julie must marry him" replied Madam Sharon.

"What?!" Julie and June are shocked at the same time.

"He's going to be the body that June occupied right? So he automatically he has to get used to being by your side" explained Madam Sharon.

"But being married to Shane will be felt..." Julie doesn't know what to say. The thought of marrying Shane herself never crossed his mind.

"If you can't, you have. You guys better go home. He said he wanted to be together, but just heard the first condition had given up" said Madam Sharon while crossing her arms in front of her chest.

June and Julie exchanged a glance. They seemed to be talking through that look.

"We want to hear all the ways first" June said.

"If I'm married to Shane, what should June and I do?" ask Julie.

"You should be able to get Shane to agree to perform the binding ritual. After that, June can have Shane's body!" said Madam Sharon. He looks like he's turning off his cigarette.

"I went to Shane's apartment. I think Shane suffered enough with his life. She's uncomfortable being part of the Davison family."

"really? That must be heavy. Being part of the Davison family is not easy. I know Shane's parents are separated." Julie looked sad. "Tell me where the apartment is. I want to take her to dinner. Besides, you couldn't have helped me in that plane incident if you hadn't gotten into Shane. We should be thanking him, and not making a crash" he added.

June could not argue. He told me where Shane's apartment is. Both decided to go straight to the place.

Julie took the elevator. When the elevator doors opened, June with orange smoke flew first to show the way. Until he arrives at the door of Shane's apartment unit.

Julie breathed out of her mouth. Then press the doorbell. A few minutes later, the door opened.

Shane looks very surprised to see the arrival of Julie. He froze and was confused as to what to say. The presence of Julie always managed to make her tongue.

"Mane! I'm worried about you because you suddenly resigned." Julie gave a reason for his arrival.

"I-i..."

"Can I come in?" Julie took one step forward.

"Sit down" said Shane.

"I'm not sure a son of Paul Davison lives in a place like this" Julie said.

Shane scratched the nape that was not itchy. Actually, the reason she quit Julie's company was because of her revealing identity. He feels guilty for lying to Julie.

Julie smiled thinly. "Of course not. You saved me on the plane anyway" he said.

Shane gasp. He was confused as to what to say. How not? He did not remember the slightest incident on the plane. What he did to Julie happened out of consciousness. That's only natural, because Shane was possessed by June.

"You want to have dinner with me? Honestly, the incident on the plane left me quite shocked. I'm sure you feel that way too. I feel like you're the only one who knows how I feel" Julie said.

"Dining with you?" Shane's pupils dilated.

"Yes." Yeah." Julie nodded confidently.

"I'll get ready!" Shane was so happy. He got up from his seat. But his steps stopped because he forgot something to offer. "Ah, right. You want something to drink?" bargained for.

"No need to bother, Shane. I can have a drink at dinner tonight" Julie said.

Shane nodded clumsily. He hurriedly changed his clothes. Shane was now standing in front of the mirror. Patting his cheeks in turn. Determine if what happened is real or not.

"This is not a dream! I'm going to dinner with Julie!" shane shouted in a slow tone. As a person who loved Julie in silence, she certainly felt peerless happiness.

Shane brushed his hair neatly. Then wear the best clothes. She and Julie immediately went together to have dinner. The two walked together on the sidewalk. June who was in the form of orange smoke always watched around them.

"Shane, tell me. How did you get to know me in High School? Because honestly, I can't remember you" Julie said as she continued to step along with Shane.

"You won't be able to remember me. I'm just an unpopular nerd at school. Contrary to you," Shane said.

"Did you also deliberately cover up your identity as Paul Davison's son?"

"Yes." Yeah." Shane answered briefly. He is not ready to explain everything. Especially the complicated relationship between his family.

"May I know why?" Julie asked doubtfully.

"There's a reason." Shane still refuses to tell.

Julie nodded and tried to understand. "Whatever it is, I wish you all the best" he said, gently touching Shane's shoulder.

When it was about to cross, suddenly there was a car that collided with a truck. It all happened right in front of Julie and Shane's eyes. Both of them and the people there were very shocked by the unexpected incident.

It was then that Julie felt a very piercing headache. He saw a strange glint in his memory. June's face! He saw the man driving the car. While Julie sees herself sitting next to June. The girl saw a truck hit their car. Julie can see clearly June hugging her and trying to protect her.

The memory Julie saw continued. She also saw herself wearing a wedding dress. The memory that came suddenly made Julie's head tormented. Until the girl can no longer support her body.

"Julie!!!" shane panicked. He immediately caught Julie who was about to fall to the ground. The girl fainted.
