Reynold smiled at Annisa and asked how she was doing. Annisa felt mixed. He had no idea what to say or how to respond to Reynolds presence. She felt sad because she remembered that Reynold had once severed their relationship.
Reynold took Annisa's hand and said, "I know you're in trouble, Annisa. I want to help you through this difficult time."
Annisa was moved by Reynolds words. He felt that someone cared about him even though they were no longer together. Reynold tells Annisa that he will always be there for her and will support her during her recovery.
The next day, Michael comes to the hospital to visit Annisa. He was surprised to see Reynolds there and was a little uncomfortable with the situation. However, Annisa feels happy because she feels that Michael still cares for her as well.
“Reynold, will you leave me alone with Michael? There's something I want to talk about.” Annisa.
With a heavy heart, Reynold finally stepped out of the room. Seeing Reynold's departure, Michael sat next to Annisa's bed and was silent for a while. Annisa finally decided to open her voice.
"Michael, I really appreciate that you came to see me" Annisa said slowly. "But I think it's better if you don't see me again."
Michael clasped Annisa's hand tightly and said, "Annisa, I want to help you. I don't want you to feel alone and down in your grief. You're always there for me and I want to be there for you too."
Annisa smiled weakly. He feels touched by Michael's words, but he knows that he must make the best decision for his own mental health. He decided to stick to his decision.
"Sorry, Michael. I know you care about me, but I need time to heal myself. I hope you can respect my decision" Annisa said softly.
Michael feels sad and disappointed, but he understands that he must respect Annisa's decision. He gave a gentle smile to Annisa before leaving, and promised to always pray for her recovery.
After Michael left, Annisa was relieved. Although she still felt lonely, she knew that she had already made the right decision for herself. He wished he could recuperate well and finally feel happy again.
After leaving Annisa's room, Michael meets Reynold in the hospital corridor. Reynold greeted Michael and they shook hands.
"I know you feel like you care about Annisa, Michael," Reynold said with a serious face. "But I've decided to look after Annisa from now on. I'll make sure she gets the best care possible and help her recover from her grief."
Michael was silent for a moment. He doesn't know what he's got to say. He feels sad and disappointed, but he understands that Reynold may know better about Annisa's current condition.
"I get it, Reynold," Michael said in a weak voice. "I just want to help Annisa, but if you feel better if you take care of her, then I will respect your decision."
Reynold gave a gentle smile to Michael. "Thank you, Michael. I know you care about Annisa, but I care about her too. I'll make sure he's safe and well-maintained."
Michael nodded and walked away from the hospital corridor. He feels sad and devastated, but he knows that he must respect Annisa and Reynold's decision. He prays for Annisa's recovery and hopes that she will be able to come back happy one day.
"Annais?" call Reynold gently.
Annisa turned her head towards Reynold, surprised to see Reynold there. He felt uncomfortable because he did not expect Reynold would come to see him.
"I'm sorry to bother you, Annisa," Reynold said as he sat on the chair beside Annisa's bed. "I just want to check on you and make sure you're okay."
Annisa just shrugged her shoulders weakly. He didn't know what to say to Reynold. He still felt heartache and disappointment over the incident that had just happened.
Reynold felt the tension between them, he could feel how hurt Annisa's heart was. He decided to take the initiative and start a conversation to ease Annisa's mood.
"Annisa, I know you're feeling sad and hurt" Reynold said softly. "But I want you to know that I will always be there for you. I'll take good care of you and take good care of you."
Annisa looked at Reynolds blankly. She knows Reynolds is trying to provide support and comfort her, but Annisa finds it hard to accept Reynolds words after she breaks off their relationship.
"I don't know what to say, Reynold" Annisa said in a weak voice. "I just feel sad and disappointed for everything that happened."
Reynold nodded understandingly. "I understand, Annisa. You don't have to force yourself to feel better, but I hope you can try to accept reality and try to recover from your grief."
Annisa nodded slowly. He knew that Reynolds spoke from a sincere heart and tried to help him through these difficult times. Even so, Annisa still felt hurt and disappointed. He just hopes all the problems can be resolved soon and he can return happy like before.
Reynolds kept Annisa in the hospital, helping her with her daily needs. She always gave her attention and support to help Annisa recover from the sadness and pain she felt.
For a few weeks, Reynold was by Annisa's side at all times. He brought Annisa's favorite food, read her favorite book, and even took her for a walk in the hospital garden. With all her efforts, Reynold tried to make Annisa feel comfortable and happy.
Time went on, and Annisa's condition slowly began to improve. The doctors gave the good news that Annisa was recovering from her illness. Finally, after several weeks of hospital treatment, Annisa was declared ready to return home.
Reynold was pleased to hear the news and gave his wholehearted support to Annisa during her recovery. She accompanies Annisa during the process of returning home, helping her with everything needed during the recovery process at home.
When they finally arrive at Annisa's apartment, Reynold helps Annisa break into the house and adjust to Annisa's apartment environment. Reynold prepared all the needs of Annisa, from food to medicine that Annisa had to take.
Annisa felt grateful to have someone like Reynold who was always by her side in those difficult times. Although Annisa initially feels uncomfortable with Reynolds presence, but slowly Annisa begins to feel comfortable and grateful for all that Reynolds has done for her.
