With Yue Rou's current abilities, naturally tracking down the existence of the Demon Beast was not a difficult matter, either, however after seeing for yourself how the White Fox disappeared from him without leaving a trace of smell and feet certainly made Yue Rou flustered.

Finally Yue Rou chose to return to her room and rest. He wished for Ling Zhen to come see him soon, but until morning came back, Ling Zhen did not come to greet even no sign of his presence.

Yue Rou became worried so she went to see Chu Xiulan after taking a morning shower. It appeared that Chu Xiulan was discussing something with Adviser Xiong. Upon seeing Yue Rou's presence into Chu Xiulan's private dining room, immediately Adviser Xiong left.

Yue Rou looked at Counselor Xiong with a dislike look, ‘What is this old rascal doing in the Queen's dining room?’

“Queen, have you seen Zhenzhen?” Yue Rou asked enthusiastically and hoped that Chu Xiulan would find out.

Chu Xiulan shook her head, “I didn't see it. Didn't you guys do that last night, it's weird that you ask me?”

Chu Xiulan deliberately teased Yue Rou. Seeing that his right hand was blushing in shame made Chu Xiulan laugh in a giggle. But the guilt crept all over his body.

If Yue Rou knew the person who had made Ling Zhen disappear was Chu Xiulan, this woman would not be embarrassed given the events last night where she and Ling Zhen were naked.

“We haven't done it..” Yue Rou replied so slowly.

Chu Xiulan signaled Yue Rou to sit down and have breakfast with her.

“Yue Rou, today accompany me to visit the grave of Mother.” Invite Chu Xiulan while looking at Yue Rou with a pleading gaze.

“I want you all day with me, Yue Rou.” Chu Xiulan added.

Actually Chu Xiulan followed the words of Adviser Xiong who told him to be with Yue Rou for a full day.

To Adviser Xiong the figure of Yue Rou was the biggest stone that would block his plan. The woman that the members failed to kill would certainly cause trouble if knowing that Chu Xiulan would bring her to the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Yue Rou nodded and accepted Chu Xiulan's request asking her to be with the woman for a full day.

“Alright, Queen. But I'm worried about Zhenzhen.” Yue Rou sat down beside Chu Xiulan while hoping to be anxious about Ling Zhen's state.

Hearing that Chu Xiulan smiled wryly, ‘You are really lucky to be in love with such a big man, Yue Rou. While I only used Ling Zhen for wanting to run away from the shadow of Mother's death.’

Chu Xiulan looked sad and lowered her head. Seeing that, Yue Rou gently held onto Chu Xiulan's hand and shook her body slowly as Chu Xiulan looked dreamy.

“Queen? Are you okay?” Yue Rou watched Chu Xiulan's slightly paled face.

Chu Xiulan immediately shook her head and smiled, “I'm fine Yue Rou. It's just that I miss the figure of Mother, tomorrow is the anniversary of her death is not it?”

Yue Rou nodded her head and could see Chu Xiulan's sadness. He himself knew that Chu Xiulan who often told him about wanting to meet his late mother.

“Yue Rou, do you think if I die will I be able to meet with Mother?” Chu Xiulan asked. There was no joking feeling on Chu Xiulan's face.

“Queen, suicide is not an option. Haven't we agreed to live together and fight it all together.” Yue Rou held onto Chu Xiulan's trembling hand.

“Yue Rou, I'm sorry. Sorry..” Chu Xiulan cried to Yue Rou.

In the end Chu Xiulan and Yue Rou visited Mother Chu Xiulan's mending meal. The two spent time cleaning the tomb, after which they spent time in Chu Xiulan's room sleeping together.

Yue Rou hugged Chu Xiulan's crying body. For the entire day Chu Xiulan cried like a child. Yue Rou wanted to look for Ling Zhen who had suddenly disappeared, yet she did not have the heart to leave Chu Xiulan just like that because after all she had seen for herself how Chu Xiulan tried to kill herself while feeling lonely.

