Every morning, she wakes up at six, runs around her apartment neighborhood, and then prepares to go to the office.

As an editor, his job is to read and evaluate books from different authors. He will give advice and advice to authors on how to improve their manuscript, before finally publishing the book.

However, Annisa is bored with her monotonous life. He wanted to find someone special to share his life with. However, she is also afraid to start a relationship. He had a broken heart and it was very painful. He didn't want to feel that pain anymore.

Annisa arrived at the office that morning and was greeted by her office friends who were busy working.

"I can't wait for Friday!" said Tiffany, one of Annisa's friends, waving her hand in the air.

"Yes, me too" Annisa replied with a smile. "It's gonna be a fun show."

"Who will you take to the show later, Annisa?" tanya Maya, who is also Annisa's friend.

Annisa laughed a little. "No one's plans yet. Maybe I'll come alone."

Tiffany raised her eyebrows. "Not alone, dong. I have a friend you might know. He's pretty handsome and smart."

Annisa smiled and shook her head. "Thank you, Tiff. But I'm not looking for someone handsome and smart. I'm looking for someone special."

That night after returning home from work, Annisa decides to stop by a small bookstore near her apartment.

Annisa was browsing through the bookshelf when she saw Michael, one of her journalism friends where she worked. He decided to approach Michael and start a conversation.

"Hello, Michael," Annisa said with a smile. "It's so nice to meet you here. How are you?"

Michael greeted Annisa's smile and replied, "Hello, Annisa. Good news, thank you. How are you?"

"All right, thank you" replied Annisa. "I'm looking for a new book to read. Do you have a book recommendation?"

Michael smile. "Of course, I have a lot of recommendations. What genre of books do you like?"

"I like to read romantic or science fiction books" Annisa said.

"Well, what about the book 'The Fault in Our Stars' or 'The Hunger Games'?" ask Michael.

Annisa nodded. "I've read 'The Fault in Our Stars', and I love that. I've never read 'The Hunger Games'. What do you think of that?"

"Very interesting and entertaining" said Michael. "I'm sure you'll like that."

Annisa smiles. "Thank you, I'll try to read that."

Afterwards, they walked out of the bookstore and around downtown New York. Annisa and the man chatted and laughed together. They talk about everything from books to movies, from music to hobbies. Annisa felt very comfortable with the man. He felt like he could open himself up and become his true self in front of the man.

As the night wore on, the man took Annisa to dinner. Annisa initially hesitates, but later decides to accept the invitation. They found a good restaurant.

"Thank you for taking me to dinner, Michael," Annisa said with a smile.

"Of course, Annisa. I'm happy to be able to spend time with you outside the office" Michael replied as he picked up a pinch of salad with his fork.

Annisa nodded and started to enjoy the dish. After a while, he decided to start a conversation.

"So, Michael, how did you get started in journalism?" ask Annisa.

Michael smile. "I have loved writing since childhood. After college, I immediately found a job in a magazine and worked hard to build my career."

"Wow, that's cool" Annisa said. "I also love writing and hope to build a successful career in journalism."

"Of course you can" said Michael. "You have incredible talent and ability, Annisa. I'm so glad you joined our magazine."

Annisa smiles. "Thank you, Michael. I'm really excited to work at this magazine and learn more about the world of journalism."

They keep talking about their work and various other topics during their dinner. Annisa feels comfortable and happy to be able to talk to Michael outside the office. He hopes to have more opportunities to get together with Michael in the future.

After dinner, Michael drove Annisa home to her apartment. They walk around the neighborhood, talking about everything.

"Have you lived in New York for a long time?" ask Michael.

"Yes, I've been living here since I graduated from college" Annisa replied. "I like living here. There's so much to do in this town."

"I love New York too" Michael said. "It's a city that's so lively and full of energy. But sometimes I feel a little isolated here. It's a very big city and sometimes it's hard to find someone special."

Annisa nodded. "I understand that feeling. I feel the same thing sometimes."

They walked silently for a while, enjoying the quiet silence of the night.

"Thank you for a nice night" Annisa said at last, as they reached her apartment. "I wish we could meet again someday."

Michael smile. "I hope so too. See you later, Annisa."

They hugged briefly and then Michael left. Annisa sees her leaving and then enters her apartment, feeling happy and excited to see her again.

The next day at the office, Annisa refocused on her work as an editor at the magazine. However, his mind was still constantly reminded of the conversation he had with Michael last night at the restaurant.

While he was busy working on a pile of work, Michael suddenly appeared in front of his desk. "Hi, Annisa," said Michael.

Annisa smiles. "Hi, Michael. Can I help you?"

"I just want to tell you that we're getting an exciting new assignment. We're going to write an article about fashion trends in New York, and I think you're a good fit to handle this project with me" Michael said.

Annisa was delighted and excited to hear this news. "Wow, that's so exciting! Of course I'm very interested in working with you on this project, Michael," Annisa said.
