It had been two weeks, Ling Zhen was enjoying his time with Chu Xiulan and Yue Rou. Countless wedding rooms bear silent witness to the three of them wading through a long night together.
Ling Zhen looked at the bodies of Chu Xiulan and Yue Rou who were lying limp in one bed. She dried her hair while smiling faintly.
“You two wake up, it's noon.” Ling Zhen was already dressed neatly and was intending to discuss the journey back to the Qing Empire.

Chu Xiulan's eyes closed while that faint smile made Ling Zhen aware.

“It's worth it every time we do it, I feel like I see someone's memory.” Chu Xiulan muttered softly before adding, “We better do it more regularly, Zhenargege.”
Again Chu Xiulan looked full of enthusiasm, in contrast to Yue Rou who looked timid.
“So that's why I saw someone's memory..” Yue Rou muttered softly while playing her hair.
Ling Zhen laughed seeing the two different expressions of his two wives, “Maybe I want you guys to be happy. I will do anything to protect your smile.”
Ling Zhen looked at the faces of Chu Xiulan and Yue Rou meaningfully. Both of his wives have the burden they carry and are different from ordinary women.
It was truly incredible for Ling Zhen to have both wives like Chu Xiulan and Yue Rou. And of course the news of this marriage spread quickly all the way to the Jia Empire and the Qing Empire.
