Chapter 8's

The next day, Annisa comes to the office with a flowery heart, but anxiety starts to creep in when she doesn't see Michael at her desk. He tried not to panic and thought that Michael might have a sudden or late affair.

However, after a few hours, Michael still did not appear and Annisa grew more and more agitated. He tried to contact Michael via his mobile phone and email, but there was no reply.

The atmosphere of the office that should be crowded with work and conversation became very quiet and sad for Annisa. It felt as if the whole world had stopped spinning.

Annisa tries to stay focused on her work, but her mind continues to be troubled by concerns about Michael. Whenever the phone rings or the office door opens, he hopes that it is Michael who comes to tell him what happened.

However, until the afternoon, there was no news of Michael. Annisa decides to go home to her apartment with a heavy heart, unable to throw away the anxious and fearful feelings that loom over her.

When he arrived at his apartment, he felt lonely and kept thinking about Michael. He sits on the couch with his cell phone in his hand, hoping that he will receive a message or call from Michael.

However, as the day grew dark and time passed, Annisa could not hold back her tears anymore. He felt sad and disappointed, unable to imagine what happened to Michael and what would happen to his feelings.

He spends the night alone in his apartment, lamenting Michael's loss and confusion about what to do next. He can't sleep and just keeps pondering about Michael and their future.

After returning from Paris, Michael feels impatient to solve the problem with his fiancee, Ivy. He wants to see Ivy immediately and tell her that he wants to break off their relationship. However, things did not go as planned.

The moment he reached Ivy's apartment, he could feel a strange atmosphere. Ivy showed rather cold and indifferent behavior to him. Michael tries to talk about their problems, but Ivy doesn't seem too interested.

Finally, after a while, Ivy revealed the reason she had become strange. "Michael, I have to tell you something. I'm pregnant with your child" Ivy said gently.

Michael was shocked and did not know what to say. She never expected this to happen, especially when she loved Annisa. He felt trapped in a complicated situation.

Ivy then explains that she only learned of her pregnancy a few days after Michael left for Paris. He didn't know what to tell Michael.

Michael was shocked and did not know what to say. He tried to process all the information he had just received. After a while, he looked at Ivy and asked, "Are you serious?"

Ivy nodded firmly. "Yes, Michael. I know this may sound sudden and unexpected, but I can't lie to you. I'm pregnant, and that's your son."

Michael sat in a chair in front of Ivy and held his head. He doesn't know what to think. In a way, she still loves Annisa and doesn't want to leave her again. On the other hand, she could not leave behind a pregnant woman who was carrying her child.

"Ivy, I don't know what to say. It's really sudden and I need time to think about it" Michael said carefully.

Ivy understood and nodded. "Sure, I understand. I don't expect you to make a decision right now. I just want you to know."

Michael went home to his apartment with a messed up mind. She feels trapped between the two women she loves, and the situation is further complicated as Ivy conceives her child. He couldn't let the baby grow up without a father.

That night, Michael contacts Annisa and invites her to meet. They meet at a cozy cafe and Michael tells her about what happened to Ivy.

Michael sat at the cafe table, playing a spoon on the table. He felt uneasy and worried about how he would tell Annisa about the bad news he had just received from Ivy.

A little while later, Annisa arrived at the cafe. Michael was relieved that Annisa was willing to accept him. Annisa sat on the empty chair before her, smiling at Michael. However, the smile instantly faded as he looked at the expression on Michael's face that looked so tense.

"What's going on, Michael?" asked Annisa in a soft voice.

Annisa looked into Michael's eyes and felt a different vibration than usual. He felt that something was wrong.

"Michael, what is it?" annisa asked with a trembling voice.

"Annisa, Ivy is pregnant," Michael replied in a stammering voice.

Annisa felt shocked and disbelief. He felt disappointed and sad because after everything they had gone through together, Michael still chose to stay with Ivy.

"So what do you mean, Michael? What do you want to do now?" annisa asked with a trembling voice.

"Annisa, I can't leave Ivy in this condition" Michael said in a soft voice.

Annisa felt annoyed and disappointed. She feels that Michael chose to be in charge of Ivy's pregnancy rather than opting to be with Annisa.

"So that means you'll stay with Ivy?" annisa asked in a voice full of disappointment.

"I'm sorry, Annisa. I know I let you down, but I can't do this" Michael said.

Annisa felt her heart break. He felt that all their beautiful dreams together had ended.

"It's okay, Michael. I see," Annisa said as she tried to hold back the tears that almost came out of her eyes.

Michael felt the same destruction as Annisa. He felt very sorry and wanted to fix everything, but he knew it was too late.

The two of them stood up from the cafe table and looked at each other. Michael wanted to stroke Annisa's cheek, but he knew that it would make things more difficult.

"Annisa, I hope you know how much I love you," Michael said in a soft voice.

Annisa nodded and smiled towards Michael, though a little bit bitter.

"I know, Michael. And I love you too" replied Annisa.

With a sad look at each other, they parted ways and Michael left with a broken heart. While Annisa sat alone in the cafe, trying to hold back her tears that finally began to flow.

Annisa sat at the cafe table with a cup of coffee in front of her, her tears starting to glow. He was devastated and hurt by what had just happened. He does not believe that Michael chose to stay with Ivy because of the presence of their baby.

Annisa felt like an unworthy person to be loved. She wonders what is wrong with her so Michael chooses to stay with Ivy and not be with her.

He regretted having opened his heart to Michael, for now he felt like his heart was trampled and hurt. He felt sad and disappointed in Michael, in himself, and in this painful situation.

Annisa tried to calm herself, but her tears did not stop flowing. He felt lonely, wasted, and unloved.

Time passed and Annisa sat alone in the cafe. He still felt sad and disappointed, but also relieved that he no longer had to deal with Michael and all the drama he caused.

After a while, Annisa took a napkin and cleaned her tears. He stood up from the cafe table and left the place. He walked out of the cafe, with his heart broken, feeling like he no longer knew what to do next.
