To Ling Zhen the current condition of Jihao City was very different. Where the entire population looks depressed, some residents greet him but they look like they feel sorry for him.

“Welcome Young Master Ling, hope you are well.”

“Young Master Ling, where is Miss Ji?”

Ling Zhen noticed the two expressions on the faces of the residents who greeted him. The two middle-aged women who greeted him were the employees of the Blue Moon Pavilion.

“Quite bases. Tell me, what's going on in this city as long as my wife and I are gone?” Ling Zhen stared intently at the two middle-aged women asking for an explanation.

Xue Lianhua reprimanded seeing her husband's unstable emotions, “Gege, you scared them. I can already guess it if anyone threatens them or scares them with power.”

“I understand Lian. I won't get out of control.” Ling Zhen let out a long sigh and calmed himself down. He felt that all this was his fault. Making Ji Yanran endure everything and having Ji Yanran come with him only ended up in the situation that he was in.

“Young Master Ling, actually-”

“I guess who, it turns out Young Master Ling.” Just as the middle-aged woman was about to explain the truth about Qian Yu disappearing, Hu Gu appeared with his smile.

“You who?” Ling Zhen's expression showed no interest. His gaze was cold and seemed to dislike Hu Gu's attitude.

“Did you forget? I'm Uncle Hu, Aunt Qian's husband.” The man introduced himself, but his eyes looked surprised at Xue Lianhua's beauty.

“Uncle Hu? Sorry uncle, I only remember Aunt Qian.” Ling Zhen's reply made Hu Gu resist his frustration.

‘This rancid boy! He brought such a beautiful woman! No Miss Ji, but this beautiful woman can too!’ Hu Gu swept his gaze over Xue Lianhua's body.

“Where's Aunt Qian? Is he not with Uncle Hu?” Ling Zhen stood before Hu Gu and stared coldly at the man.

“Stop staring at my wife, uncle.” Ling Zhen closed his eyes and smiled.

“Oh, the... My wife is not feeling well so I greet you.” Hu Gu's reply and facial expression made Ling Zhen suspicious.

As Ling Zhen learned something was amiss with Hu Gu, a huge amount of murderous aura appeared and attacked the two middle-aged women.

Xue Lianhua immediately protected the two middle-aged women, whereas Ling Zhen held back the slash of the swordsman who came charging out using his palm.

“How is it possible?! He held my slash with his bare hands?” That man was none other than Dan Zuan.

“Oi, Brother Dan! Are you playing around?” The other Swordsman appeared with a hundred Black Wolf members behind him. The warrior was none other than Huang Xan.

“No, Chairman Huang. I'm not serious!” And Zuan twisted his body and slashed his sword full of energy in eyeing Ling Zhen's neck.

Ling Zhen half-stepped away from Dan Zuan's sword slash, then he unleashed a punch on Dan Zuan's stomach that sent the man bouncing his body against Hu Gu.

“Since I first saw you, I've disliked you Uncle Hu. You look disgusting in my eyes.” Ling Zhen said coldly while releasing his bodily aura.

“So you guys are a bunch of assholes who are harassing this city?” Ling Zhen unleashed a Death Aura belonging to the Death God making the entire Black Wolf members have difficulty breathing and moving.

“Damn it! You tricked us?!” And Zuan had not expected to feel fear after seeing Ling Zhen. The man held Hu Gu's collar and looked at him full of anger.

“I get information from my wife! This must be the right information! Why are you scared? I've tortured my wife over and over again even when she didn't want to tell me anything about that damn young man!” Hu Gu shouted.

“How could you be afraid of him, Brother Dan? Let me go forward, after I kill him. I'm the first to satisfy a beautiful woman there, after that it's your turn.” Huang Xan mockingly approached Ling Zhen.

“Labour boy acts like a weak noble. I'll kill you quickly-”

“So you said an interesting thing, didn't you?” Ling Zhen pierced Huang Xan's mouth with the Life-Destroying Sword. The two middle-aged women that Xue Lianhua was guarding cried out hysterically at how Ling Zhen did not hesitate to thrust the Lifeless Sword into Huang Xan's mouth.

“One finger touches my woman and I will kill you!” After that Ling Zhen ended Huang Xan's life so quickly that he had not even received a single attack from the man.

“Next you. Take it easy, I will make sure you die in the most horrendous way.” Ling Zhen stared coldly at Hu Gu, Dan Zuan as well as the entire Black Wolf members.

“Why is it like this?!” And Zuan was frightened and attacked Hu Gu.

“You!” Hu Gu's eyes glared sharply at Dan Zuan who was piercing his stomach.

“Feel! All this information is not true!” And Zuan smiled widely after seeing Hu Gu die.

“Young Master Ling, please let me live. I will explain everything to you about this group of Black Wolves and this person named Hu Gu.” And Zuan smiled palely towards Ling Zhen.

Ling Zhen sheathed the Lifeless Sword and stared coldly at Dan Zuan who approached him, “Depending on your explanation and your honesty! I won't hesitate to kill you if you lie to me!”

”I won't lie to you, Young Master Ling.” After seeing Ling Zhen believe his words, Dan Zuan told him all of Huang Xan and Hu Gu's plans as well as the ambitions of the Black Wolf intending to resurrect the martial world of the Qing Empire with black streams as its pillars.

Hearing Dan Zuan's story made Ling Zhen's two eyeballs darken. His eyes were so cold and gloomy as Dan Zuan told of Hu Gu torturing Qian Yu that even shut Qian Yu in the basement.

Even worse, Hu Gu did not hesitate to peddle Qian Yu's body to the members of the Black Wolf. Although it had not been done yet, but Hu Gu's actions made Ling Zhen feel sinful to Qian Yu because his first wife entrusted the Blue Moon Pavilion to the middle-aged woman.

“We have not touched Manager Qian because we intend to do so when we succeed in killing you, Young Master Ling.”

Ling Zhen who saw Dan Zuan's expression instantly created an invisible sword formed from the aura of his body.

About a thousand invisible swords formed and unsheathed the entire body of the Black Wolf members including Dan Zuan.

Xue Lianhua let out a long sigh looking at Ling Zhen's rapidly developing abilities thus far. Her husband had killed two Early Stage Sky Swordsmen like turning a palm alone.

As the flames grew, Ling Zhen directed the flames at the bodies of Huang Xan, Dan Zuan, Hu Gu and the rest of the Black Wolves.

Their bodies all vanished without a trace. As Ling Zhen ended the group of Black Wolves as well as Hu Gu, the townspeople hiding inside the house came out and shouted.

“Welcome back to Jihao City, Young Master Ling!"

“Sorry we don't welcome you!”

“At last we were free! Thank goodness!”

Ling Zhen looked at all the townspeople who were saying thanks to him. He doesn't like moments like this, so Ling Zhen only silently sculpted for a while before going towards the basement of the Flower Kingdom Pavilion led by the two middle-aged women who were the employees of the Flower Kingdom Pavilion.

Xue Lianhua who was walking beside Ling Zhen smiled, “Gege, you were so dashing just now.”

Looking at Ling Zhen's flushed cheeks made Xue Lianhua's heart thump and made her face turn red.

“Stop Lian, you're embarrassing me.” Ling Zhen averted his gaze not wanting Xue Lianhua to see her who was holding back that shame.
