I'M Nathasya Gustari

I'M Nathasya Gustari
Grandpas

The closer the relationship between Tara and Mentari becomes. Makes Caca feel relieved. Because his daughter could feel the affection of his biological father.

So does Tara who fulfills her duty as a father. Every weekend they go for a walk. Satisfying Mentari visited every tourist spot that the child had never done so far.

The conditions that made Caca hide his existence and the child, so great to take away the freedom of his son.

"What if next time we go out of town? or maybe abroad?"

The streets were quite congested as they exited the amusement park in the afternoon. The weekend has the streets filled with tourists like them. Spend the weekend with loved ones or loved ones.

Caca looked at her ex-husband disapprovingly. "Mas has a lot of work in the office. So do I. The walk here is enough. There are still a lot of places we haven't been."

Tara clucking. "I want to see my son, Ca."

"Enough with your presence among us, it has made us happy. No need to overdo it." Caca looked straight ahead. Look at the creeping vehicle. Unable to move quickly.

Tara smiled meaningfully and turned to look at her ex-wife. "So.. You happy with my presence, Ca?"

"Eh?" Caca surprised. Not realizing what he said before. Makes the woman wrong. "I-I mean Mentari, mas. Which mother is not happy to see her son happy."

Nervous Caca turned his face to look out the window. Their exhausted daughter was already asleep in the back seat.

"Picture it that way. But I'll assume that makes my heart happy. I'll assume if you're happy with my whereabouts."

Caca did not answer or respond to anything. She was indeed happy with Tara's presence back in her life. People who long for their presence.

No matter how hard Caca tried to kill her feelings for Tara all this time. His love persists with his pride.

After nearly an hour of traffic jams, the road begins to smooth as Tara takes the road to her parents' house.

"Lho. We're going to Grandma's, um?" Tara didn't say anything before if they were going to the man's parents' house.

"Yes. Mama and papa want to meet Mentari. You know for yourself if Mentari their only grandchild. The grandchild they've wanted for a long time."

The woman who was folding her hands in front of her chest glanced cynically. "I'm his grandson too."

"Gosh Ca. They consider you their son-in-law. I also don't want to be considered your father. I want to be your husband in front of everyone."

Caca ignored Tara. He didn't want to be too hopeful to admit it in front of everyone. Simply by seeing her daughter happy with her biological father, that was enough for Caca.

The big house is pretty quiet. Only a few servants were doing their duties.

The two twilight-aged men and women they were looking for were enjoying their afternoon air in the back garden. Where mama Shinta plants many vegetables that are easy to care for to fill the time.

"Assalamualaikum, mah, pah."

The two people who were sitting leisurely with their cups of tea each turned to the door where the voice greeting them came from.

Both riveted. Not only because they were surprised to hear the son only wayang they said hello. But also the existence of two women of different generations who also stood there.

Mama Shinta first melted from her freezing. The middle-aged woman stood up and went straight to the little girl whose eyes were still mute looking still sleepy.

"Hallo beautiful. Remember grandma?" mama asked Shinta after hugging and kissing the little girl.

Mentari. "Mama said, if anyone said that greeting in reply, Grandma. We should pray for each other."

Caca smiled clumsily, while Tara gave a smile. His family was not a devout family. It can be said that religion for them is only limited to filling out resident sign cards.

So did Caca. But after going through many life lessons. Especially his solitude after leaving the house. With the guidance of doctor Risma, Caca better know who God is for him. Doctor Risma said, Everyone may leave us, but not with God.

And when feeling alone at the time, Caca wasn't very sad. Because there is a God with him.

From then on, Caca began to get closer to studying religion. Carrying out obligations even though you cannot say an expert in worship. At least he can change for the better when he has children.

Mama Shinta chuckles. "Ooh yeah grandma forgot. Waalaikumsal. Grandma's happy that Dance wants to come to Grandma's house."

"The father invited. It's not Dance that asks." replied the little girl innocently. Because I didn't feel like bringing my parents into that house.

Caca ignored the grandmother who was giving up longing for her grandson. Caca's gaze looked at the sturdy man with bluish eyes who was looking at him softly.

It was unexpected that the middle-aged man walked up to Caca and rested at the young lady's feet.

"Grandfather!" peekik Caca who immediately sat down. "Grandfather what are you doing? wake up cake."

There was a sound from the middle-aged man. "I'm sorry grandpa, Ca. Forgive Grandpa's son who ruined your future. Forgive grandfather for being so emotional that he ignores you and makes you leave this house."

"Not cake. Grandpa wasn't wrong." Caca clasped the fingers that were old belonging to the man who was looking down in begging for his forgiveness.

"You must be having trouble out there. Pregnant and giving birth alone. Take care of your own son."

Caca's eyes heat up and shed tears that vying to wet his cheeks.

He never thought the first thing he got after coming back to the house was an apology from someone who shouldn't have done it.

The man even sobbed and continued to apologize to Caca. Mama Shinta also Tara had persuaded her father to stop and help the man stand up. But the man insisted on staying calm until he got an apology from Caca.

"Caca sorryin grandpa. Because it's not Grandpa's fault. And Caca forgot what happened. Right now the most important thing for Caca is Mentari. Grandpa's granddaughter." Caca pulled his daughter's hand to get closer.

"Know kek. It's Mentari, grandfather's granddaughter."

Papa Tara looked at the little girl in front of him. The teary face was still smiling when he saw the little girl. Especially when the little girl unexpectedly hugged herself.

"Dari has a grandfather. Mentari's friends all have you, cake. Only Tari does not have. And now that Dance has a grandfather too." the boy who was still confused by the sadness that was there was happy to know Tara's father. The grandfather he never had. Only the mother of Rian whom he considered a grandmother.