Until it didn't feel like the morning was coming back. That morning Chu Xiulan said goodbye to Yue Rou to go with the Xiong Adviser to discuss economic matters even though the real Chu Xiulan invited the Xiong Adviser to the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Meanwhile Yue Rou went to look for Ling Zhen's whereabouts all over the corner of Chudong Capital, yet she did not find him.

“Nona Yue, yesterday where were you? Do you not know if I am waiting for your own arrival here?” Lei Wei looked at Yue Rou meaningfully.

Yue Rou explained to Lei Wei that she was accompanying Chu Xiulan and could not just leave Empress Chu behind.

“Then I don't have to worry too much, because I thought you went with the young man.” Lei Wei smiled and looked relieved.

Yue Rou stared intently at Lei Wei because of the man's remark, “What do you mean?”

“Nothing, Miss Yue. Don't you want to know the chat of the Queen and Counselor Xiong? I heard Counselor Xiong forced Queen Chu to kill a young man named Ling Zhen.” Lei Wei again smiled full of tact after seeing Yue Rou's reaction.

“Cannot..” Yue Rou looks in disbelief, “You I'll kill if I joke!”

Yue Rou did not hesitate to release a large amount of murderous aura to Lei Wei.

“Aren't you supposed to welcome me? It's better if we both chat inside.” Lei Wei turned his head towards Chu Palace which looked so desolate.

Yue Rou had only realized it because after all she did not see the Red Cloud Army standing guard around Chu Palace. Of course all of this made him feel worried about Chu Xiulan's condition.

“Alright let's get inside. By the way where is the Red Cloud Army? And why are the waiters not there?” Yue Rou asked.

“Didn't the Queen tell all the servants of Chu Palace and the eunuchs to go home this morning. As for the Red Cloud Army, they are getting a task from me to supervise Counselor Xiong.”

Lei Wei explained to Yue Rou if Counselor Xiong had Queen Chu take her to the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Hearing that Yue Rou was shocked, her hand held the doorknob in a tremble, “Queen, what exactly are you thinking? Wasn't the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess not to be visited by anyone but the person surnamed Chu. Even me though.”.

Lei Wei went into the dining room and made a warm tea, then put a little stimulant concoction into the tea that she was going to serve Yue Rou.

“Miss Yue, we should drink first. I'll explain everything about something I heard.” Lei Wei sat down while putting two warm teas on the table.

Yue Rou obeyed Lei Wei's invitation and saw the man sipping warm tea favorably. Then he slowly sipped the warm tea that was served to him.

“Alright, I will tell you about the chat of Counselor Xiong and Queen Chu..” Lei Wei began to tell Chu Xiulan that she had obeyed the wishes of Counselor Xiong for wanting her late mother to be raised from the dead.

It sounded very impossible, yet Chu Xiulan obeyed all of Xiong's Advisory orders including killing Ling Zhen, instead, having Yue Rou chat all day so as not to be able to see the movements of the Xiong Advisors included bringing her into the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Lei Wei noticed the restless Yue Rou as time went by, she walked up to Yue Rou and held onto the woman's shoulder.

“And I am one of the people who will take advantage of the Queen's kindness.” Lei Wei whispered in Yue Rou's ear and breathed out lustfully.

“I am the leader of the Night Goddess Clan who intends to subvert Queen Chu as an offering to the Demon Worshiping Sect, my dear.” Back Lei Wei breathed out his lustful breath.

Yue Rou stood up and stared intently at the resembling Lei Wei, “You must not be impudent, Lei Wei!”

Lei Wei laughed and took off her top clothes, “We'd better go to your room, Rou!”

Lei Wei forcibly withdrew Yue Rou, there was no meaningful resistance from Yue Rou who had been under the influence of the stimulating effect.

He kicked at the door of Yue Rou's room and threw her roughly into the woman's body. Lei Wei closed the door violently and stared meaningfully at Yue Rou's body lying on the bed.

“You are very beautiful tonight, Rouder..” Lei Wei approached Yue Rou's body and began to overlap the body of the woman who had long been her obsession.
