“How's Queen? Did you kill that young man?” Counselor Xiong asked as he looked at Chu Xiulan's empty beautiful face showing sorrow.

Chu Xiulan nodded slowly before the gaze of the eyes turned cold, “So can we start that ritual?”

“You need not rush, Queen.” Counselor Xiong explained that the ritual to raise Queen Chu from the dead must be performed at the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Counselor Xiong had long sought the existence of the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess. He realized that to corner Chu Xiulan would take a long time even ten years more because his ability to become a swordsman was crippled, once his comrades.

Yet now Adviser Xiong was very confident that his current self could corner Chu Xiulan in the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

“I'll show you the place. Places that should only be allowed to enter Chu.” Family members Chu Xiulan.

“Thank you, Queen. I'm very honored.” Advisory Xiong's eyes stared at the blade Chu Xiulan was holding.

That bloody blade was proof that Chu Xiulan had killed Ling Zhen.

‘I have a feeling the young man will interfere with our plans. But now there is no need to worry because this beautiful woman will be mine.’ Counselor Xiong hid his pleasure from having successfully manipulated Chu Xiulan's heart.

Counselor Xiong made an offer to Chu Xiulan if the woman killed Ling Zhen, then Councillor Xiong would raise Mother Chu Xiulan's mending from the dead.

Chu Xiulan accepted Adviser Xiong's offer to kill Ling Zhen. This Chu Queen was not aware that she was being taken advantage of by the Xiong Advisors, who would only become a slave to the Xiong Advisors lust after arriving at the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

Chu Xiulan returned to the room leaving Adviser Xiong standing near the stairs of Chu Palace.

Neither Chu Xiulan nor Adviser Xiong were aware of the existence of someone who suppressed his entire existence.

“Advisor Xiong, this guy is getting suspicious. As long as he doesn't interfere with our plan to take the Sky Spear, then there's nothing to worry about.” A man in his thirties in a red military uniform came out from behind the building and greeted Adviser Xiong.

“Goodnight, Mr. Xiong.” The man bowed and saluted.

“Oh, Lei Wei, what are the nights here?” Counselor Xiong was surprised because after all he was not aware of the presence of the man called Lei Wei.

“As Commander of the Red Cloud Army I must ensure that Chu Palace is in good condition.” Lei Wei replied while staring at the moonlight.

“Didn't the moon look very beautiful lately?” Lei Wei smiled and stared within the full moon.

Counselor Xiong frowned, ‘I know that the entire Red Cloud Force member is the swordsman Chu Xiulan defeated, but I did not expect the leader of this group to have any unexpected abilities by me before. I have to be careful with him.’

Lei Wei glanced at Counselor Xiong and returned to salute, “Goodbye to enjoying a beautiful evening, Mr. Xiong. I'm saying retreat.”

Counselor Xiong simply smiled seeing Lei Wei go away from him. While Lei Wei recalled the chatter Chu Xiulan and Adviser Xiong alluded to a place that was the Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess.

‘The Ancient Ruins of the Night Goddess, finally our wait does not end in vain. The rest just stay to give a sign to him to do the conquest.’ Lei Wei smiled with a grin after moving away from Adviser Xiong.

But the young man did not come, “Where is he?”

Yue Rou stood up and put her clothes back on while carrying her two swords out of the room.

But in front of the room was seen the White Fox who was walking around here and there, and after the door opened immediately the White Fox jumped onto Yue Rou's head.

“What's my cute fox? Did your master leave you? Alright, from now on let me take care of you..” Yue Rou tickled the fine feathers of the White Fox.

‘How lucky the human boy is because this woman really loves him.’ The White Fox put on an adorable expression while staring at Yue Rou's face.

Then the White Fox descended from Yue Rou's head and ran towards the river in the Chudong Capital while sniffing Ling Zhen's body odor.

Seeing the White Fox running, Yue Rou was flustered. But after he chased until in front of the gate of Chu Palace, there was seen Lei Wei talking with two members of the Red Cloud Army.

Lei Wei turned her head back and looked at Yue Rou with an astonished gaze, “Nona Yue, what are you doing in the middle of the night here?”

Yue Rou realized that Lei Wei liked her because the man had once bluntly wanted to have a daughter from a strong woman like Yue Rou.

“I'm looking for my husband.” Yue Rou's reply made Lei Wei put on a bad expression.

“Miss Yue, don't joke. Women as great and as strong as you can definitely choose a man who deserves you.” Lei Wei smiled back.

Yue Rou shook her head, “Although we are not married now, but she is already my husband.”

Lei Wei chokes, “You're serious?” Lei Wei wanted to make sure Yue Rou was not joking. He had seen Ling Zhen himself, but in his eyes, Ling Zhen did not deserve to be the companion of a red-eyed woman with a beauty that rivaled this Chu Xiulan.

“I'm serious. Lei Wei, have you seen the Queen?” Yue Rou asked, although she actually wanted to ask Lei Wei to see Ling Zhen or not.

Lei Wei nodded gently, “I just saw the Queen chatting with Counselor Xiong. And I heard an interesting chat from them.”

Lei Wei knew that Yue Rou was not very fond of Adviser Xiong, so she intended to invite Yue Rou over for a chat last night with him.

‘Tonight I should be able to do it. Do you know how I feel, Yue Rou? You make me jealous!’ Lei Wei's heart shouted.

Yue Rou shook her head, “Tonight I was having some business. If you want, tomorrow night we can chat.”

Hearing the offer, Lei Wei looked enthusiastic, “Alright, Miss Yue.”

Yue Rou was about to follow the White Fox, yet in an instant the White Fox's existence had already disappeared.

‘Haven't he been here? I can't track him? This cute fox is actually what animal?’ Yue Rou was astonished.
