Part 10 (Brave Young Girl)

"Na .. than, ooh Nathan." Steffany spelled screen printing the name that was on the back of the leather jacket he took from Kanaya.

"Wait, who is this Nathan?"

"Don't overthing first, better ask her sister Naya."

Steffany picked up her iPhone and dialed Kanaya's number. The call was raised, the sound of coughing was heard from across the phone, making Steffany worried.

"Hello Brother, Sister Naya why? It hurt?"

"No, Steffy. Brother just coughed because he ate fried food earlier." Kanaya lied. Actually, he coughed because he just finished crying.

"Okay, do not often eat fried kak, not good for health. Yes even though it tastes good and makes you feel good."

"Yes Steffy, thanks for the advice."

"Sama-sama brother. Oh yeah, actually I'd like to ask you about the jacket, who's this, brother?" ask Steffany carefully.

"Ooh, it's a friend of the sister's college, when brother was cold at the campus stop he gave his jacket for pity on brother, pedahal he's not a person who knows the brother closely."

After getting tired of chattering alone Steffany also fell asleep in her mattress with a supine position. Next to her is a laptop still on, one of Steffany's bad habits that is hard to get rid of is leaving her laptop on all night.

The next day Steffany woke up at exactly six in the morning, she immediately took a shower and then used skincare products for her face to stay well-groomed and more beautiful. After that she made thin makeup so as not to look pale like a sick person.

For breakfast, Steffany is not a complicated type of person, for him there is enough bread, salad and a glass of white milk if there is one. The important thing is that it contains a lot of fiber and of course no fat because he hates to see his weight go up.

"I hope your happy but don't be happy," muttered Steffany singing a recently booming song while rubbing chocolate jam over her bread.

Suddenly the apartment bell rang. It turns out Kanaya came to Steffany's apartment. The girl wanted to take her sister-in-law away together.

But Steffany had not yet opened the door, Kanaya's hand was pulled by Lee. Kanaya wanted to protest but did not so because she saw blood in Lee's arms.

"What's wrong with you, Mom?" kanaya asked worriedly.

Lee silenced Kanaya's mouth and dragged her away from her sister's apartment.

Kanaya resigned when Lee put himself in the car and left the Steffany apartment building.

"The bastard can't know where Steffany lives" Lee murmured.

Kanaya still did not understand who her husband meant. "Whose bastard is Mas? And that's why there's blood on your arm?" kanaya asked worried and confused.

"A stranger attacked me when I caught up with you here, Naya. That guy seemed to have followed me for a long time so he understood when I was off guard, but luckily you didn't get hurt" Lee said, rubbing Kanaya's cheek with his sturdy fingers.

"You're the first person I have to protect because I know you're weak, unlike my sister who I let against that bastard."

"No, Mom! Protect Steffy too! If that bastard is following you, it means that Steffy is in danger!"

"Don't worry, my sister's used to being in danger, she can definitely handle it."

"Mas, don't be like that, Steffy's a girl, she needs protection, too" Kanaya said.

"He's different, Kanaya. She doesn't like to be protected by her brother, believe me. He just needs his beloved laptop to protect himself from the lurking dangers."

Inevitably Kanaya must believe what Lee said because she does not want to continue arguing with her husband who is now in a state of injury.

Lee fitted a seat belt to Kanaya before driving his car to DSL beauty company at a fairly high speed. The man was worried that the person who had attacked him was still following him.

Kanaya's heart is touched by Lee's efforts to protect her. The man was even willing to get hurt, did Lee do it just out of a sense of responsibility as a husband? Or can Kanaya hope that her husband starts to love her?

Shortly after Kanaya and Lee left Steffany came out of her apartment with cheerful faces. Though he just got into a fight with the bastard who tried to kidnap him. Now that bastard's Steffany's prisoner. Yes, after defeating him Steffany handcuffed the bastard's hands and tied his legs with steel chains. No kidding, right?

From the outside Steffany does look cute, cheerful, adorable, like an innocent sweet girl. But on the other hand the girl is very dangerous, charismatic, and a little cruel to those who are hostile to her.

Now he has a mission from Lee to investigate what the motive behind the terror received by his brother.
