IW 36 - Cruel Death

Panic ensued along the way, as Ling Zhen rushed towards the residence of the Blue Moon Pavilion. But arriving in front of the building, he found hundreds of military soldiers of the Wang family and warriors of the Greed Fortress sprawled out even some of them were dead.

Ling Zhen shook his head seeing Yue Rou helping Aunt Qian and the Blue Moon Pavilion.

“Junk, is there anything you want to say? I'll cut off your head painlessly!” As Yue Rou was threatening Wang Huang, Ling Zhen immediately landed beside Yue Rou and held her wrist.

“Test your courage, for daring to touch my hand!” Yue Rou threw out her hand, Ling Zhen immediately let go.

“Senior Yue, we've already slept in bed. So you don't have to keep your distance from me.” Ling Zhen smiled faintly and took a step closer to Wang Huang.

Yue Rou face flushed for a moment, “How dare you say that to me!”

Ling Zhen ignored Yue Rou and looked coldly at Wang Huang who was sculpting, “Tell me, did you kill the Mayor's family? Depending on your answer, I will decide to kill you or not.”.

Wang Huang retreated backwards to stumble, “You! How dare you threaten me! Are you not-”

Ling Zhen grabbed Wang Huang's hair as well as strangled his neck, “Shut up and answer my question! It's order!”

Noticing the many townspeople gathered around the building of the Blue Moon Pavilion, Ling Zhen flew over carrying Wang Huang towards the outside of the city.

The location Ling Zhen was aiming for was the forest. After arriving at the forest, Ling Zhen dropped Wang Huang's body and kicked him.

“Maybe because of my past, every time I smell this scent.” Ling Zhen stared coldly at Wang Huang and kicked his face without any inner strength, “It makes me so sick!”

Wang Huang fell to the ground and grimaced in pain. He never thought there was a warrior who was not at all afraid of him or the people behind him.

Ling Zhen re-released a single kick on Wang Huang's stomach before strangling the young man's neck and hitting him in the face repeatedly.

“Listen, I will kill anyone involved with the Ling family massacre! You simply answer my question, otherwise I will kill you cruelly!” Ling Zhen released a stranglehold on Wang Huang's neck after saying so.

Wang Huang winced in pain and curled up on the ground. There was no choice but to tell him the truth.

Basically Wang Huang had the soul of a loser, so after feeling the first torment of his life he told everything and revealed it right in front of Ling Zhen.

Wang Huang explained to Ling Zhen if twelve years ago, the Wang family and Hei family allied to annihilate the Ling family after getting help from the Greed Fortress and the Gluttony Lantern.

The great plan of the Demon Worshiping Sect was to turn the Five Colors Continent into a continent filled with followers. And, the Demon Worshiping Sect promised the Wang family to become the new Qing Empire family, while the Hei family was promised to become the new Chu Empire family.

What surprised Ling Zhen even more was the massacre that left the Ji family on the verge of collapse, yet the Ji family was able to survive entitled to two mysterious female warriors who managed to make the Demon Worshiping Sect retreat.

After making a massive movement by holding ordinary residents hostage, finally the Greedy Fortress and the Gluttony Lantern managed to destroy and slaughter the white and neutral sect master.

Ling Zhen was still calm but when Wang Huang told the Demon Worshiping Sect that was after the God Heirloom and his elder brother who intended to make Miss Ji his wife, the look on Ling Zhen's face changed immediately.

Wang Huang said that if his brother likes to play tricks on women, especially his older brother will sell Miss Ji to the swordsman Gluttony Lantern as a sign of their cooperation.

Hearing that, Ling Zhen released a dense murderous aura and made Wang Huang break out in a cold sweat.

“Then who killed the Mayor's family? And what is your goal to subdue Wuzhen City?” Ling Zhen ignored Wang Huang who was telling the story and asked again.

Wang Huang carefully recounted that if Wuzhen City had abundant natural resources, of course, the Wang family was interested in making every effort to control Wuzhen City. One of them is by killing the entire Mayor's family and accusing him.

Wang Huang accidentally told him that he also desecrated the Mayor's wife and daughter before killing him.

“After successfully subduing Wuzhen City, what is your next destination?” Ling Zhen asked again, and Wang Huang gulped before answering him.

The ultimate goal of the Greedy Fortress and the Gluttony Lantern together with the Wang family would be to take control of the Blue Moon Pavilion and join the Demon Worshiping Sect and the Hei family that would stage a massive coup against the Qing family in the process this near future.

Ling Zhen took out the Nine Dragons Sword and looked at Wang Huang who was sculpting before him.

“Is there a last word you want to say after death?” Instantly Wang Huang was shocked to hear Ling Zhen's words.

“Eh?” Right after he was startled, Ling Zhen cut Wang Huang's body into small pieces. After that he burned Wang Huang's body using the Phoenix flames.

As Ling Zhen put the Nine Dragons Sword into the God Space, the White Foxes came over to him.

‘I thought you were going to kill him. What do you feel now?’ The White Fox did not read the atmosphere and jumped onto Ling Zhen's head.

“I have no regrets for having killed this fucking asshole! Thanks to his death, many people were saved!” Ling Zhen took a deep breath and calmed himself down, then returned to the residence of the Blue Moon Pavilion to meet Yue Rou before continuing his journey towards Jihao City.
