IW 131 - Rainfall
Under the rain was seen a beautiful twenty-two-year-old girl running from the pursuit of a number of men who were warriors.
“Nona Li! Do you think you can escape from us?!” It was seen a man carrying a sharp machete grinning and staring at the girl.
“Do not hurt his body! Li Hua is the jewel of a noble girl! We must bring him in good condition to His Majesty Bao!” One of the warriors rebuked his friend.
“I understand! But it is a pity if we take it directly to His Eminence Bao right?!” The swordsman stared intently at the stumbling Li Hua.
“How foolish is the head of the Li family to let a girl as beautiful as this out of Limeng City alone!” The coach again said.
A while later the rain subsided and in an instant Li Hua was already surrounded from various directions. Li Hua himself did not realize that he was running near the river.
“There is no way out! You better obey our words! You'll enjoy it later anyway!” One of the warriors released a murderous aura to intimidate Li Hua.
But when the swordsman released his murderous aura he was shocked when he felt another aura. This aura was real to a swordsman, but that concentrated aura was very different.
The warrior swept through the entire area around him. He found a young man sitting cross-legged in the river. The young man was just wearing a cloth covering his lower body and sitting cross-legged with his leisure regardless of the rain.
“Hey, look. Is that guy crazy?” One of the warriors pointed at the young man.
‘Why should I end up like this? They plotted a killer on my father, I had to prevent it.’ Li Hua with uneasiness and fear swept through his entire gaze looking for a crack.
But his gaze stopped and stared in one direction - the river. Where a handsome young man with an athletic body was sitting cross-legged and not feeling disturbed in the slightest.
‘Who is that young man? His face is not foreign. Do I know him?’ Li Hua watched closely before his two eyes widened, ‘Isn't he... Mr Ling?’
The young man opened his eyes gradually and a faint smile turned his head towards Li Hua.
“For a long time no see, Miss Li. What are you doing in the woods like this?” The young man said in a cold voice. After that, he stood up and jumped.
“Mr Ling!” Li Hua could not believe that the young man was Ling Zhen. A question came to his mind. What was Ling Zhen doing in the middle of the forest like this? Why was the young man not wearing his top clothes? Did he not realize that down there was a prominent part and made Li Hua blush in embarrassment?
“Looks like you're okay Miss Li. Lucky I was here. If not..” Ling Zhen did not continue his words and stared intently at the entire swordsman wearing the robes of the Blood Moon Alliance.
“One finger you touched it! I'll kill you all!” Ling Zhen smiled coldly and released an aura of his body in large numbers.
Ling Zhen formed an invisible sword and disappeared from the sight of all the warriors who were about to kidnap Li Hua.
“Mr Ling!” Li Hua met her cheek red seeing Ling Zhen in front of her.
Ling Zhen smiled faintly and touched Li Hua's head gently, “Close your eyes for a moment.” Li Hua obeyed his words and closed his eyes.
What Li Hua heard next was the cries of the warriors who surrounded him. Ling Zhen's hand still touched his head.
A few moments the atmosphere became quiet and silent. There was no sound of screaming or the fishy smell of stinging blood. Li Hua was actually frightened, but Ling Zhen's existence made him not feel the slightest fear.
“Do not open your eyes.” Li Hua heard Ling Zhen's voice. He obeyed Ling Zhen and closed his eyes for a few minutes before Ling Zhen told himself to open his eyes.
“Open your eyes, Miss Li.” The first time Li Hua saw was the handsome face of Ling Zhen who was so close to him.
“Explain to me, why are you here?” Ling Zhen was worried because Li Hua's rash actions could have made the girl experience a bitter experience.
“I..” Li Hua gulped and turned his face to look at Ling Zhen who asked for an explanation.
Li Hua told him why he could exist in this forest and was being chased by warriors from the Blood Moon Alliance.
