IW 4 - A Travel Friend And A Teacher
For the past twelve years, Ling Zhen traveled down the Valley of Gods yet this place was so vast, it took Ling Zhen a long time to find the barrier wall of the Valley of Gods with the outside world.
A valley with beautiful scenery squeezed between these two mountains still holds many mysteries in Ling Zhen's mind.
But when Ling Zhen intended to travel by leaving the Valley of Gods, the White Fox told Ling Zhen that the peaks of the two mountains that were squeezing the Valley of Gods were the exits to the outside world.
About an hour or so, Ling Zhen and the White Fox walked up the mountain range. Arriving above, Ling Zhen was presented with a beautiful natural scenery in front of him.
Ling Zhen was aghast in shock when he saw such a vast sea of clouds, even the huge birds that were Demon Beast were flying through the sky.
‘This place is perfect for self-soothing.’ The White Fox said as it closed its eyes.
“If there was a place like this before, you should have told me long ago!” Ling Zhen complained because the White Fox did not tell him the beautiful scenery above the mountains.
‘I'm sorry for that, I don't think you're interested in any of this..’ The White Fox laughed softly seeing Ling Zhen complaining.
‘Try stepping forward.’ The White Fox's Order to Ling Zhen.
Ling Zhen nodded his head as he moved his legs, but his body came into contact with an invisible barrier wall.
Instantly the beautiful sea of clouds turned into a pitch-black night filled with a million stars.
‘It..’ Again, Ling Zhen was made surprised by the beauty presented before him.
Ling Zhen stretched out his hand and felt the same barrier wall as the one in the Valley of Gods, but the barrier wall here felt more of an aura as Ling Zhen's palm trembled upon touching it.
‘Make a deal with me, then you will be able to easily enter the Valley of Gods.’ After saying so, the body of the White Fox turned into a dragon that was larger in size than the two mountains.
Ling Zhen was made aghast in shock for the third time, ‘I can only be amazed to see all of this, but I did not expect my life would meet with things like this.’.
‘Drop blood from your thumb finger into that circle of my formation..’ The White Fox with the form of a dragon pointed at a golden-colored circle formation.
Ling Zhen followed the direction of the White Fox and bit his thumb finger until it bled, then dripped it slowly while paying attention to the circle of formations that were emitting a golden-white glow.
‘Your body will be forced through this power of mine. Hold on for a while as it will hurt, human boy!’ The White Fox that changed in the form of a dragon mocked Ling Zhen.
“As usual the way you speak it sounds sucks!” Ling Zhen clenched his teeth as he felt his body being smashed by such a large hand, that his entire stomach seemed to be about to come out.
The White Fox laughed out loud, ‘And as usual you look calm, even though you feel restless though!’
“That's none of your business!” Ling Zhen smirked and exerted all his ability to maintain his body that felt like it wanted to explode.
About an hour or so, Ling Zhen had to endure the pain until his body finally collapsed to the ground.
Ling Zhen's hands on his feet held the ground with his mouth grimacing in pain, “You really want to kill me, White Fox. But this is worth it! I'll take it!”
The White Fox returned to its previous form of being a fox and chuckled softly. Ling Zhen laid down his body and looked at the vast night sky.
“White Fox, you are not only my traveling companion but also the most valuable teacher of my life.” Ling Zhen smiled widely and got up to his feet while releasing all of his body aura along with his profound energy.
The White Fox only smiled and did not answer Ling Zhen's words.
As the two stared at each other, Ling Zhen and the White Fox nodded slowly before stepping their feet out past the barrier wall of the God Valley.
The story of Ling Zhen's journey into the martial world has finally begun.
