It’S Me Again

It’S Me Again
Chapter 16's

Michael stepped closer, "Yes, I. How are you, Annisa?"

Annisa found it hard to answer. He was still shocked to see Michael suddenly appear in front of him. She thought of Reynolds, and felt uncomfortable meeting her ex-boyfriend.

"I'm fine, Michael. How are you?" annisa asked, trying to stay calm.

Michael shook his head, "I'm not at my best. But I'm glad to see you again."

Annisa was uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to quickly go home. "All right, I have to go home now. See you, Michael."

However, Michael clasped Annisa's arm, "Wait a minute, Annisa. I have something to talk to you about."

Annisa feels depressed and wants to leave immediately, but she doesn't want to look rude to Michael. "Well, what do you want to talk about?"

Michael looked at Annisa with a loving look, "I know I made a lot of mistakes at that time, but I always miss you. I want to apologize and come back to you."

Annisa is uncomfortable with Michael's apology. He doesn't want to look back on the past, and he's convinced that Reynolds is the right person for him.

"Sorry, Michael. I have someone in my life now and I love him very much. I hope you can understand," Annisa said firmly.

Michael is disappointed with Annisa's answer, but he understands that he must accept this reality. "All right, I get it. I just wanted to say sorry and give you a chance to reconsider our relationship."

Annisa smiled politely, "Thank you, Michael. I'll consider it. Now I have to go."

With that, Annisa turned around and stepped away from Michael, trying to dispel her mixed thoughts about his past and future. He knew that he had to focus on his happiness with Reynolds and forget his past with Michael.

Michael saw Annisa leaving with a sense of sadness in his heart. He pondered for a moment, thinking about the mistakes he had made in the past and how he could make them right. She knew that she had to let Annisa go and focus on her own happiness.

With heavy strides, Michael turned around and left, promising to improve himself and not repeat the same mistakes in the future. She knows that if she does love Annisa, she must let her be happy with the person she loves and learn to accept the fact that they both have different futures.

Annisa walks into her apartment feeling worried. He was still reminded of Michael's sudden presence on the streets and his apology that took him by surprise. However, he knew he had already made the choice to be with Reynolds and did not want to go back in time.

As he sat on the sofa, he saw a photo of Reynold plastered on his front glass table. He pondered for a moment about his future with Reynold, about the preparations for his imminent marriage, and about how happy he was with Reynold.

But his mind kept being disturbed by Michael's presence. Should he reconsider their relationship? Does he have to talk to Reynolds about this? His mind kept spinning and he felt even more confused.

Annisa walks into her bedroom and sits on the edge of her bed. He pondered and thought back about his decision to be with Reynold. He knows he loves Reynolds, and he doesn't want to lose him.

However, he was also curious about Michael's sudden presence. The curiosity in his heart made him want to meet Michael again. Annisa felt like she was stuck in a confusion that she could not solve.

Annisa felt relieved after taking this decision and she knew she could face her future with more confidence. She knows she's got Reynolds always supporting her and she's convinced that they can overcome every obstacle that may come in their marriage later.

Annisa ventured to talk about Michael's presence with Reynolds. They sit together in the living room, and Annisa says that Michael has appeared before her suddenly and apologizes and asks for a chance to come back to her.

Reynold listened to Annisa's story carefully. He understood that Annisa felt this confusion and confusion could affect their wedding preparations. He decides to help Annisa solve this problem and gives her full support.

"Annisa, I understand your confusion. But I also believe that you have decided to be with me. We can solve this problem together" Reynold said with confidence.

Annisa was relieved to hear Reynolds support. However, Reynolds added something that surprised him.

"Annisa, can you meet Michael alone without me being there? I'm sure you can handle this well and I trust you" Reynold said.

....

One night, Michael decides to go for a walk alone on a cold, dark night.

He walked without direction, only walking with a careless pace and a heart filled with regret. Suddenly, he arrived at a quiet park.

Michael is angry at Ivy's lies. He sat on a bench and looked at the sky full of stars. He feels lonely and disappointed by what happened in his relationship with Ivy.

Back then, the memories of Annisa, her former lover, re-emerged in her mind. He recalled how much Annisa had supported him and always motivated him when he felt tired or disappointed.

Michael feels that Ivy's lost trust makes him want to contact Annisa again, who might be a shelter to calm him down.

Michael was silent in solitude, pondering about his uncertain future. He feels lonely, angry, and disappointed by Ivy's lies that have damaged their relationship. He did not know what to do next and kept himself locked in grief.

After spending time in the park, Michael felt a little relieved and again decided to take a walk alone. Suddenly, an idea came to his mind. He remembered the first meeting place with Annisa was a bookstore on a quiet street corner.

Without thinking, Michael took a taxi and went to the bookstore. He felt a little nervous when he entered the bookstore, but still stepped steadily. He recalled how happy Annisa was to be there and how much they spent together there.

Arriving there, Michael saw that the bookstore was still open even though it was late at night. He began to examine the books on the shelf and reflect on all the memories he went through with Annisa.

Michael is saddened when he realizes that his arrival at the bookstore only makes him even more angry with Ivy. He feels guilty about Annisa where Ivy is ruining the relationship that has been built with Annisa so far.

While staring at the books on the shelf, Michael realizes that he needs to figure out a way to repair his relationship with Annisa. He decides to give both himself and Annisa a second chance, and commits to mending their relationship.

With a calmer heart, Michael exited the bookstore and as he walked with a chaotic mind he saw the person he was thinking was walking in front of him. Annisa.
